Review 1：Very quiet but that was also good as you could totally relax. Im sure it would be more lively during the summer. No lockers in room but they have small safes in the room.

Review 2：The house is lovely,like a home with lots of antiques and personal touches. Im off season but there is a pool which would be great during the summer! Loved the homemade cakes as part of a sweet breakfast!Hostel provided a bike for free to cycle to surf school/beach.

Review 6：My husband I just loved our stay at Carcavelos Surf House. The house is pretty big, comfortable, clean and tidy. Really good Breakfast included. We met the staff and the owner, they are really polite, kind and gentle. We will certainly return to Portugal and spend more time there. The house is also very close to the beach Carcavelos. You can go on foot. It's a fabulous place which we recommend!

Review 8：Can't recommend this place highly enough. It is even nicer than the website. The staff couldn't do enough for us and we're very friendly. Gorgeous pool and bikes down to the lovely beach. A great place to spend your holiday. We will definitely go back again!

Review 9：It is a small, well run, clean and modern guest house. Big swimming pool, and beautifully decorated throughout. There is a clear surfing theme and the managers are surfers and are very helpful concerning surf spots and equipment. It feels more like a lovely villa than a hotel or lodge.

Review 11：My brother and I recently booked a night at the Carcavelos Surf House and couldn't have asked for a better stay. Marta was the perfect host; she emailed us as soon as we'd made the booking with detailed instructions of how to find the place and a contact number just in case, she provided us with little iPod speakers for our room, bikes to ride to the beach (only 5mins away), a beach towel and she even offered us a backpack to carry our things safely on the bikes. The Surf House was very clean, the rooms very comfortable and there was a large spotless kitchen for guest use. Although the surf house is located close to the train tracks (which I initially thought would be a problem) this didn't effect our stay. It really was a home away from home. Thanks Marta!
