Reviews for Hotel Creusen
Review 1:Nothing
Review 2:Epen was a revelation lovely hotel in a lovely area. I wish I had brought my bicycle with me - many nice walks around hotel. Ideal for visiting Aachen horse show and Spa F1 GP.
Review 3:I was charged for the days I didn't stay and the Director who charged me wasn't helpful and he kept saying this is MY HoOTEL, very impolite man. The hotel isn't good for Arab people at all. Thr is no facilities for kids except pool, place is very dark at night hardly any lights after 10pm the place is scary. They haven't changed my bedding for the 5 days I stayed, thr aren't much staff except 2 or 3 peeople, breakfast no halal food and can't find anyone to ask even. This is the worst hotel I have ever been.never. Will comee back. I don't advice this place if u have kids.
Review 4:The view over the hills and pastures was beautiful. There is a big garden with some trees and places to sit and read outside. Also a terrace to drink/eat something The bed was even better then at home and we had AC, which we needed because the apartment was in full sun all day long so it was hot. It is very nicely furnished and of good quality. There is even a Nespresso coffeemaker! Now that is something in Europe! Even the capsules were delivered with it. Fully equipped kitchen. We had a lovely terrace and a big bathroom. We upgraded to this apartment because we found the room we booked to noisy because it was at the front of the hotel It is important that you book a room at the backside of the hotel because I find it very noisy at the front side although it was a small street! You also have a view
Review 5:This hotel was top class. Accommodation was first class. Staff were always ready to help and advise on the best places to visit. One of the best places I have stayed at.
Review 6:There was absolutely nothing to dislike about this hotel!
Review 7:From the minute we arrived we knew we had made a good choice for the duration of our stay. Friendly staff, very clean accommodation throughout, ideally located for both Valkenburg, Maastricht and Aachen Xmas Markets and reasonably priced. We even visited Monschau, a small German village recommended by the staff which was a great addition to our programmed visits. We will definitely be returning here when we return to the Netherlands on future trips. Well recommended 5/5 Stars!!!
Review 8:All aspects very good and excellent service
Review 9:Friendly, helpful and attentive staff. Superbly food. Excellent location.
Review 10:Super hotel, super staff and beautiful surroundings. Also being able to put the heating on in the bedroom and in the bathroom.
Review 11:Large comfortable room with balcony. Garden with lovely views. Excellent breakfast and evening meals.
Review 12:countryside view from room window
Review 13:Lack of time: we had only one nigth to stay there. We should go back asap.
Review 14:Values: friendly staff, indoor swimming pool, garden view, spacious room
Review 15:The contrast from busy cities, personable staff and amazing scenery.
Review 16:The indoor swimming pool was a bonus
Review 17:The pool was great and the rooms were clean and spacious, very nice place to stay!
Review 18:breakfast staff location
Review 19:I trust it is an old building so the isolation is not a strong point. You can hear movement and water flushing from the room above you or next door. Luckily it wasn't very late at night. So, no issue at all for us on this.
Review 20:The room is spacious, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The bathroom is spacious and modern. Very comfortable. The owner is very friendly and helpful. He has helped us a lot in providing us with walking tours route, map and has taken time advising us on the tour. The location is excellent as it is the middle of Epen and you can do the walking tours in all directions. Parking space is important to us as we like to park our car within the hotel area and it is free :-)
Review 21:For me only 2 meat options for diner, and only fries and salad with it. Small tv's (yes, my room had 2 sets) and analog system. Wifi was good in the room, but on the balcony sometimes not the best signal.
Review 22:I had junior suite (12) with excelent view from second floor with balcony to the hills. Good breakfast, everything you needed was present. They know their tea. Good parking place, very large garden with seats and sun-seats. Free paper in the morning to read in the large lounge with great seats. Next time I will definitely stay again in this hotel !!!!
Review 23:Restaurant closed at 8pm but that was normal for the area.
Review 24:Excellent modern spacious room, friendly staff, not big corporate hotel - quiet with individual attention.
Review 25:No tea/coffee in room, no children's menu.
Review 26:Swimming pool and sauna were great and the room was very comfortable especially the beds. The garden and surrounding countryside.
Review 27:Smell of chlorine in the hallway. Muzak pumped into the swimming pool area. No CNN or Disney channel.
Review 28:Friendly and helpful staff. Spacious, light and clean family suite. Swimming pool. Garden and recreation possibilities. Quiet. Parking facilities
Review 29:The heating (air-conditioner-based) did not work properly in the room. While the room was large, it was not attractively decorated, and thefurniture was outdated. In particular the bed was too old/too soft. The breakfast was acceptable, although there is only type of hot food(scrambled eggs) and very limited vegetables.
Review 30:The staff was courteous and professional. The hotel is equipped with avery nice and new swimming pool as well as sauna. The surrounding areais a true countryside.
Review 31:Our room next to staircase was a tick noisy when people passed by;secondly I booked a double incl breakfast, but had to pay for myson's breakfast. This should be clearer on the booking.com website
Review 32:Good quality and nice service
Review 33:Heating via aircon - it was difficult to get the room warm enough, wouldbe better to have central heating. Breakfast could be better with moreselection.
Review 34:Nicely decorated clean rooms (we were upgraded to a suite), goodfacilities, attentive staff.
Review 35:We liked the fantastic location, the friendlyness of the staff and theservice. I forgot my wallet in the hotel. And it was sent to myhomeadress immidiatly after my stay.
Review 36:...When we arrived we were given a different room with no nice view. After explaining this was not what we expected they offered us a goodoption. Beds (single) could not be changed. There was no possibility to make tea/coffee in the room
Review 37:We had a nice room, with good beds and bathroom. The view from the roomwas very nice (garden, hills). The standard breakfast is average, dietarrangements limited. Very good: walking paths directly from the hotel! We asked for a room with a nice view; they gave us a phonecall to explain which room would be best, and reserved that one for us. As we like double beds they also offered to arrange that.
Review 38:Probably the kitchen and breakfast opening times are short. Examplebreakfast starts at 8am...
Review 39:Very nice position. Epen is one of the best location to visit Dutch SudLimburg. The hotel is renovated, with nice swimming pool. Breakfast isgood. We had a room towards the main Epen street, but overnight we didnot hear any noise, also because the traffic is very limited there. Thehotel staff is very nice, they helped us for our bike storage, andprovided help and gears for the swimming pool for our son.
