Review 1：I'm not sure if I just drew the short straw but after booking a specific type of room (queen bed) it wasn't available when I arrived so ended up with a makeshift twin room with the two beds pushed together. The sheets didn't fit, the mattresses were rock hard and being right above the door outside all I heard was it opening and closing. The decor is tired and the shower drain wasn't very effective so had to limit my time or else flood the unit! Icing on the cake was the wonderful little welcome gift of candy supplied by Booking were stale, old and just not very nice! I say all this but other friends who recommended the hotel have had good stays there!

Review 15：This is a really lovely hotel located in the centre of Gliwice. It was built in 1897 and now combines the lovely lit19th century exterior with more modern interior decor. All rooms can be accessed by a lift. It is always spotlessly clean and comfortable. Last but not least, all members of the staff without exception are warm, friendly and attentive. We cannot comment on food, WiFi or gym as we have not used them but judging by the standard of service otherwise I would expect these are also topnotch. We will definitely be staying again.

Review 16：The one-way system makes getting to the parking area a little awkward. The restaurant was closed on Sunday evening but the bar did serve decent food.

I was worried abouthaving the room facing the street but when the balcony was closed not asingle sound could be heard coming from outside, and the balcony was anice addition. The hotel staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly.We made a mistake when booking and paid for an extra day we were notgoing to stay - I thought it would not be possible to change as I chosethe nonrefundable option. On our arrival, when the hotel staff heardabout the mistake, they offered to check if we could change the bookingto avoid paying for an extra day. The system did not allow this but wewere given a voucher for drinks in the hotel bar to make up for it. Westayed during Christmas when the hotel was not overly busy and we weregiven a nicer room than booked, just because it was available. And tomake it more festive there even was a little bag of sweets waiting forus in the room. The location is excellent - close to the train stationand to the market square, on the high street. There is a 24 hourdelicatessen, almost next door. It was open throughout Christmas.

Review 56：We had a great stay at the hotel over Christmas period while visiting family. We are a married gay couple and we felt extremely welcome. The staff was very attentive and helpful. The bar at the lobby serves orange juice that is squeezed right in front of you. We travel to Gliwice a few times a year and we will for sure stay at this hotel again. Thank you to all the staff and thank you for the upgrade. The room was great and bed very comfortable.

Im Prinzip ok, im direkten Vergleich, eher mittelmäßig. Lag vielleicht auch am günstigen Preis. Die Fotos sind wohl schon etwas älter. Keine Klimaanlage. Frühstück könnte frischer sein.

Review 67：We had stayed at this hotel on our initial arrival in Gliwice - we then travelled elsewhere and upon our return we decided to stay at the Hotel Diament Plaza Gliwice again. We were pleasantly surprised by an upgrade - our room and sitting area were lovely. The staff is exceptionally polite and helpful. You can't find a better location - right in the middle of the city which is very convenient. Extremely good value for your money. We will definitely stay here again and have no hesitation recommending this hotel.

Review 68：I don't like the fact that a double bed is actually two twin beds put side by side - it isn't as comfortable as it should be. (although this seems to be the norm for quite a few hotels). Also although the hotel's advertisements state that it has air conditioned rooms - which we were expecting - our room did not have air conditioning and we were told that if we wanted a room with a/c we had to pay more money. The hotel advertisement should be more clear with regards to this matter.
