Reviews for Laemya Inn

Review 1:Lovely owner. Thai lady spoke good English. She help me sort my accom issues due to missing ferry for koh samet. It's not by the ban phe pier but she transports you for 200 baht , which was great fur to having lots of luggage and child to look after . Which was about a 10 min drive. 5 min walk to a nice beach. Would recommend. Free bedding got my 2 y old son

Review 2:No one on stay understood any English, as advertised. Apparently original owner who spoke English sold to a Thai family that understands zero English. Made all communications virtually impossible. Also, rooms never cleaned daily without having to ask first, even then since they did not understand any English they still were not cleaned. No in room safe either.

Review 3:Proximity to the water

Review 4:The room could have done with a sweep.

Review 5:The food was fantastic and the staff were very welcoming. It has a very comfortable atmosphere. The location is very quiet and still within walking distance of the beach.

Review 6:Although we were looking for a place directly on Koh Samet, we were eventually delighted to stay in Laemya Inn. The beds were fine, and the room was mostly clean (apparently a staff member was hanging out in the room before we got there; it was clean enough, though). Bathroom with an oddly placed toilet, but hey, it's Thailand! Glad it had toilet paper, lol. Room service was great, although the breakfast wasn't worth the extra 100 baht/person. Kind of away from the pier, but close enough. Take directions for taxis, who don't know where it is.

Review 7:Friendly helpful people

Review 8:The water doesn't work very good

Review 9:Nice staff, good location

Review 10:DOGS BARKING LATE AT NIGHT

Review 11:STAFF VERY GOOD AND FOOD

Review 15:Some of the staff do not speak English Beach not so clean (in July)

Review 16:Quiet location Friendly staff, willing to help Large room Close to the beach

Review 17:Nothing ,,,at all rubbish the total area ,,,,,

Review 18:Nothing ,,,,,, at all nothing ,,,,the area is not clean to many dogs ,,not enough room to park your car ,,,THEY do not cater for western food and what they offer is rubbish,,,,dogs ,,food ,,,the people ,,,the beach is not clean and rubbish everywhere,,,,,,only for Thais this place

Review 19:The beach in front of the hotel is dirty, but it's not a private beach, but common.

Review 20:Very helpful and friendly staff, good English, comfortable and big rooms, equipped all necessary things, beer in the bar 24\7 ))), pleasant breakfasts, quiet and beautiful place, park with nice sea-view point is nearby.Speedy wi-fi throughout the whole area. Nice view, pleasant neighborhood. The hotel is not too large in a special, non-many-tourists-pass-by-area. That is why it's so nice to spend some days there without any fuss and loud noise of a crowd.Very picturesque place and views. Some pears are located not far. You can drive within 10 minutes and move by boat to Koh Samed, for example. The water in the sea is warm and clean, even when there are too many waves.

Review 21:Absense of of free coffe and tea, no boilers in the room, no cups, no information about excursions, buses, no maps." You have to choose - to smoke or to look at the sea. !If you get there, don't start from Raiong, only from Bun Phe. The best always opened shop was found only at the end - at the main road, 50 meters after the left turn.

Review 22:Small hotel, polite personal, sometimes extremely sensitive, beautifull place (almost in the forest), no any peoples around you. You can always drink with staff.

Review 23:No electric, no hot water, and no water at all on the second morning. The lack of English spoken staff. Curtains flapping open while getting changed, constant bass coming from bar and the concrete looking floor in the bedroom! Every time we had a problem or something wasn't working, they didn't take it seriously and joked in Thai. But I speak Thai so understood everything they said (give n take a few fast words)!

Review 24:Swapping hotels after the first night, to coco!

Review 25:Its bit far from the Ban Phe centre but you can rent a motorbike from them

Review 26:Tom and Hans are the nice as host they tried to feel us at home speacially Hans made nice breakfast for us thanks we love the stay at LAEMYA INN

Review 27:Not the hotels fault... but the beach is horrible, sadly as many Thai beaches are... It's a potential paradise completely destroyed by extraordinary amounts of rubbish in the water, on the beach and lining the streets.

Review 28:The staff are friendly and helpful. The location is great, it's quiet and right on the water and the headland.

Review 29:extremely over-priced! exploiting the Thai holydais of Bangkokians, they charge over a thousand baht per night in low season for a very average room.

Review 30:staff friendly and helpful - but gay!

Review 31:Nothing to remark.

Review 32:Quiet area close to the beach. Room with lots of space and beautiful seaview. Friendly and very helpful staff, make your visit really enjoyable.

Review 33:Owners Hans and Ton were friendly and helpful and made our stay very pleasant. It is a great local place, and the beach is beautiful. I highly recommend the Laemya Inn.

Review 36:The building.

Review 37:Proximity to Ban Phe

Review 38:Next to the beach.

Review 39:No coffee available for early risers, not a lot of food options.

Review 40:Quiet hotel just a short walk to the beach.
