Review 1：Very clean, comfortable room with balcony, good breakfast. Severalwalking trails start directly from the hotel, one of them is leading tothe famous Poço do Inferno.

Review 2：Breakfast is quite poor. The breakfast hall does not look comfortless: just to eat something and get away.

Review 3：The place is nice to stop for a night in a long way (but we would not stay longer). Clean and quiet. One of the hiking routes starts nearby. Good view to mountains and Manteigas village from a small terrace.

Review 4：Clean room, a really stunning view from the room and own terrace to up to the Manteigas village. A Really nice 15 km long hiking trail (wild bear's trail) started nearby the hotel. Staff was really nice and helpful.

Review 14：Very nice and inexpensive hotel just outside Manteigas. Large rooms with excellent facilities and a balkony. The hotel's restaurant is excellent and serves tasty local specialties.

Review 20：We stayed in this Hotel for 2 day but wish we stay longer. The place where hotel is located is charming. Beautiful nature. Peace and quiete. Staff of the hotel is careful and hospitable. You feel like they do everything only for you. Choose this place and you wont regret!

Review 21：Coffee at breakfast was not very good. We ate dinner there and had the goat stew, but it was full of bone shards that were small and sharp making it impossible to eat. I do not recommend the restaurant.

Review 22：The hotel is small but in great shape and with new furniture. The rooms are comfortable and big, with nice views of the town and good quiet air conditioning. The breakfast is decent, with the exception of the coffee. The family that runs the hotel is very nice. They don't speak English.

Review 53：The owner was very friendly and did his best to make our stay as nice as ever. We were originally booked in a room that had a balcony that faced the back of the hotel. We asked if there was the availability of another room that faced the village and he went out of his way to make the necessary changes. The restaurant is closed on Tuesday for dinner. He offered to drive us into the village to another restaurant.

Review 55：It's a nice new hotel. the room was nice and large with a small balcony. Good food and good location. If you eat dinner be aware that the dessert buffet is 3.50 EU per person but it was delicious.

Review 57：This place was a very pleasant surprise. When I arrived the restaurant was doing a roaring trade for lunch. I suspect many of the clientele were locals, which, in itself, is positive testimony. My room was a good size, with aircon and TV. The bathroom was modern and large, the shower was very large with a huge shower rose. Modern decor throughout the Hotel. I thoroughly recommend Hotel Vale do Zezere.
