Review 1：The rooms are spacious and nicely arranged. The beds were very comfortable, and the breakfast was the best I've seen at a free buffet.The hotel is on Lake Superior and some rooms have great lake views.

The manager told me she was putting me in the same room for the same price and we ended up in a completely different room and I was charged more money than I had originally planned on. On top of that when we checked out the same manager did not even acknowledge us or ask how our stay was.
Review 13：Could hear guests above, below, and outside of door. Very noisy. Also, lacking cleanliness. Found several hairs throughout the room. There's a reason this hotel is considerably cheaper than the others in canal park. Good value, mediocre 'building.'

Review 20：I called to book the room and the same room was listed online for hundreds of dollars cheaper. When I asked the person on the phone to honor the online price she told me we could negotiate the price upon my arrival. I told her to never mind, that I'd book my stay online.

Review 28：my mom, sister and I go to Duluth every year for a girls get away. This is the first time staying at Comfort Suites. We loved sitting on the balcony, watching the people and horse and buggies go by and chatting. We were street side so we also got a great view of the lift bridge. Lots of fun!
Review 29：The room was not very well insulated. I woke up to screaming teenagers running up and down the hall at night and again in the morning to our neighbor talking - and that was with earplugs in.

Review 31：Having stayed there several times, I noticed that somethings need updating. The curtains especially. Also, the beds were poorly made. I am a lover of tight fitting sheets and this time they were loose and poorly tucked in. It did not detract from the comfort of the bed, but didn't look too inviting.

Review 35：It's easy to hear people in the hallway through the door as they are walking past or standing and chatting. You often feel as though you are a part of a conversation you're not a part of or hear plans of staff as they go about their daily tasks.
Review 36：We loved the view and comfortable beds. The location is so wonderful if you love the bridge and ships passing through. It's nice to hop on the boardwalk and walk or run anywhere, or to relax on the patio and just enjoy the lake.
