Review 1：Savings all around are noticed. No tv in the hotel, shampoo or other cleaning stuff in the rooms. We had to checkout one day earlier from the hotel but owner didnt compensate anything. I dont like such approach to the clients and wouldnt prefer again, nor recommend it..

Review 8：We were there for a night and I think it was a good choice because we had a spacious and cool room to sleep. The garden is not big but it is beautiful and good ti chill out. You can spend a perfect afternoon on a sun-bed on the platform beside the river in front of the hotel and watch the famous Dalyan rock tombs. We had dinner in the garden which offered beautiful atmosphere.
Review 9：The breakfast is basic. It is sufficient but maybe they can change the types of cheese or add some egg dishes and fresh herbs for a change. If you stay long, eating same food everyday can be boring.
Review 10：Location is great, it is on the riverside. There are a lot of relaxing places in the garden such as hammocks and booths. There are two dogs, one of them loves to eat bagels in the morning :) The staff is very friendly and helpful. We ate dinner one evening, it was very delicious. 55tl per person is very reasonable for 3 side dishes, salad, a very big portion of fish and dessert. The owner's daughter was cooking when we were staying. Her cakes are so delicious. We almost ate everyday :) We'll definitely visit again.

Review 12：Poor wifi. Overpriced dinner. For a reasonably priced option, my bill after one night was extremely high - room charge was more than quoted on booking.com and we mistakenly had dinner there - a whopping 55TL pp. much more than we've paid for meals throughout our time in Turkey.

Review 14：Amazing location, a little away from the major touristy accommodation which is a plus. I would highly recommend booking for the hotels dinner. It's fresh, local and amazing. If you want somewhere that is NOT trying to cater to the British family who wants bacon and eggs for breakfast and a heated pool, this is your place!

The room was clean and comfortable and nicely decorated. The garden is beautiful and the idyllic setting right by the riverside, looking across to the Kings Tombs alone is worth the stay. Would love to stay here again.
Review 19：We have been raving about the Happy Caretta ever since returning. It's set in a beautiful garden with nice hosts and good rooms, but the setting is the best of all. We ate at tables in the garden right above a lovely river, looking across the river at ancient tombs cut in the cliffs. We swam right there. The food was fabulous and I don't know how our stay could have been better. My perfect score may seem unrealistic but that's how we felt!

Own restaurant on the premises, where one can have a dinner for 55 TL. Wonderful leafy garden. Free parking. In short - a little gem.

Set in an idyllic and quiet area the Happy Caretta has fabulous views from its gardens but is still within maybe 10 minutes walk from the town centre. I have visited here a few times with various friends & family on short breaks and all have found the aspect as stunning as myself. The rooms are simple clean and pleasant and I find the general style totally appropriate for the area the hotel inhabits.

Only the owner's wife speaks English and she's notoften accessible. Consequently, you won't get much help orinformation from staff unless you speak Turkish.
