Review 1：The lack of a hard copy of the local newspaper for purchase. The flip side... Steve, the G.M. picked us up at the car rental location....then was kind enough to stop so I could purchase a Sunday paper. Thanks Steve!
Review 2：The staff! It starts a the top with Steve, the GM, followed by Vicki, Mike, Allyson, Mike and Jason at the Front Desk. Continues with Sue at breakfast and staff at the 5-7 lobby reception to the staff that cleaned up our room during our stay. Everyone deserves to have this positive response inserted into their personnel files. An awesome experience for sure! The front desk staff was also proactive in keeping down the "noise" from a large group (3 hockey teams) that had booked the hotel on the weekend. The staff wanted us to enjoy our visit and they surely came through with flying colors. Thank you!
Review 3：The facility had trouble with snow removal which made getting to and from the car a little dangerous. For the amount charged for this property you would expect they could hire a first-rate snow removal service.
Review 4：The room was comfortable and looked nice. It has all the amenities of a three star hotel. The breakfast was good and well stocked.

Review 6：I would of scored this hotel 10 but in our room refrigerator there was someone elses leftover chinese food, so we know it was not cleaned. Along with finding some hair in the bathroom sink. Disappointed no appetizers Friday night 4-9.
Review 7：The hotel looked fairly new upon driving up or very well maintained. They had more than two luggage trolleys! The receptionist was on the phone upon check in and immediately asked for assistance to check us in. It was nice not to have to wait for someone. We have two Golden Retrievers and they were very nicely welcomed to without having to pay extra. The appetizers Thursday night was quite a surprise and fantastic; it would of been nice to also have a small beverage. The beds you just melted into. Never seen a shoe cleaning device before you entered a hotel before, bravo. The breakfast Friday was quite different from Sat morning and again a nice surprise. In the pool area they also had handicap chair lifts for both pool and hot tub. Although I would check the clorine level, the fumes were quite strong. Although there were alot of kids staying friday night you really didn't hear anything in the hallways. We definately will stay at this hotel when we are in Duluth again.

Review 12：it was a little loud at times. You could hear most of what was going on in the hallways, and while there didn't appear to be a lot of people, you were able to hear every time another rooms door opened and closed and when they were cleaning.

Review 14：The pool area is incredibly small. We came for a special occasion, and when we went down to the pool area, we were met with several unsupervised older children, screaming and taking over the entire pool area. Not much help to figure out the situation, unfortunately.

Review 17：The manger and staff are extremely friendly and helpful and accommodated all our needs: We needed a shuttle to and from the airport late at night and early in the morning and were always met courtesy. Everything about the hotel is clean and welcoming. Rooms and beds were very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was excellent as well.

Review 28：The cable wasn't transmitting correctly; a lady from the front desk had to go twice to our room to try to fix it, she was friendly but "an Excellent customer service" will never said: "ugh ya we always have the same problem every day since we open its annoying" that statement just tells me that you don't care about the guest because obviously you know it is a problem and haven't get fixed. Every single detail is part of the guest experience. Please clean up the white dust inside the closest from construction, still seating there in both of our rooms.

Review 30：the breakfast was not good. the bacon was paper thin with no taste and the waffle maker was down. There really was not much of anything. There was a child around 12 years old coughing all over all the food and no one told him or his mother to leave the area. I was really turned off, not sanitary.

Review 34：we were in room 104 and it was next to the sprinkler system mechanical room. A compressor or pump cycles about every 2 hours and rattles the headboard of the bed, waking you up. Complained to the front desk and no offer to help with the bill. Very expensive room for not being able to sleep

(The google maps were way more complicated than the actual driving.) Great breakfast of eggs, bacon, sausage, etc-free!
Review 40：The breakfast was out of control due to majority of 9:30-10am guests acting like animals. Wondering if a larger DIY kitchen space was needed. Maybe give them troughs. The pool was a bit of a joke to me. The place was difficult to find, quite a ways away from the fun area of Duluth.
