Review 1：Rooms tend to get cold. Bansko in early Jan gets temperatures of below -10 C. Window seals in Lucky are not airproof and cold leaked into the room. We stayed in room 301. It's a point for them to solve primarily for guest's comfort but also for sake of their energy management. A lot of energy leaks into the environment this way.

Review 2：Hotel is nice. Probably the best in Bansko. Their official 5 star rating is definitely overrated but this is a solid 4 stars hotel, at least based on our experience (5 stars is like Four Seasons and Lucky is nowhere close to that). Very nice staff. They care to improve everything which is great as an attitude. Clean, with great service, nice SPA, quiet rooms, great beds for a good night sleep.

Review 4：Loved the room and service. Little touches like turn your bed down and put a chocolate. The pool spa is lovely and breakfast great. Courtesy bus too. Kids club fantastic.

Review 19：As a hospitality professional my expectations for hotels are quite high. Traveling alone with 3 little kids I was extremely pleased with the service and products the hotel had to offer. It fitted our needs so well that we extended our stay from the original 2 to 5 nights. Comfortable rooms, great breakfast and warm and friendly staff just to highlight a few... The personal attention to detail displayed by some staff members is highly commendable!

Review 22：I found it a little ridiculous and cheap to charge for coffee pods and tea bags in the room. Most hotels offer at least one coffee or tea complimentary in-room.

Review 23：We stayed late in the season so we had the hotel and Bansko itself (!) pretty much all to ourselves. The staff was always helpful, the room was comfortable and spacious and we were given a free upgrade to a larger room which was especially appreciated. We also got a complimentary bottle of nice Bulgarian red wine! The breakfast was good and ample. The shuttle to the gondola was frequent, on-time and the drivers were very kind and helpful. We didn't use the spa or the pool. The hotel has a ski/boot storage room which is great and they offer very affordable packed lunches for taking to the slopes. Kids appreciated games and pool table for fun. The Bistro restaurant is good though not great and is fine if you can't be bothered to go out for dinner after a long skiing day. The room service is affordable enough to make it an option too for a change! Very nice Occitane toiletries! All-in-all the hotel is good value for what you pay.

Review 24：The only small drawback is that is it's a 20minute walk from many of the restaurants and the ski gondolas. This is not a huge issue as a free shuttle bus runs from the hotel to the gondolas/town centre and back regularly. I think this is common practice for most of the hotels.

Review 25：Very helpful staff. Money has clearly been invested in the hotel. Great high spec facilities (even for children). Comfortable bed. Good value for money. Food is a fair price. Leonardos restaurant opposite (owned by the hotel) is exceptional.

Review 26：The garbage can under the sink in the kitchen, was not emptied for two days. Probably just forgotten. The spa is relatively small and easily overcrowded!

Review 27：The hotel is spotless clean, they tide up your room twice daily, and leave a nice "milka" chocolate as a little treat. The food was very good, lots of fresh fruits and vegetables for breakfast and the stuff at the restaurant was very polite. We had dinner at the same restoration ( My bistro) which was very nice and the prices were decent.

The arcade machines(coin op) in the hotel were expensive (1 euro per game, or 2 leva) and games only lasted a few moments at best no matter how good you were. Cleaners came by every day. TV was large and had a lot of channels. Free WiFi. Free pool table (but just 1 for the whole hotel, so if it is busy...better forget about it). Location is fine, you need to walk 5 minutes (or get hotel's free shuttle) to the city centre. Free parking for your car. Friendly staff.

Review 45：The backyard of our room was dirty.. It was a room for people who have dogs. Ok I accept that. But I saw a lot of dog poops from other dogs residents.. They must clean it more often. I was cleaning every time my dog poops so I leave it clean..

Review 111：The apartment was smaller than we expected. The bathroom lacked basic shelves (no place to put a soap or a shampoo) in the shower and had no bidet. The duct in the shower was clogged and the bathroom got flooded every time we took a shower. The carpet was very dirty and so was the sofa, with big stains on both of them. On the ground in front of the lift the plates of the room service stayed for days with the leftovers inside, without anybody taking them away. We tried the Italian restaurant Leonardo and were not satisfied at all - the food was no prepared according to Italian standards and moreover we were charged twice - our payment with a card was denied and we paid cash, but then the same sum was deducted from our bank account. If we have to go back to Bansko we'll try another place.

Review 112：We liked the friendliness and the professionalism of the staff. The food in the restaurant Le Bistrot was also very good. We liked the spa and the pool, the massages too. The hotel is at 10 minutes walk from the center of Bansko and is very close to the exit of the village.The kitchenette was equipped with all you might need to cook - plates, cutlery and even soap for dish washing. An excellent point for exploring the area.

Review 122：Great 4* hotel. Just on the edge of town - but in Bansko this is a benefit as a little quieter away the buzzing party centre! Not a problem for skiers though as a shuttlebus runs regularly to and from the gondola and is extremely efficiently and diligently run. Hotel itself is superb. Go for a deluxe apartment with the additional space to relax (or leave your ski kit to dry!). Spa is extremely well kept and a fantastic day to relax aching muscles after a day on the slopes. Would highly recommend the treatments too at a fraction of the cost of the UK/Alps. Staff are extremely attentive and will go out of their way to accomodate your requests whether at the reception desk or in the well stock lobby bar/cafe - especially if you are courteous. There were a few english families complaining about the staff or the shuttlebus whilst we were there - but as with any hotel in the world, if you are courteous and polite to staff, they will treat you well. Treating the locals like second class citizens is never a way of trying to get a better level of service. As with the shuttlebus, of course if you turn up at 4.59pm when the slopes close, the shuttlebus will be full. Turn up ten mins earlier and it will be a zip back to the hotel (3mins max) for everyone. All round, cant fault the hotel at all - highly recommend this modern European hotel for those who are used to a good modern standard of stay.
