Review 1:- Staff communication skills - We had a booking for 5 persons, and we been provided with 4 towels only. We asked for additional one during the check out day and we been requested with the hotel staff to purchase one from market as we are not entitled for towels during the checkout day

Review 3:There is no Parking in the hotel and they charged 150 SR to park your car in outside Hotel and if you need your car, you have to wait 1 hr to get your car.

Review 5:Extremely poor Facility for the price that was charged , Staff is not eligible to be in the hospitality industry. Very very small rooms and no maintenance. They did not even have enough towels and Water Bottles to provide.

Review 8:Do not accept the upgrade as the premium is so small compared to the regular. No much facility and only the reception cafe and outside restaurant! Corridore carpet was old. No full bathroom for a five star hotel! No ropes, no slippers, no toothbrush, bad smell soup, no ear buds... Nothing worth it!
Review 9:Unnecessarily Exorbitant rates. They are taking clear advantage of the necessity of people and charging huge sums, making it difficult for ordinary folks to get a chance to stay close to the Haram area. It really doesnt feel good. Capitalism and shareholder value, has reached the holiest of places on earth. We are losing the spirituality.
Review 10:Beautiful View and Proximity to Haram. Just walk Down and you are in the Masjid Haram Prayer area. It also has a very large Prayer area overlooking the Haram on the P9 Floor. This is very convenient if you are late to catch up for prayers. Its like an extended piece of Haram inside the Towers with Glass walls looking through the Kaaba. Mashallah. The reception, although busy was quite well managed. Words of appreciation for Mr. Mohammed Khan who was very useful and helpful in guiding through my first stay there and making us feel at home.
Review 11:Our stay was during the winter and the room temperature was freezing for my old parent, as we could not control the blasting air through the vents, despite complaints. Water was spilling out of the shower area and there was no fix to it. Check-in took 45 min, despite the claims for online checkin (which I did 3 days prior to checking in). I asked for compensation against discomfort by waiving 150 Riyal per night parking charge ( guests stayed for 3 nights), but I was only granted 1 night; and that approval took the floor manager 15 min (I turned down his generous offer of waiving parking fee for night 1).
Review 12:The hotel is in a prime location just infront of Haram. It is clean and the breakfast is excellent. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Very close to many restaurants and shopping areas.
Review 13:the staff didn't want to upgrade my room or the meal plan because my booking was through booking and not them directly, and the house keeping was not professional at all and they alway miss something or leave something with out cleaning ..

Review 15:Had to wait for a very long time (8:30pm) to get into our room and even then the the beds were not all there. We had to wait until past midnight when the 3 additinal rooms were moved in. We had prebooked a Deluxe Family Suite with a King and 3 twin beds but the room had only a king? Hotel should reimburse us the $1550 for the first night. Internet should be free for such rates.
Review 16:The staff especially Mr. Khan at reception and Mr. Zahid the porter were extremely helpful and accomodating.
Review 17:Close to Haram. The entry to Mataf/ladies gate is very close as well as escaltors going to first floor. Going to Madinah one can just go to -2 floor and walk few steps to the tunnel from where you can get alot of options. Truly a five star hotel.
Review 18:Bad service, i called 5 times to provide me with baby cot but they ignored me, i booked for 3 people but they did not put the third bed and one of us slept on ground. I need to call many time to answer me. Im not going to book thier in future.

Review 24:The guy at the reception was very professional and helpful. He was recently transferred from a Dubai branch of the hotel to Makkah and he knew how to treat customers properly. Also, the breakfast was nice.

Strange it was for me. 2/ While they did make amends, the first response that I got upon arrival was that I was early by 4 hours and they could not do anything but ask me to wait and do Umrah until then. Review 37:The facilities for coffee should not be in the bed room.becouse the sweet room it has enough place, so you don't have to disturb your friend when you make your coffee. Review 45:The public wifi was very poor and weak, plus getting premium wifi was quite costly whereas many hotels offer free Wifi in the rooms. The hotel doesn't seem to pay much attention to room cleanliness as the carpet was stained with brown stains, and in the bathroom, there seemed to be black patches underneath the wallpaper which looked like some mould or fungus. The breakfast buffet was good although the food was on the cold side. I usually like to stay at Rotana hotels but this experience was under my expectations from a Rotana hotel. We gave our feedback to the hotel customer service and they were positive in fixing these problems inshalla.

Review 51:In general, evaluation of several things depend on the time that u travel; in my case the check-in didn't take time. The staff members' attitudes were so good. Also there is a specific elevator beside the hotel's entrance which only takes u to few levels including ALHARAM.

Review 58:I am writing to complain about the taxi service you have in the hotel. I stayed here for 3 nights from Monday 29th June to Thursday 2nd July, me and my family had a very good stay here alhumdullilah. But I am very disappointed with the taxi service, we used the hotel service as we expected it to be at a very high standard but it was far from it, we left this morning at 9:05am and within 10 minutes the driver showed his lack of awareness as he nearly crashed into a truck and then I asked him are you okay as I said drive carefully please he said he's okay, I had a feeling he was tired and sleepy as the journey went on as he was driving between two lanes and swerving I had my wife my 14month old baby and my mother in law at the back who were terrified, as we got about 30 minutes into the journey he was driving very close to other cars in front and once again he went to the left lane really fast and I thought he was going to go into the back of the car in front that's how fast he was speeding and I asked again if he's okay and told him slow down... Then all of a sudden as he was driving so close to the GMC in front he couldn't slow down in time and crashed into it, we were very scared and I had women and a baby in the back! It was 45c outside no Air conditioning as the car was smoking and had damaged the front. I booked the taxi under the name of Mulla. I am very disappointed and I accept some compensation for this as this could cost lives and put us in great danger.

Review 98:Everything from the time I landed in Jeddah until I took off. The main reason was to perform the umrah and spend as much time as possible in both grand masjids. Alhamdulillah this hotel and the rest of them near haram are priceless. Some brothers complain about carpets,furniture, beds, wifi and so on.....I pray to Allah(s.w.t) to keep the people of both the holy masjids in good imaan and health so that they keep serving the hujjaj. This hotel is awesome, 5 minutes to haram and thats all I was hoping. Alhamdulillah hotel, staff, rooms, food and the service was beyond any praise or appreciation. If any brother just want to enjoy staying close to haram go for this hotel.

Review 101:Housekeeping is poor basically had to tell the guys to clean and when they did clean it wasnt brilliant, you have high expectations because it is in the one of the new clock tower buildings but just like any other hotel, bugs in the bathroom, no free wifi, a twin suite converted into a quadruple room, we had another twin room which was the same size with less beds. TBH actually quite disappointed but you get what you pay for.

Review 108:1. I have requested for a one double bed which is not provided. Instead they provided with two single beds. 2. Room opening card provided was a big disappointment. Every time I have to struggle 10 to 15 times to get the door open. 3. Carpets and chairs in room are with stains. 4. With the amount that is charging it is very disappointing that wireless is not free and the free wireless is just scrawling. How could a Five star acclaimed hotel did not check the facilities before handing over to customers.
Review 109:The best part is the partial kaaba view and direct audio of azan and prayer inside the rooms. Location of the hotel is excellent. Breakfast was excellent. Cleanliness is excellent. Check out time is just few minutes which is great.

Review 117:First I was Charged 200 SR for early check-in which I think is a bad gesture especially for a return customer who is paying 7200 SR for 4 nights. Second, the bathrooms were very tight -- the shower is less than 1m sq (this is the 98m sq suite, I don't know of others). Third, the WiFi is Expensive and HORRIBLE. I paid 80SR for 24hrs and couldn't get anything done. I had to go buy data sim from one of the mobile companies in the shopping area.

There were also no towels in our room, and it took housekeeping many hours and several phone calls to bring those. Shower didn't seem very clean - molding was discolored and there was buildup on the shower doors. Also, considering it is such a pricey hotel, they should have free wifi in the rooms. There was one incredibly rude person at the front desk (Emad), not sure if it was because we were two women asking him a question or a race thing or what, but he spoke to us with a tone of utter disgust as he told us to talk to someone else. Other than that the staff was pretty friendly.

The cleaning is very slow and the wirkers tend to be slow to get tips from you and the end its not super cleaning, no replinish for tea and coffee unless you ask for

Review 134:The staff is not friendly, helpful or respectful. Rooms are not properly cleaned and will leave trash in the room or not replace towels. Reception will not greet you with a smile or tell you about the hotel amenities. There is only free wifi in lobby and you have to pay 15 riyals (about $4) per hour and even that is extremely slow.

Review 138:Despite reaching after the stadard check in time it took me one hour to check in. No one at reception bothered why we are standing at reception until and unless we raised our voice number of times. I booked two rooms under a single booking whilst these rooms were not available beside each other or on the same floor.
