Review 1：Where do I start. The accommodation itself looked clean and airy and we signed the forms trusting that it was as clean as it seemed on first impressions. On closer inspection however, we found we had some friendly roommates in the form of dead flies that fell from the curtains as we shut them for the night. This, along with the decorative muddy stains lining the bottom of them made for a homely feel. The cupboards that stored the plates smelt like stale cheese, the cushions on the bed were stained and the cabinet and coffee table were dusty. What had we paid a 90 euro cleaning fee for? Particularly when considering the `serviced`apartment is expected to be left polished, hoovered and mopped with the bed linen stripped from it. It is worth mentioning that this fee was not mentioned until we had completed our online booking. We overlooked all of the above as minor mistakes from an apartment that felt like it had not been inhabited for a while. However, on our last evening the shower head fell off the wall to reveal a moldy, relatively large crack in the holder that had clearly been forming there for a long time. We notified them on departure of the property and were told they were keeping a 50 euro fee from our 200 euro deposit to fix it. The lady checking us out explained that she could see that the crack had been there a while and was obviously not broken by us. But, in her words, she could not take responsibility for it and she would do her best to ensure we received this 50 euros back. This really was the icing on the cake. We are now continuing our travels out of pocket.
Review 2：The location of this property was perfect. We stayed in their Opera budget apartment which is in the heart of Liege`s shopping district. The lady who helped us was also very welcoming and helpful. The forms were all clearly explained and they offered to help us with our backpacks on arrival.
