Review 1：Fridge and aircon dodgy, soap caddy empty, Toilet paper holder broken, very little communication from staff at check in about motel, based on my experience and the cost I would not recommend this motel

Review 5：I arrived later in the evening as was stipulated at the time of booking, it took 3 phone calls to reach the person to open up reception. There was a 6 inch drop at the door of the room so as you opened the door you fall down this drop!! I arrived after midnight and asked for a possible late check out was told no 10am. Ok but at 9:55am they knocked on the door to tell us to leave!!!
Review 6：Very small car parks and it was a bit like Tetris to get out of the carp park. Was very warm in the section of the room where the single bed was but once it was moved closer to the double it was a bit more comfortable.

Review 8：Was unable to connect to their wi-fi server. Have not had this trouble anywhere else in my travels. Staff were very helpful in attempting to rectify this problem. Parking is a little tight if you have a large vehicle.
Review 9：Athough close to station which was handy, the traffic noise from trucks and cars was very loud most of the night. Linen was not very fresh and the towels were like sand paper. Air conditioning unit was very grubby and unable to open the drapes in the morning as there were no other filtering curtains (netting etc.)so privacy would have been an issue. Was just a few hours as we left at 9:00 am next morning. Would not wanted to have stayed any longer. I rang a couple of days before to confirm the booking and the man I spoke to was not very friendly and seemed quite disinterested. I would not stay again.
Review 10：24hr check in close to railway station I arrived by train at 1am. Just an over night stay so never even saw any staff. Convenient.
Review 11：We were looking for somewhere reasonably priced .Motel lodge suited perfectly .The room was basic but very clean .The beds were very comfortable .The linen crisp and spotless .Pillows plump and comfy .
Review 12：Rooms were not very clean had an ordour. Toilet commodes were not cleaned on check in and had to be requested to be hygienically cleaned. The reception staff was however quick in getting it done herself. No wifi reception in room - had to complain but couldn't be resolved.

Review 20：Parking is almost non-existent. Rooms are very drab. Need a huge make-over. Staff, whilst being obliging when they appear, are almost non-existent, like the parking, and certainly don't demonstrate a willingness to be friendly.

Review 22：The inside of the room was out dated, cupboards old, bed old and out of shape, I slept on top of the bed cover and covered up with a towel as a blanket. Too frightened to sleep under it, My partner placed the single mattress on the floor to sleep.

TV had intermittent reception all night (no storms around, clear night) Staff indifferent to broken castor leg when informed Office smelled like the back alley to a Chinese restaurant Star rating inaccurate and would not have stayed there as in my opinion 2-2.5 star would have been more accurate

Review 25：The room was not clean and fresh. Bathroom was smelly and the shower rose was broken. The room was very musty causing sneezing etc. The room was supposed to cater for 3 adults and 1 child. 2 beds were double bunks. High one not suitable for adult or young child.

Review 37：There is no power point near the bed so I was unable to charge my mobile whilst having it within reach (while in bed) to use the alarm or make/receive calls/texts. The vanity unit was swollen due to moisture and some of the chipboard was exposed; This is a breeding ground for mould that could be unsafe for staff and guests.
Review 38：The room and facilities were clean and tidy. The TV and channel choices were quite good. tea and coffee making facilities were supplied.
Review 39：The TV didn't work. It seemed as though he signal was bad and as though the antenna wasn't pointing in the right direction. So i couldn't watch TV because it was all pixelated and staticy

Review 45：easy to find, and clean room and linen. liked the microwave, toaster etc. this was an ok place for an overnight stay travelling up the highway, and not too far from the Leagues club where we got a good meal at a top price.
Review 46：Due to circumstances beyond their control (Cyclone Marcia), the motel had no power, ergo no lights, no air con (it was a hot humid night), no microwave, no TV or radio. Due to the lack of power, the pool hadn't been cleaned for more than a week. The still charged the normal rate of $100 for the room.

Review 53：My daughter left her pillow behind and the Motel rang within half an hour to inform us they found it. They kept it for us for the week until we travelled back through Rockhampton and were able to collect. Very happy with this Motel. Will stay again.
Review 54：The small, terribly squashy car park. We were in a small car, yet had to park literally right on our door step. The room across from us had a big car which left very little space for a 3rd car to drive between, to get in & out of the place

Review 60：Very basic facilities, the kitchenette had a fridge and a microwave, although there was a TV set. I was given the unit nearest the Bruce highway and the trucks were very noisy all night long and as a woman traveling alone I felt vulnerable so close to the highway but I was able to get a night's sleep.
Review 61：The Motor Lodge was easy to book and pay for I didn't have to worry about credit card fees as was able to pay cash and having free WiFi meant I was able to catch up on e-mails etc. Place was fine as a place to sleep when passing through Rockhampton.
Review 62：Air-con was not efficient and there was no fan. Room smelt of cigarettes. Bed was hard. There were tea bags but only 1 coffee bag to share between two coffee drinkers and not that it mattered as it was impossible to get the jug under the tap to fill it. WiFi password given at reception did not work. Facilities and furnishings were inconsistent with price charged.

Review 64：Having to wait 15 minutes at reception for the manager to finish a phone call even though he was aware I was waiting. When we went to our room the very first thing we saw was a bag of rubbish and dirty towels at the front door and the room smelt stale. The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. Out if the 5 foxtel channels provided only 2 worked. Next to no shower pressure and a a leaky tap not worth 90 a night.

Review 67：Motel is very dated but exceptionally clean with crisp sheets, comfy bed and soft towels and freshly painted. Probably one of the cheapest motel rooms in Rockhampton, have stayed in older places in Rocky for considerably more money.
Review 68：Very small family room. Very squeezey drive way and parks. Other than that they were older style room but we did just need an overnight. I probably wouldn't book for a long stay as there's no where to put anything and going out to the car all the time is irritating
Review 69：Staff were friendly, pool was clean and kept the little ones busy. Really liked the dispensers in the shower and sink, holding shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, shaving cream, hand soap. I thought that was really convenient and a lovely little extra. Family room was a bit squeezey, aircon worked well, TV reception great. Coffee was directly behind the door which was fairly annoying given the room was already hard to move in. Car spaces very tight. Despite the lack of room, staff were lovely all was very clean and close to an awesome fish and chip shop with in walking distance.

Review 77：This was a very basic room. It was apparently part of a budget chain. This was not made known in the advertising. The price was not budget. We paid the same price the previous night for a 1 bedroom apartment with a full kitchen. Definitely would not recommend this motel.

Review 85：Tight space to negotiate driving on property. There was ways to exit more easily than going out the way you went in but except for our unit not clearly marked. (Our park allowed us to enter from within property and exit directly onto side road.)

Review 93：As I was on my way back from North Queensland this motel was in the right position just off the road , easy to find & next morning just out of the motel & back on the road , so easy. Also it represents good value , I didn't need 5 star service just a place to put my head down for the night. Food outlets nearby .
Review 94：No heating, bathroom needs spring clean, freezer needs defrosting, noisy bathroom fan needs fixing and cleaning, curtain in bathroom has staining outside light shone through window all night, park far away from room and upstairs, surely a triple room would take children into consideration. Awkward parks. Overall felt I was ripped off $30, as clearly are overcharging.

Review 96：Possibly the dirtiest motel I've ever stayed in. Carpets were dirty, lino flooring hadn't seen a mop in quite a while. The whole place just felt dirty and unhygienic. Upon being woken up at 5am, we jumped out of bed to leave immediately, only too happy to escape...

Review 98：The tile floor in the kitchenette and bedroom area needs something put on it to stop slipping. My feet slipped on the floor and bruised my knees. I have been in many motel rooms in my travels and have never slipped before, whether my feet were wet or dry. So you have a problem.
