Review 1：Good simple motel for the price, only complaints would be cold room (it was freezing while we were there) due to lack of insulation and air coming in through the door. Cranked up the heat and we were okay.

Review 2：Good value hotel, friendly front desk staff, clean room and comfortable bed. It's a quick drive to downtown but not walkable to much besides chain fast food.

Review 3：The breakfast area is a bit small for the number of room/guests and quickly becomes over crowded. This can be somewhat unpleasant when the guest are rude....although, in fairness the hotel cannot be blamed for their guests poor attitude.

Review 9：Rooms were excellent. Could not hear others next door nice and quiet. Very clean, there were no disturbing smells, upon arrival staff was knowledgeable and friendly and it was not a long wait to get my room. On a rating from 1 to 10 I would rate them a strong 9.

He was uptight,maybe his first night on the job, I don't know about that but he wascold, aloof and only interested in checking me in. No one else waswaiting in line, I was the only one checking in. The bed could have beensofter. My wife and I didn't like that. Room was comfortableotherwise, would have liked a bigger shower area, and I mentioned thetoilet could have had more power on the "flush" instead ofrequiring several to unload. Do what you want with that comment. Gettingto the bw is a little difficult because of the location and traffic,however it's worth it. Parking was at a minimum because of a semitruck that took up several parking spaces. Don't want to soundnegative about our visit, because it wasn't that at all. Verypleasant to stay there, no noise.

Review 22：Room was very nice. Toilet could have more "flush" to it.Shower with a seat would have been nice so one could sit and washones feet. Breakfast was excellent, although not feeling quite aswell as I could have, the eggs and coffee were great. Wifedoesn't eat breakfast but even she agreed. Maybe the 16 oz ribeye I had the night before at Texas Roadhouse (an excellent place)had something to do my feeling a little off. Checkout by the twoladies the next morning was very nice, and I even was able toreminence with one of them over the Fredericksburg Hospitality Housebeing the Sheraton and an 18 hold championship golf course back in1973. She also confirmed that Best Western does not bill eachnight's room charge on an "room availability rate" asfhh told me they and all Fredericksburg Hotels/Motels do. What Ibook a room on booking.com for is the charge for each night. It doesnot go up. I was glad to hear that and didn't think that what fhhtold me was accurate. We will not be staying on the west side of I-95but will go to Best Western from now on.

Review 25：Rooms are a bit on the small side, but that is because the building is an older hotel that has been updated. The beds are comfortable & the linens very clean & pleasant, but you so feel a bit cramped in the room if you have more than 2 guests per room. And while a good rate can be found for this hotel Monday thru Thursday using hotel booking apps, the weekend rate for this hotel is wayyyyy to high!!

Review 26：Hotel is sort of hard to get to, odd access off Rt 3,as you have to drive thru several other businesses parking lots to get to the front office to check in, but hotel is clean, good rates Monday thru Fridays with hotel booking apps, and very good hot breakfast!! The eggs and bacon taste wonderful, not like some hotels where the food tastes like institutional fake eggs. And the lady in charge of breakfast items, keeps them well stocked & the breakfast area very clean! Nice rocking chairs outside on the porch that get a nice breeze in the mornings, perfect place to enjoy your cup of coffee! Like the outdoor pool too...it's small, but we'll maintained & tucked away in a private little outdoor corner away from cars & parking lot.

Review 27：Bed was too soft. I prefer a harder mattress. No thermostat in room. Just air conditioner with Hi Low and range of coldness. Tough to get set correctly when you arrive before bed time. Had to get up at night to adjust and finally shut off since it became too cold.

Review 43：I arrived in a blizzard. The friendly staff was trying to help stranded travelers find accommodations, but greeted me warmly and got me into my reserved room immediately. In the a.m. after a nice free hot breakfast I began wiping the snow off my car with my jacket sleeve. A maintenance man swept off the whole car for me so I was ready to hit the road again. I always reserve this Best Western when I'm coming thru VA, and I've never been disappointed.

Review 44：this faciilty is old and needs reno. I had to use all my might to shut the door. Strong cold drafts were coming through window and heater ran all night non stop. Toilet bowl was literally yellow as if it were not cleaned for days. The pot in the coffee maker was missing. All the above was reported to front desk

Review 55：Externally, the rooms are dated a little and some of the minor details inside the rooms reflect an older motel. But this is a very minor thing.

Review 56：Our microwave was broken and while they couldn't replace it at 10:30 pm, they offered the use of the lobby microwave which we declined (we only wanted popcorn). 10 minutes later they returned to our door with 5 packages of assorted bagged popcorn. They also changed our room from upstairs to a ground floor to accommodate my wife's disability. I will always look here 1st because of the value, and comfortable beds and outstanding service.
