I loved the fireplace with real firewood! They stacked a lot of firewood on our balcony for us to use. The hotel was very quiet and peaceful. Although it is not that close to town, it is about a 10 minute walk.

Review 8：The grounds and the rooms were beautiful and very well kept. The room had everything we needed (every appliance, auxiliary cable, etc.) and then some! I particularly love that when you step outside your room there is a creek running past right there. The pool area was stunning settled right underneath the aspen and pine trees.

Review 16：We had such a fantastic stay at the Gant. It was in an amazing location, and they also offer a free shuttle if you don't feel like walking. Made us feel like we were valued, and even upgraded our room. We will be headed back in the winter for our anniversary!

Review 17：The bath tub drain was broken. I called and advised the front desk who said they would send someone.....no one ever showed up. Despite being out of the room for 7+ hours (basically 9am until 2:30pm) no one came to clean the room. At 3pm I received a call from housekeeping asking to clean the room. Having just returned from a full day I did not want to have to leave the room again until our dinner reservations. I was told that was too late. The next morning I went to use the hair dryer and despite plugging it in several different outlets it would not work. When I checked out, the girl at the front desk asked how my stay was, I said "not good". Her respsonse was, "oh, i'm sorry to hear that". after a little more discussion she said she would have the manager call me....it has been 2+ days and I have not heard from anyone. This whole experience was disappointing. For what we paid to stay there, I expected to not have any issues and/or be treated better than we were treated. I will not be staying there again!

Review 18：Unit was very nice and well located. Stayed at The Gant on a previous visit. Have a friend that owns a unit at this location (but did not stay in it on this visit).

Review 19：We found out after arriving that there is no A/C in the rooms. There were ceiling fans in living room and bedroom but this did not circulate well. Was sweating while putting on make up in the bathroom area. Was 90+ degrees when we were there for Aspen food and wine. Was miserable at night. They suggested we open our windows for air, but loud people outside kept us from doing that. Probably fine in winter but I will never stay here in summer again!! Building is in fair shape, needs some updating/upkeep in areas. Front desk personnel was hit or miss. Manager on duty was least helpful of all. When we used small shampoo in room, they couldn't even leave another on 2nd night of stay. At these prices, you can most likely find a better place to stay. Staff said they would wash our car for us. We thought they made a joke and they were serious. So we said ok. Sure. Well, they never did it.

Review 20：Location was pretty good for Aspen food and wine. We like to walk and 4 blocks from town center was good for us. Most of staff was great. Shuttle service to and from town was very punctual.

Review 22：No fault of the hotel. There were some drunken fools who were obnoxiously loud into the early morning hours near the pool area. They're incoherent ramblings echoed off the patio lounge. I almost called the Aspen police. We left the next day. The front desk said they would speak to the 5 ie 55 year old children about their immature ways.

Review 23：The unit below ours was under renovations and being spray painted, causing strong paint odors in our unit for most of our 3 night stay. After complaining they did offer to move us to another unit.

Review 24：We booked a premium 1 bedroom but got upgraded for free to a two bedroom. Requested a top floor which was granted. The units are spotless and comfortable. We enjoyed the three balconies, equipped kitchen and fireplace. Unfortunately they were spray painting the unit below causing some unpleasant odors.

Review 25：Arrived to find the lobby was closed and being refurbished, then placed in a room that was directly above some quite loud refurbishment work. Eventually moved, but still heard noise in the room all day. Little lighting in the lobby outside lobby area (maybe because of the refurb), but we had a close encounter with a bear whilst waiting for a taxi

Review 27：On our first day an internal blind, which was already broken when we arrived, fell off. The maintenance man who came to repair it was very rude. His attitude left a sour taste in an otherwise enjoyable stay. Our apartment, although clean, was badly in need of a thorough inspection by the maintenance staff. Some powerpoints didn't work and two lamps fell apart due to loose screws and bolts, but I reassembled them myself rather than call the grumpy maintenance man again.

Review 28：The location was good. Quiet, but only a short walk to a supermarket and other food outlets. The free transport was good. The bright well-lit room on the top floor was very comfortable. The staff, with one notable exception, were friendly and helpful.

Review 29：We rented a 2 bedroom condo for Labor Day weekend. We have been to the Gant 4 other times. This visit was wonderful, just like the previous ones. The condo was fantastic. The kids loved the pool and hot tub. The staff is friendly and helpful. This is a wonderful place to stay in Aspen. It is affordable and a great location. Walking distance to downtown Aspen.

In all, it was a very enjoyable stay and worth the price. The premium condos were very well maintained and very comfortable beds.

Review 81：My boyfriend and I stayed at the Gant during Christmas. Everything is perfect to me. The staff at the front desk and the drivers are helpful and very friendly. The location is not in the center of the town, but they have shuttles to everywhere. Besides, it's a small town so we basically can go everywhere on foot. The room is excellent, it has a big kitchen with everything and a great fireplace. Everything is new and very clean. It is a great ski experience in Aspen and the Gant, we will definitely come back again.

Review 89：Depending on where your Condo is located it could be a long and difficult walk with many stairs. We also didn't get help with our bags because we were later than 6 p.m. .. I realize its out of season.. But, that's not the way any Management Group should take care of their Guest. That was disappointing...

The unit was nicely furnished, the kitchen well equipped for us to fix meals and the beds very comfortable. The grounds were well maintained including 2 heated pools and hot tubs. The location is very convenient to downtown Aspen. The staff was friendly and very responsive when we had an issue.

Review 92：the lack of air conditioning does present a problem in the rooms as it gets quite hot in there. This is the second year in a row that this has been an issue for us.

Even though it is located in a more quiet areanext to the mountain, we still were able to walk everywhere. Privacy,views and within walking distance of everything. Just perfect!
