Reviews for Arctic Tern Inn
Review 1:Noisy people outside all night.Main front door slams only two towels and one roll of toilet paper for four nights. We didn't request more! Room needs the floor registers replaced.
Review 2:The price was right. Lots of windows. Well lit at night. The room was clean.
Review 3:Some of the guests/tenants argued loudly in the early AM. Area was a bit run down. Doors and windows were not secure.
Review 4:Super staff. Shower and kitchen were good. Conveint location.
Review 5:The area was dodgier than we would like (single men roaming around outside, isolated feel); the room's temperature could not be adjusted, so stifling hot over night -- couldn't sleep, and didn't feel safe to leave the window open over the courtyard
Review 6:Poor wifi
Review 7:The thin girl on duty was very nice and helpful. Changed our room to a cleaner one and got us a microwave and a fan when she realized our needs.
Review 8:On the first floor unit, outsiders are able to access the unit through the open windows. Internet is very poor inside the unit, but pretty good in the lobby where the office is. No air-conditioning, so it was pretty hot in June, but fans can be provided by the office, which helped.
Review 9:It is a residential complex with daily, weekly and monthly rentals. On two non-consecutive nights, we were in different 2-bedroom units. The second slightly better than the first. Each unit had 2 queen beds, a sofa, a TV, a kitchen with no utensils. Four sets of clean towels were provided each time.
Review 10:No facecloths, cleanliness was doubtful, no AC and no screens on the windows. Windows could be accessed from the outside. This is actually is a low rent housing unit. We did not like staying there.
Review 11:It was in the Anchorage area is all I can say that was good about this
Review 12:things are so old they could be "retro" if it wasn't original. unfortunately the aroma was original, but a $2.00 box of baking soda fixed that
Review 13:the staff was very friendly, and quick to listen
Review 14:The shower was a little dirty, but if you go in with an open heart or a loved one (as I did) you will love it.
Review 15:The staff and customers were polite. They minded their own business and the rooms are nice, because it is set up like a hostel.
Review 16:Not a good place to stay. WiFi didnt worked. Not Clean. Our Room toilet was blocked around 5 am and Staff has to call maintenance guy it ruined our morning and sleep.
Review 17:Staff is good and try to help us in the best way possible.
Review 18:People live there and get drunk and loud. Is a no smoking facility but people smoke right under the only window that opens in the room, so smoke blows in. No air conditioning for room. Phone did not work. No chair in the room to sit on. Highway noise even with the window closed , had to drown it out with the television.
