This bed and breakfast is located 25 minutes from Torre, the highest point in Portugal’s Serra da Estrela mountain range. It offers panoramic views of the Zêzere glacial valley from rooms and the covered terrace.
All of the traditionally furnished rooms include a wooden floor, TV and central heating. Each has a private bathroom.
A daily continental breakfast is served from local fresh products. The lively Granittus Bar has mood lighting and a separate games room with billiard table.
Hiking and mountain bike trails are located in the surrounding area. Poço do Inferno Waterfall is a 5-minute drive away.

Review 1：First night was very cold in my room, this was explained to me, and further 2 nights were ok.
Review 2：Good location for visiting the natural park (for photography), for the town, for restaurants. The bar in the hotel was popular on Friday night, and was a nice place to be.
Review 3：The owners are great and welcoming. They know the area really well and make you feel at home. The location is perfect as well and I just can't wait to go back again.

Tomar is a very appealing little town. Loved the castle, mediaeval bar on the town square is excellent if you need a real ale and a proper pie

The hotel claimed they serve typical products from the region but in fact what we got every morning were 2 rolls, long-lasting milk, watery coffee and sliced cheese from the supermarket. The bed was horribly soft, there was no soap in the bathroom, no fridge in the room.down at the bar people were singing and screaming until 3 or 4 am EVERY night,so we had to sleep with earplugs.ah, and the floor was not very clean

Review 29：This place is great value. Room was clean, the bed quite comfortable and the hotel has friendly owners. The price includes a great (continental) breakfast. Manteigas is an excellent base for exploring Serra da Estrela national park.
