Review 6：The room was lovely looking out over the water. It was clean, spacious and had a really comfortable bed. We ate dinner in the restaurant one night and all of us had a really enjoyable meal.

Review 7：1. We wanted to have a shower after swimming with the sea lions, after we had checked out. According to one staff member, that was just unfortunately not possible, luckily we asked a bit later and another staff member offered us the cold shower in the pool area, but it's still not great service that apparently after we check out, it's not interesting for the hotel to help the guests... 2. The food is not that good for what you pay - the oysters were spawning, so not very nice to eat and the calamari was pretty hard. Not great for a town renowned for its seafood, expected better considering how great the facilities were.

Review 9：It was not explained at the time of booking that we could not charge to our room and then pay at the end of our stay. Also at check out I was made to feel like theif as i had to wait for house keeping to check room before our $100 was given back. Why do you need a $100 security deposit when you are going to check the room out before we leave anyway.

Review 18：The hotel was a fantastic place to stay. The pool was beautiful and a perfect temperature to cool off from the very hot weather we had whilst visiting. Staff were always helpful.

Review 21：We only had debit visa cards as many people must do these days. This presented problems including prevention of charging room service and meals/drinks at bistro to room. This is really not good service and has never been encountered before including ie. at Adelaide Hilton Int. the next few nights. Also, no express check out and we were made to wait as staff checked room presumably for mini bar usage. Again, this appeared to be because of debit card only but in any case presented poorly in terms of customer service.

Review 23：Found dry blood on the doona cover and after informing the front office, bed made up with same doona cover. From picture when booked wrongly presumed the room I booked had twin beds. When checking in only room available had queen bed. Was travelling with relative so not suitable. They did quickly make up a sofa bed though.

Review 25：We didn't really have a bad experience but just a couple of very small comments. Brown and green decor a bit dull. Very functional but doesn't really inspire a holiday mood. We had two queen beds which were great, but only one side table - not so good. The lighting in the room could also do with improving. Fixing these small things would moved the rating from excellent to superb.

Review 92：after a lovely dinner on the first night rebooked again for the night after. asked if it would be possible to just have grilled,plain, tuna & where told no problem. the waiter took over 25 mins to deliver the wine & the food took 1.25 hrs ,the tuna was covered in sesame seeds, even though we requested plain tuna. sometime during the night a note was pushed under the door offering a complimentary breakfast ,served until 10am, we arrived at 9.30. there was very little bacon the few scrambled eggs had set solid around the edges,there were no baked beans left 7 the sauce had dried hard in the pan.we complained & 10 mins later nothing had happened when I asked to see the restaurant manager I was told no one was in charge, a waitress was sent to see me & began to offer to make a breakfast for me,just as the chef left the kitchen. I then went to reception & asked to see the duty manager ,who arrived from the kitchen. THERE WAS NO POINT IN DEBATING WITH HIM. all the usual cliches offered but the main point was missed. the LAST breakfast should be as good as the FIRST

Review 107：Everything about the Port Lincoln Hotel... I could not fault a thing. It was our second stay, and we will definitely return again. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in. Our balcony room looking over the city was was fabulous as we caught the warming sun each afternoon on what has been a relatively cool January. I was particularly pleased that Sharky's Bar was playing the Hottest 100 on Australia Day, as many other venues did not. The Housekeeping staff were so friendly. As were the hospitality and reception staff. Keep doing what you're doing is all I can say.

Review 108：I enjoyed my stay at the Port Lincoln Hotel very much. Both my brother and I stayed there both prior to and post a 3 day shark diving expedition. The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Downstairs is a bar and a world class restaurant, do yourself a favour and stay here.

Review 109：the wifi is slow and not very reliable. The pillows are a bit on the hard side, some of the reception staff can be a little officious and rarely acknowledge return visits, in contrast to the lounge and dining staff who are always friendly and welcoming.

The staff are friendly and efficient.But the best thing is the convenience, it is a short stroll to almost everything in Port Lincoln, less than 20 minutes to the airport and right on a beautiful bay.

Review 117：It took us over 50 years to eventually get to Pt Lincoln and we finally decided to holiday in our own State. The Port Lincoln Hotel was the perfect place to stay. We booked in for a week and views from our room were amazing. We were on the 5th floor over looking the pool and beautiful coast line. We had no problems with noise from the bar / restaurant areas downstairs at all. The restaurant had a great menu and the quality didn't let us down... followed up by very friendly staff.

People on the next balcony smoking, which is obviously allowed as we had an ash tray on our outside table, the smell entered our room every time we opened the doors, a non-smoking hotel should be just that, no exceptions.
