Review 1：We had a look at the breakfast room and decided to eat outside. Choice was mediocre and rooms without windows.

Review 3：The location was excellent- in the main street, handy to shops, cafes & restaurants. Because of Wi-Fi connectivity problems in the old part of the hotel, we were upgraded to deluxe rooms which were very good. The reptionist was very helpful & informative. Food at the hotel was good.

Review 4：We stayed here at the end of a 2 week trek by train across Slovakia. The room was a little small but the price was right. The hotel is with in walking distance of the bus and train stations. It is a nice walk through the park. The staff was very nice. Breakfast is not lavish but certainly adequate. There is a lift which Is helpful since there was no one to help with luggage. We were given coupons for a welcome drink in the bar which is always a nice touch. We did not eat in the restaurant except for breakfast since we were visiting with family. We would recommend this hotel to friends/ family.

Review 7：This hotel has excellent staff who also speak English. The rooms are spacious and comfy. They also have spa facilities which should be tried out. The breakfast is also very good. They also have a nice evening menu.

Review 8：We've been there for 3 nights till the 24th of December. We had a great time - welcome drinks, parking, room with main street view in the hotel and Tesco, concerts and national street food on the main street just near the hotel. This hotel is great to stay because it is situated in the heart of the Kosice city.

Review 9：The parking is free - according to Booking.com, but in the real it is cost 7 EUR. The bath robe and other equipments missing from the suit. The design looks like to back the past in the 80s.

Review 41：The old centre of Kosice is beautiful.. The hotel's location in City centre on the main square, Hlavna, is ideal, as it is pedestrianised. It about a kilometre from the station, bus and tram termini. There is a range of cafes and restaurants all along Hlavna, which is about a 15 minute walk from one end to the other. There is a Tesco Supermarket near to the entrance and M&S at the end of the square. The rooms in the Hotel were very comfortable and clean with plenty of space. The reception staff spoke excellent English and were particularly helpful with local advice and knowledge. The range of food at breakfast was perfect.

Review 42：Usage of the wellness/spa costs EUR 7,-/person and it's not included in the price of the room (despite the English language website of the Hotel). The hotel hasn't fixed that problem since the website still says that the price includes the entrance to the wellness center. No hungarian TV channels in room (despite the fact that 10 % of the Slovakia's populaton is Ethnic-Hungarian)

Review 43：Very nice hotel with a great location and wellness center. In case you reserve the wellness/spa, you can exclusively use it for 2 hours (no others can entry the wellness room)!

Review 49：A very friendly welcome; the price of a room was more expensive at reception than on booking.com, but the receptionist gave me the wifi password so that I could book through booking.com on my phone and save €20 on a two-night stay. The website says the 'economy' rooms do not have air conditioning, but in fact all rooms in the hotel have aircon. Good quality, comfortable rooms. Great location, on the main street. All reception staff friendly and willing to help. I was moved to a different room without a fuss after I noted that the first room did not have a wifi signal.

Review 50：Everything ! Hotel is deceptively small from outside but from moment you walk in to reception you are welcomed by friendly, efficient staff. There is an elevator which is great when arriving/departing with suitcases. Otherwise use the stairs. The hotel is modern, clean and nicely decorated. Room had air conditioning, free wi-fi, international tv channels, mini bar, in room safe, plenty of closet space & drawers for storage. The bathroom products were Eco-friendly 'refills', no unnecessary packaging. Buffet breakfast is included in rate. There is free secure car parking for guests. Hotel is located on Hlavna, in the centre of Kosice - lots of shops, bars, restaurants and sights are on your door step !

Review 51：A very good gesture to pack a take-away picnic breakfast for our earlymorning day trip to the High Tatras. How-ever bit of improvement withportions and variety in the take-away picnic is needed. No plasticspoon to eat the yoghurt from the cup and no serviettes was includedin the pack.

Review 55：I spent 8 nights at this hotel but having a hotel and restaurantmanagement background I look at things with a professional critical eye.There was one thing I did not like right away: upon my arrival thereceptionist tried to cheat me out of my single deluxe room by giving mea double standard room (Nr. 310). After I complained, that this is notwhat I paid for, my room suddenly re-appeared in her computer and shewas pretending doing me a great favour. Strange behaviour, given thatthere is only one single deluxe room (Nr. 209) that I had booked longtime ago for me. I suggest you check the category of your room on theposting on the wall to the left of the reception desk together with themax. Rack rates. The second thing I did not like for a 4 star hotel thatI had to schlepp all my heavy luggage from the car to the room and back.There was no help offered, no bellboy, porter or concierge, I had to askfor a kitchen trolley. Most rooms look into an inner courtyard so thereis not much day-light. Also, you can hear the maids and staff talkingany time of the day (especially upon arrival at 6 am) and the worst arehigh heels on the hard tiled floor. Since we are on the topic of floors:be very careful when you get out of the shower, make sure you use thestep-up towel or the tiles are dangerously slippery (I did fall down).There was just a little can for refuse in the bathroom, none in theroom. Lastly, the Air Conditioning; it worked fine 8 am to 8 pm withremote control, however, during the night they have some kind of acentral override which stops cooling and only the ventilator works. Thereceptionists tried to tweak it several times from their pc screen to noavail. So get ready for very warm nights and due to the noise and echo,you certainly do not want to open your windows either.

Review 56：The hotel is ultra-modern, and still being expanded. Rooms are big andthe bathrooms even bigger and always spotlessly clean. This hotel offersstate of the art flat screen tv'S. Their Restaurant Diplomat offersexcellent cuisine and Cafe Bayer serves the best espresso in the cityYou can also enjoy drinks and food under big umbrellas on the sidewalksince this is a pedestrian zone. Ambassador offers both Ethernet andwireless internet connection at no charge. The parking area entrance isfrom the rear (Kovacska ul.) next to the Tesco and is free. The staffwas very professional, polite and friendly.

Review 57：Perfect location. The hotel is very nice, very clean, staff is great. The gate to the parking is on the other (parallel) street, so if you travel by car, I would recommend to contact the hotel in advance and get the address or instructions how to get there.

Review 60：I found that as with any of the hotels in Slovakia, there is smoking allowed in some of the rooms and areas of the hotel. Because of this, there is that smoking odor in the hallways, but it was not BAD at this hotel by any means. It was just there, but I never smelled it in my non-smoking room.
