Review 1：Everything!! It is our #1 choice for a hotel in Anchorage--convenient to airport, lovely lake with float plane activity, and easy commute to downtown and beyond.

Review 2：Came in late. No place to get water. Vending machines only had sodaand juice.

Review 3：The location was very close to the airport on lake hood. Decor wasgreat. 5$ cab ride.

Review 4：No morning shuttle to airport. They called an orange cab that nevercame. I eventually took a yellow cab sitting out front of hotel. Ialmost missed my flight. Attendents in cack watching tv not givingattention to desk. They looked put out to have to stand up.

Review 6：Clerk upon checking in our clerk said we could get a shuttle thefollowing morning @ 5:30 to be at airport prior to 6am. The next morningwhen we arrived @ 5:20 am we were told he had already departed. Shecalled the shuttle driver who yelled at her and told her no one whoworks at this hotel told them 5:30...okay then. What an extremely rudeman. Even the clerk was taken by surprise. Two different clerks we dealtwith but communication seems to be lacking. Except in the shuttledrivers world. He should not work with people or switch to a prison typeoccupation.

Review 7：It was very expensive for having no TV to watch. We were very tired from traveling and all we wanted to do was lay down relax and watch TV we had to get up at 3 o'clock. When we found out the TV wasn't working we tried to call the front desk only to find the cord was missing to the phone. It was just a phone sitting there plugged into nothing. We had to walk so far to the elevator just to go down to the desk and tell them. They told me that he was out everywhere well they never told us that when we checked in because we would've went next-door to the cheaper hotel and stay there if you were going to have a TV. It was ridiculous. The front desk said they would try to give us some of our money back but they never even contacted us we knew it was a lie. They got the TV on for about an hour and it started breaking up and going out again. So we just turned it off.

Review 11：The hallways were very stinky and dirty walking to the rooms. The wifi would not connect but the front desk was helpful and had it reset and then it worked, The price seemed too high for a rundown, loud elevator and unkempt hallways. I requested a room with a view and was told "we don't have any view rooms".

Review 12：Wonderful breakfast in the restaurant with a view of the lake and seaplanes. The room was clean and comfortable.

Review 13：The room thermostat didn't cool the room very effectively. The air conditioner in the window is blocked by the heavy drapes needed to keep the sun out.

It was a real hike...A temporary situation but you had to plan well or you spent the whole day just getting out of the hotel...

Review 36：I can't say enough about the wonderful staff at this hotel. Everyone greeted me with a smile and they were more than willing to assist with any little thing I needed. The food and entertainment was also a favorite.

Review 37：Customers should be warned that workers don't adhere to normal hours. Uncomfortable desk chair only seat in the room. safe not working. Worst stay in 20 years and when complained to desk didn't even get a "Sorry" Next year staying anywhere else!

Review 51：The Star rating on this old run down Hotel is Wrong.Door knobs missing, dirty carpets rolling up in the hallway,broken electrical cover,mold and dirt on window sill,wallpaper torn and peeling,corner molding buckling,all rooms need painting,we had to call the maintenance two or three times to close our window since the crank was broken. Paying the same Price for this hotel as we did for Pan Pacific is Highway robbery..They claim they started to fix there rooms,so far one room is done.If you don t believe me I have Pictures to back me up.I fell bad because I recommended this place to my friends that was travelling with me..
