Reviews for Bc Spa Hotel

Review 1:food on evening meals needs more variety of starter etc but very well cooked

Review 2:great food, yummy and huge breakfast, fab pools, lovely rooms i think the double rooms aver dry spacious. worth the money and great location - go get a spa treatment it is devine

Review 3:my wife is visually impaired and some thoughtless guests moved the sunbeds to very selfish positions which were dangerous for her

Review 4:the location of the hotel is perfect as it is next to the river with only a short walk to the main village -- also the turkish bath and massage facilities are well worth using

Review 5:nothing for little kids to do and kind of same food each day on half board. take mossy spray

Review 6:great location, super rooms and comfy beds, great pools but very deep if you not a swimmer. great bar food at good prices and happy friendly staff and a fab spa underneath

Review 7:Being charged for using the indoor pool for ten minutes as a guest of the hotel.

Review 8:I could not fault this hotel, facilities, food or staff. I felt comfortable on my own and I choose the half board option which was excellent value for money. I will be returning next year with friends.

Review 9:Bed cover on double bed far too small to cover two people. Would benefit from providing tea/coffee making facilities in rooms for early morning/late night hot drinks.

Review 10:Rooms/Suites being around pool, close to hotel restaurant, friendly staff and the quiet relaxed atmosphere. Excellent value for money.

Review 11:Could do with tea coffee facilities in room Extra blanket as one supplied does not cover 2 people

Review 12:Everything was excellent staff very friendly and helpful nothing was to much Spa facilities very good

Review 13:The whole experience made for a very peaceful and relaxing holiday. The rooms were spotlessly clean and towels were changed daily. Great pool areaand plenty of sun beds with gentle music playing in the background. We stayed B&B and there was a lovely buffet selection but you could also order pancakes and omelettes.all of which could be enjoyed sat beside the beautiful.river Dalyan.

Review 14:During predicted bad weather the hotel should have had facility to provide hot water - there was none! My daughter's room had a jacuzzi which hadn't been cleaned, it was Sunday so naturally the staff had gone home. On the second time of asking I managed to get some cleaning products brought to the room and offered to clean it myself. Only after pouring the product into the jacuzzi did I notice it was for cleaning parqui flooring! In a hotel of this size I would have expected free use of toiletries and slippers for a cold tiled floor. There were 3 samples labelled 'shampoo', no shower gel or conditioner. Requests initially went unattended to; a visit to reception got bottles that were being refilled from a water bottle of a substance that I couldn't verify was actually the products requested. Hotel staff (apart from a few) seemed amateurish to say the least.

Review 15:Location was perfect, the place is very pretty with several pools. Although there was a spa we didn't get to use it as we only stayed two days.

Review 16:poor reception staff due to being shown to wrong room was asked to move to another roof 3hrs after unpacking. The second room developed a bad drain smell during the first night? which was quickly sorted next morning

Review 17:the closeness to Dayan town, peaceful ,plenty of sun beds good free spa facilities.

Review 18:Grumpy arrogant and rude staff from the chef to manager apart from the cleaners. Litter in the water fall area. Being asked for cash when extra time in room required

Review 19:View from balcony

Review 20:The fact that the final room rate worked out to be more expensive on check out than when we asked about it initially. Euro fluctuations shouldn't come into it.

Review 21:Worst room overlooking Rubbish area at rear. Rooms cleaned too late - sometimes 1600/1700hrs. Breakfast poor. Bar staff poor. No late checkout available.

Review 22:On the river.

Review 23:The pool area was fantastic-nice temperature and good bar area. The food was very good whenever we ordered it for lunch. Great setting by the river with views of the mountains. Good proximity to the centre of town.

Review 24:The spa facilities - I arrived in need of TLC. Booked in for their package with a massage and facial. Left feeling like I had been on holiday for 2 weeks. My bf was concerned as the whole thing took 2.5 luxurious hours and he didn't think I was coming back. Hotel is super clean with two pools and has amazing views of the ruins and mountains. Breakfast is standard turkish but yummy. Was a perfect start to our tour!

Review 25:Breakfast was a bit "samey" by the end of ten days but the quality of food was excellent and the dishes were regularly replenished.

Review 26:The location of the hotel is amazing with views over the river and a magnificent vista whilst eating breakfast! Facilities were excellent with spacious rooms and a lovely balcony area.

Review 27:Just a couple of little things, no view at all from the room just a fence so it was very dark couldn't really use it during the day. No iron is available to borrow had to buy one. Staff could be a little more welcoming didn't know what to do at breakfast or what cooked breakfast was available and the constant music at the bar/pool was a bit annoying at times but really these are minor things it's a brilliant hotel and I would definitely stay again :-)

Review 28:Perfect location, spa turkish massage was amazing, pool was lovely so was the food in the restaurant and it was very reasonably priced too. We really enjoyed our holiday here and would definitely come back!

Review 29:Breakfast could be a little better, especially more variety of fruit juices

Review 30:The spa is amazing, nice swimming pool downstairs, great massage treatments. the location is beautiful, yet walking distance to bustling city centre. 2 outdoor swimming pools. rooms clean and big,. This definitely is the best hotel in Dalyan

Review 31:The hotel staff is not qualified at all. Some of them are friendly, especially Ismet at the reception. One of the receptionists gave us a very rude welcoming. All in all service is poor. When asking for a lighter they told us to go to the shops and buy one. Breakfast is ok, but although starting at 8, at 8.15 still not completely ready.

Review 32:The hotel is beautifully located, architectural design is great.

Review 33:Wasp coming into room wasp nest in the wood had to complain never came straight away came next day no sleep as frightened to sleep maintaince man came drilled holes in wood filled them with filler he said it was bad I feel we should of been changed room . Pictures added to show where wasps were getting in showing filler they used to try and stop them. No apology was given could not move us.

Review 34:Good location cleaner of room very friendly

Review 35:Staff could have been more chatty and approachable

Review 36:The setting and hotel was beautiful and the appartment was very clean. A fantastic hotel to have a relaxing time in!

Review 37:Food very average. Had the worst Caesar salad I have ever been served. The chef's take on this classic is one to be missed. Staff not as friendly as most of the other service provides we met in Dalyan. They could definitely do with some customer training.

Review 38:Lovely location on river and close but not too close to town. pool nice but could do with some greenery/soft edges around.

Review 39:breakfast is pretty bad. restaurant was hot inside and full of bees outside. Wi-fi wasn't working in the room. TV was messed up.

Review 40:pools are nice. pool side service is good. buildings were cool. location was good.

Review 41:Reception staff rude and unprofessional. I had to pay again on my credit card as I was told no money was taken. Still have to call my credit card people. Also the chap said they are not sure people will turn up so hence no money was charged. A load of bull - if someone doesn`t turn up its their loss. Everyone is hard and unfriendly . They need to be retrained. With such a beautiful place they are sitting on a goldmine

Review 42:Good position and nice place.

Review 43:What a surprisingly nice and beautiful place for that amount of money. And the location is very good, right by the river with a great looking mountain on the other side.

Review 44:Was offered a free Turkish bath when booked with Booking.com but the hotel didn't honour this. Real fruit juice and water should be included with price for breakfast.

Review 45:Great location.

Review 46:The wifi wasn't great in our rooms -- but it was better in the common areas.

Review 47:We loved the BC Spa hotel. It's a pretty property; the buildings are attractive but unobtrusive, and the scenery is spectacular -- it's right by the river, so you have a cliff face across the way, and mountains out in the distance. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The hotel restaurant and bar was tasty, accommodating, and friendly.

Review 48:It would have been a big help to have a kettle in the room or access to boiling water. There was little fresh fruit or fresh juice available at breakfast.

Review 49:The accomodation was clean the staff friendly and location excellent. We had half board and the food was value for money.

Review 50:No pool or spa facilities available due to major building works inside and out. If we had known, we would not have stayed somewhere without indoor facilities during wet winter period.

Review 51:Staff were friendly and rooms clean

Review 52:Disliked paying for a spa hotel when the actual spa part is often turned off owing to it being out of season in mid-October. Had to ask on two occasions for there to be steam in the steam room and was annoyed that they wouldn't heat up the Turkish baths so we could lay on hot marble like every other hamam I've been to, saying the heat comes from the sauna/steam room, which is incorrect. I understand the lack of heat is to economise but they're in danger of making this a false economy as people won't come back to the hotel for their spa treatment.

Review 53:Beautiful poolside view and relaxing environment. Good service. Helped to support our needs with an 11-month-old baby.

Review 54:It is not possible to open any window in the room, therefore the air inside the room gets very 'dirty'. For someone with allergies/asthma or someone who just likes to sleep with fresh air...I do not recommend this hotel.

Review 55:The facilities are great, hamam, pools, etc! Also mountain sight is nice :)

Review 56:the breakfast was incredibly poor quality and covered in flies and wasps. Our bathroom stank of sewerage, we complained and nothing was done about it, it was nauseating.

Review 57:the facilities are good, it's very central.

Review 58:If you can afford an upgrade do it!! No kettle,The hotel is beautiful but needs to keep up with general maintenance of sun beds and tidiness before it gets worse please.

Review 59:We have stayed in Dalyan 4 times now and this was the best accommodation by far, the location by the river is excellent and views to die for so relaxing and we haven't spoke about the on site spa and gym/indoor swimming pool. The lunchtime food is very good but didn't eat there at night so many restaurants and bars in town to choose from. We would highly recommend stay in the honeymoon suite it was great for extra room and jacuzzi. We would like to thank the owners Kabir and Aysun for a lovely stay, they even took us to the airport, looking forward to staying again in our fav room.

Review 60:In the bathroom there was an extremely bad smell of the sewer from the outset, we raised this with the hotel, who said that they would look into it but there was no change. Also we travelled around Turkey, staying in various places and the breakfast and food in general here was the worst in terms of quality food, it was terrible.

Review 61:the room and facilities were comfortable, location was convenient. The spa was good also.

Review 62:- A bit slap dash with the cleaning in the dining room. - No light / lamp next to the bed. (These are small things). - Also, I wouldn't go full board as I had the meal offered to full board guests on the first night and it wasn't the best.

Review 63:- The location - The on-site spa with gym and hamam - The pool (indoor and outdoor) - Breakfast - Turkish buffet. - The bar and the availability of bar snacks all day. - My room - clean and comfortable with a good shower.

Review 64:Keeps getting bigger - too many sunbeds around pool/outside guests reserving sunbeds!! - lost its sparkle. Some staff not attempting to communicate with guests - what a shame

Review 65:Great location with excellent spa facilities. Attractive rooms and pools.

Review 66:Building works, which I believe should have been mentioned; original room tiny and very dark with views of building works; wifi reception very patchy at the back of the hotel where my room was; breakfast selection OK but they could do with domes to cover the food as flies were plentiful; room not cleaned every day

Review 67:The manageress was helpful; after a poor start with a balcony next to building works my new room was lovely; pool and public areas were very clean; sunbeds were comfortable and plentiful; position near town but on the river was excellent; spa is lovely

Review 68:Recently added double rooms which the hotel refer to as "budget" or "promo" but on Booking.com are called "standard" are so small that there is hardly room to walk around the bed. Lighting is very poor in the rooms, ladies be warned! The hotel had sold about 50% of the rooms through Groupon offers in both UK and Turkey which was a real shock to those who had paid full price. Staff were surly and the pool areas were not tidied or cleaned regularly.

Review 69:Spacious balcony.

Review 70:There was no WiFi in the room or the patio, although it is written that it is available at all areas. Didn't particularly like the staff.

Review 71:I liked the location of the hotel as it is directly on the river, very close to the center ans public transport. Hotel is very pleasant and facilities are good.

Review 72:There was no clear towels There was no placed shampoo, soap, etc. Blow dryer was not working and unfortunately they were not solved problem. unacceptable staff attitude

Review 73:The manager (lady) could have been more friendly and a welcoming smile. She was curt.

Review 74:Excellent location. Great Spa. Very well laid out. Great place to relax.

Review 75:Spa didn't have an operating jacuzzi. Massage packages were only provided by men.

Review 76:This is the best hotel in the area compared to other same level hotels in terms of amenities, location and restaurant services.

Review 77:Closeness to main town areas; helpful staff

Review 78:Music around pool to loud. Dogs by tables at meal times .mould in shower tray room shower.

Review 79:The setting was outstanding

Review 80:Air con was a little tired.

Review 81:Staff all very friendly bar a breakfast waiter.

Review 82:Location, facilities, spa and pool.

Review 83:too short time for holiday

Review 84:location

Review 85:We didn't have any wifi in our room.

Review 86:The pools and the availability to take a shower even after check-out.

Review 87:No electricity during the day in the room.

Review 88:The friendly relaxed atmosphere of the hotel and spa facilities.

Review 89:Great location. Good spa facilities.

Review 90:Very helpful and kind staff. Big and comfortable room.

Review 91:Could do with a little more choice at breakfast. Only hot food at breakfast was eggs and cheese pie

Review 92:Chilled place

Review 93:Do not go if its not the season!!

Review 94:Great for relaxation

Review 95:No slippers in the room

Review 96:Very special architecture and location, cleanliness.

Review 97:Breakfast in the outside area, there were flies everywhere.

Review 98:The view was amazing. It rained while we there but it was still comfortable and beautiful.

Review 99:Nothing!

Review 100:Great facilities. Wonderful Turkish bath and massage. Have been coming to Dalyan every year since 2008 and have many Turkish friends there.

Review 101:Nothing

Review 102:Location was close to restaurants and bars yet distant enough to be peaceful. Staff were always smiling and helpful. Spa and pool were great.

Review 103:This spa was lovely

Review 104:breakfast, room cleaning service

Review 105:location, design

Review 106:Wish the staff speaks more english

Review 107:Location the room the food the spa

Review 108:i thoroughly enjoyed my stay

Review 109:There wasn't any hot water from the showers in the whole duration of our stay.

Review 110:Insects around the food at breakfast

Review 111:Fantastic location, friendly staff, good value, great place to relax

Review 112:Food ... no indoor bar or restaurant .. no communal socialising area

Review 113:Pool... location .... staff

Review 114:Breakfast was very average and not really up to the standard of the rest of the hotel

Review 115:Very good facilities and near to town but far enough away to be out of the way.

Review 116:Breakfast was quite limited but I think this was the case as it was only the start of the season and there weren't many guests.

Review 117:Good quite location right by the river but still near to al the restaurants and shops. Lovely staff, were so welcoming and completely spoilt our 19 mth old son,(Turkish people love children). Very nice facilities, spa and good size chalets. Although steps a bit dangerous for young children...

Review 118:Poor breakfast compared to other places in Turkey. Don't arrange airport transport through the hotel! The car was dirty, dusty and smelly and the driver not very helpful plus he smelled of alcohol (at 7am!) A taxi would have been cheaper but since it was an early flight we thought we'd rather arrange it through the hotel - next time we'd definitely opt for a taxi!!!

Review 119:Beautiful pool with salty water. Gorgeous! Wonderful hamam facilities.

Review 120:The rooms are a bit dim (but the management kindly lent me a side lamp during my stay) and another rubbish bin would have been convenient (only one in the bathroom).

Review 121:My husband and I spent a week at the BC Spa hotel during the Easter holidays. We had a lovely time at the hotel and felt very at home. The staff tried really hard to make our stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible. The hotel manageress, Nabia was so helpful and patient and so were all her male colleagues at reception and at the breakfast room. Kabir, the owner, was/is always around to make sure that everything is fine, from dawn to dusk, and we even exchanged conversation on few occasions in our respective language even if I did not speak Turkish and he did not speak English! The Spa is the main attraction with fantastic facilities and the Turkish massage is highly recommended. You come out of the hamam so rested and happy that you look forward to your next session. The indoor pool wall is beautifully decorated with mosaics and the outdoor pool is filled with fresh sea water. Both pools are cleaned everyday. The Internet is extremely efficient in all parts of the complex and my husband, although on holiday, managed to work during his stay. Breakfast is a lovely traditional Turkish one with olives, Turkish cheese, fresh bread, halva, lovely jams etc.. Because the hotel is located 5 mn away from Dalia town centre, with many shops and cafes/restaurants we never ate in the premises but the hotel does provide evening meals (not sure about lunches). A very homely and lovely place to return to, highly recommended.

Review 122:Unfortunately being the beginning of the season the indoor pool and jacuzzis were not warm enough to fully enjoy.

Review 123:Being the beginning of the season we appreciated the hotel not being busy and the staff being very friendly and helpful.

Review 124:The rooms are very poorly lit and the complex at night is dark I had to use a torch to open our door as I could not see the lock. Also if you are afraid of cats it is a problem as they are every where.

Review 125:The spa and indoor pool was very nice. The evening meals were very good but only if they do buffet otherwise the options are very limited.Breakfast was also good. The location and parking is very good as it is only a 5min stroll to the shops and restaurants.

Review 126:Disappointed not quite up to 4 star standard..not tea/coffe available in rooms, slippers or robe for spar use! This Hotel is open all year but definitely not designed for wet weather! After a rain storm all outside areas were flooded! Ad no covered walk ways to the restaurant or sufficient outdoor lighting.

Review 127:Location very good. Staff excellent and helpful at all times. Very clean and comfortable rooms...also outside areas. Quiet and relaxing environment. Food excellent value.

Review 128:Very quick to remove breakfast buffet @ 10 am prompt, don't be late!

Review 129:Best spa facilities in town and good location close to centre. Nice to have breakfast next to the riverside.

Review 130:can't think of anything. maybe it was hard to see lots of stray dogs and cats.

Review 131:everything. It was one of my best holidays. hotel, food, room, and staff, were fantastic. will be going back there next year.

Review 132:My partner and I did not have a great time here and it was one main fundamental reason which I'm passing on in case anyone is booking for the following reasons so your not a little disappointed .. The hotel has this wonderful looking pool,(and spa, massage) big great and we paid the extra dollars to stay here over anywhere else for that reason. However we were placed in the older section of the hotel (where they're renovating and the previous, smaller pool they used to have is drained and not in use). So you have this massive hotel for heaps of people and one large (not large enough) pool. We didn't get to lay by the pool once! And got one swim after 6pm when i cleared up.We also checked out the spa but it stunk of chlorine and my boyfriend wasn't happy to get a massage from a guy( not sure if this is an issue for other blokes) so we bailed. Lastly, my partner who's 6"1 had to bend his head at times because if you're in one of the upstairs rooms the roofs curve.anyways for these reasons we didn't like this place and I wouldn't go back and if they might be relevant to you I'd suggest staying elsewhere, I wish we did because pool and spa which were selling points for us we didn't get to make the most of!! On a side note but not of main concern, breakfast wasn't great and staff didn't have the best English. I had to use my Turkish mostly

Review 133:Good location and clean rooms

Review 134:But the half pension give you access to a very small choice and the breakfast is cheap. In addition , the cleaning of the room is done only every 2 days. Which is not acceptable for an hotel of this category.

Review 135:The location and the hotel commodities are nice
