Review 1:I had to leave and go home and didn'hit the jackpot. I did not have a good view from my room. However we till a good time.
Review 2:Close to everything you need and reasonable in pricing. Food was superb.
Review 3:Due to a repair of a water pipe, we were unable to shower the next morning because the water was still brown. Therefore, our stay was somewhat uncomfortable.

Review 5:The chair fabric and the menu cover were soiled and worn. The shower tile and nozzle were so worn, they appeared to be dirty. We asked an employee about them and received absolutely no response or action. Surprised at the AAA 4 diamond rating with these conditions. The common areas of the hotel are quite beautiful, but the room we had needs updating. Wish I had taken pictures.

Review 7:Couldn't order food when I wanted to, they closed down at a certain time and over the weekends.
Review 8:The location of the hotel was nice and room service that I had one day was good and nicely prepared.
Review 9:I called to tell the front desk my room smelled like urine. They did absolutely nothing about it although they stated they would call me back. I bought Lysol to spray and upon waking up the room was worse. It also appeared someone had been in there before us and decided not to stay because there was candy wrappers on the desk and in the bathroom.

Review 11:I stayed for two nights and my room was never cleaned . I was surprised but I did not complain because I had received such a nice welcome on arrival.
Review 12:I arrived late and called to let the hotel know I was coming around 11 pm. The lady I spoke with on the phone was so pleasant it made me feel better due to a circumstance I was facing. Thank you for good hospitality.

Review 14:The rooms were super clean and the staff were very friendly. My husbands holiday was catered in the ballroom, it was fantastic!
Review 15:I was surprised that the Hotel didn't validate my parking ticket. I told the young lady at the front desk that Toppers Spa validates, but I guess since they are two separate entities that's the difference.
Review 16:Everyone was so nice to us. It was our first over nite stay there. We Valet parked and the drivers were ALL very pleasant. One of the older drivers was as sweet as he could be. I did not get his name but he was sooo kind to us. I would definety come back to stay again. We felt like we were hundreds of miles away from home and we only live in Newark, DE?
Review 17:One downside was the very limited room service menu at 10:00 pm. For such a major hotel, room service options should be more expansive.
Review 18:After we booked through Booking.com, we received an upgrade to a spa suite at check-in. The suite was incredible and very comfortable.

Review 29:The staff are obviously under paid and overworked. I could not beleive the dealers rarely got a break, the dealers and pit bosses were the same people monday morning as sunday evening. From the bar tender, dealers, pit boses, security staff and hotel clerks. Consequently the overall attitude of the staff seemed one of apathy and disinterest. We were rarely greeted with enthusiasm and on several occasions were not even acknowledged. Overall, the hotel/casino did not seem like a "happy place" to visit let alone work at. Unfortunately my wife and I will most likely not be returning.

The casino floor had a mildew smell to it . cannot bet Frankis Resturant price service food was absolutely outstanding. Will go back when horse racing is on cause the casino is not enough to do unless you are a big gambler

Review 49:The person doing audio-visual assistance was basically useless. I asked for specific help, he came (Anthony?) and just shrugged his shoulders at our issues. We had a difficult time with the audio and the room was poorly set up for the type of meeting we had. waitress in italian restaurant was awful.

Review 53:TV didn't work had to wait and get another one. Shower wasn't very good. Check out isn't until noon but maids trying to enter room at 0 am when there is a do not disturb sign on the door handle. I stayed 2 days earlier and had a great stay so I figured I would surprise my twin boys with a great stay and it ended up being a little disappointing. Also I asked for room over looking the horse track but no luck. Last thing your phone customer service employees need better training.
Review 54:The price was commensurate with the value. I would not have paid the usual price. The bars and restaurants were excellent but needed another eatery with personality.

Review 62:Not the cleanest hotel. The bathroom floor still had hair from another guest, chair in room was pretty badly soiled, and carpet looking pretty sad. The bed sheets were clean though. The gym was filthy.

Review 81:Even though my wife and I had no problems we were both quite disappointed of how old the hotel and rooms looked inside. We both figured that this being a hotel and casino along with racing fans of all types would keep with up with times and stay on top of things and keep everything updated especially for the price.

Review 94:Customer service was poor. The front desk clerk was not welcoming or friendly. In the morning, I attempted have valet bring my car around, as I was headed down. The Concierge told me that that was not possible - that I had to come to the booth down stair and wait for them to get car, which obviously diminishes the convenience of valet parking. When I explained that “bringing a car up so that is already there when the customer arrives” is how valeting works, he responded that “he would see what he could do”. When I arrived downstairs, the car was upfront but no one was there, so I went to the booth. The clerk there gave me the "1-minute" finger; while she continued to eat and drink. She then told me that I needed to wait for the other valet to return. I asked if she was sure that my key was not back there since my car was already upfront, she said she was sure. Of course when the other valet returned, he had to go back to the booth to get the key. With employees like this, there is no wonder Dover Downs is losing money.

Review 109:*The girls at the front desk didn't care if we had issues. * The first room had food in the refrig. *The sencond room bed comforter had a stain on it. *Hosekeep came in and bag our things when we put a donot distrub on our door. Our issue was if it look as though something is left and you aren't sure if a person has checked out or not then you need to call front desk and ask! We came from gambling and we were shocked to find our thing gone.
