Review 1：Nothing really that I did not like, there was some building work going on at the hotel, but it did not really cause any problems

Review 3：Fantastic location with nice view over the ocean. Friendly reception staff. We did not spend much at the poolside as we wanted to see Ihla Grande and Paraty but the short time we spent was nice.

Review 33：Secure compound, safe car park, the suite (consisting of 2 rooms) we had booked was adequate, good functioning airconditioning in the rooms. We were glad that is we were here "out of season" (3rd week of January), so it was relatively quiet. Looking at the many rooms they have, spread-over the various high floor buildings sitting close next to eachother and close to the pool area, in high season this place must be like hell.

Review 36：Attendance at the reception. The receptionist was arrogant. The bell boy did not pay any attention to help us to pick up the baggages. It seems that the hotel was running out of towels. It took so long time to give us the towel to use at the pool. Only 2 towels (actually 1 towel and 1 foot mat) were set for 4 persons in the room. Amenity is poor.

Very loud, and despitemany complaints to the front desk, the staff at the pool ignored beingtold to turn the noise down.This is from 11:00 in the DAY until night fall. The game: DISCO BOOM BOOM BOOM Go to front desk - Complain. Reception goes to Pool, NOISE goes down for one song. Next Song - DISCO BOOM BOOM BOOM. Go to front desk - repeat.
Review 41：Front desk staff have good English skills (Sue Ellen exceptionallyhelpful). Mini-apartments best describe the rooms. Nice view of waterfrom most rooms. Small kitchen in room (refridgerator, microwave, someplates) allow good use of the supermarket (Zona Sul) that is ten minutesaway when walking.
