Review 1：Stiff clientele (business, old couples) and, generally, a bit stifling air about the place. Feels like a poor value for a town that "should be" cheap.

Review 2：Very cool oval windows in very thick walls in the second floor rooms. Very comfy beds, good facilities, good breakfast.

Review 3：The hotel felt very impersonal and the facilities advertised on booking.com were non existent. These facilities were the reason for booking and paying above the average. We were informed on leaving that the ham mans had been removed the previous year!! The other 'spa ' facilities necessitated an outside agency being called in, at expensive rates. Bar prices exorbitant. No staff on hand at breakfast

Review 10：WIFI was only available in the lounge which was very inconvenient. We had some problems on checking out as the electronic credit card facility was not working. At first we were asked to pay in cash, but after protesting the reception went to fix the machine which took about 5 minutes or so. Then the credit card facility worked ! But it was all so unnecessarily annoying.

Review 11：Its a very good hotel and in beautiful grounds. Room was spacious. It is near to the Rossio, the main square.

Review 12：The restaurant food was cold to Luke warm and the portions too small. It may have been because it was the Christmas period but I wouldn't recommend it!
