Review 1：Resembles a prison somewhat. The rooms are narrow and long. All set along the lengthy corridor. Breakfast is served in the dark by passing a plate through the door opening. Having said that you cant beat the price of under $9.00 per night breakfast included. The staff is very friendly. Highly recommended for a budget minded solo traveler.

Review 3：It was noisy on the street during night time, and, taking in ming - there are no ACs in rooms, it was no easy to sleep with open windows.
Review 4：My room was on 3rd floor, so I can notice that common use facilities (shower, toilet) were clean and in good condition. Keep in mind - like other military hotels in Russia, Volna has only one toilet/shower facility per floor for all rooms of the floor.
Review 5：I paid about $16/night for a clean, quiet but very basic room without toilet/bath (these were located at the end of the hall, and were also very clean). The location is very good, and the staff was friendly. It's not the Hilton, but it's good value for the money.

Review 13：Forget everything you hear about Russia this was a breeze. Basic but clean and safe, friendly staff made it perfect for a budget traveller like me. My fiancee was allowed to visit (in the afternoon) without any problems. Breakfast at weekends is nothing to write home about but weekdays is hot and worth taking. WiFi is slow but works consistently.

Interesting area with lots of historic wooden buildings. Shared facilities weren't a problem, for this price it's fine.

Review 22：Чистая постель, Чистый номер, чистый душ и туалет, приветливый персонал. Брала экономный вариант одноместного номера с удобствами на этаже и очень довольна. Отель находится в центре но спокойной части города недалеко от набережной и железнодорожного вокзала. Что еще необходимо одинокому путешественнику? Самара прекрасна. Приезжайте не раздумывая.
