Reviews for Eurotel

Review 1:Bathroom was not cleaned. Dirty towels on the floor. The room was old and smelly. I arrived at 21.20, no other rooms were available. Thus i had to stay in not cleaned bedroom. However the staff were friendly, and gave some discount for non cleanliness.

Review 2:Staff was friendly. The location is good. Parking is easy and free.

Review 3:family atmosphere with extraordinarily friendly and helpful hotelier, spotlessly clean room and bathroom - we will be back ,-) a definite recommendation!!

Review 4:Excellent location, clean, bright, and quiet room with very decent bathroom. No frills, but everything you need is there and for a great price. We only stayed one night but I would highly recommend the place.

Review 5:none

Review 6:A compact family run hotel with easy access to the city centre. Friendly reception staff. The owner was particularly pleasant. Clean, basic value for money, good breakfast. Well worth securing a car park space in advance.

Review 7:The hotel is in a nice old building, not in the most elegant area of the town. It is 15min walk from the Cathedral. It has been well restored and is showing all the care of the lady owner (who is very accurate and helpful). Rooms are not large but comfortable and quiet. Breakfast is not included but ok for the price. There is an elevator for luggages and a closeby box for the car (at 10euro/day). Only etnic restaurants in the area: better plan to have dinner in downtown.

Review 8:Breakfast was extra. I would have preferred it was incorporated into the room price - but most people didn't seem to take breakfast.

Review 9:Very comfortable and clean room with a large bathroom. Very helpful and attentive staff. Nice location by the river. 20 mins walk to the station or to the city centre.

Review 10:Unfortunately there's no air co. in the room

Review 11:The room (including the bathroom) was very clean and cozy even though it's quite small. Hotel itself is located within walking distance from the city centre.

Review 12:As it was summer time the rooms were too hot even though they provided fan still it was hot so if they can install airconditionar then it can be much more comfortable.

Review 13:The hotel staff was so friendly and they alway's welcome their guest with nice smile and so friendly. I enjoyed my stayed at hotel.

Review 14:The receptionist attempted to extort money from us for a taxi. We were quoted over 95 euros for a journey that eventually cost us 30 with another taxi. Be wary of asking the receptionist to book a taxi for you as I fear they might be in it together.

Review 15:Staff couldn't have been more helpful or friendly, the room was basic but very comfortable and perfect for purpose also a short walk from town centre, very good as long as you're not expecting the Ritz

Review 16:- Shower did not always get hot. - Steep step from shower to the floor. - Room is just big enough for the bed.

Review 17:- Room was clean. - Desk and plenty of storage space available.

Review 18:old lady from serviedesk is very unfriendly.and she didnt tell us what do we need to pay extra in advance. my 5 years daughter only asked for an extra blanket, lady forced me to pay 10euro extra!!!that never happened in any other hotel!!!.and it didnt mention on booking website that internet needs to pay.but she charged us 11euro. and i am not allowed to pay by normal pin,but only can pay by credit card, that's not handy. and when we left, old lady pushed my husband, and showed very angry face,it's just because that we didnt accept pay 10euro for the blanket!!! and she even pretended that she can not understand english!!! i have to say this is the worst hotel i have ever experienced so far!!!i wont recomend anyone to book this hotel!!!!!!!

Review 19:hotel room looks clean. 酒店唯一好的地方就是房间还比较干净。

Review 20:Location is poor, 15min+ walk to city center. Far from business and/or industrial district, so not recommended for business travels.

Review 21:Friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast

Review 22:On the 3rd floor WIFI doesn't work. Stairs are to steep even for youngers, no minibar in the room, means no water. Bought it on the street before going to sleep. I can't understand why people say is wonderfull, it is a 2 star hotel with all related limits. Next time I'll pay more for all the comodities needed for a lone business traveller

Review 23:Breackfast

Review 24:Restaurants a bit far away (but still in walking distance)

Review 25:Very friendly, personal service; more like a B&B than a hotel. Quiet location. Easy to find parking nearby

Review 26:The lady owner of the hotel is very sweet and kind... she tries to make your days there more convenient. it is a little far from the center but it is located in a quite site near the river. The room had a lot of space and was gromantic and beautiful with a big window seeing a part of the river.. I would book again this hotel if have to go again to liege..

Review 27:We liked everything. Nothing to complain about!

Review 28:Extremely friendly reception by owner, Ms. Evelyne Achab. Overall pre art-deco style. Very good and spacious room with balcony! Large, comfortable bathroom - with good toiletries. Fabulous breakfast. Flexible hours. Real parking place nearby. Next time in Liège will be at the Eurotel again!

Review 29:There should be a hair dryer as a default in every room. You have to ask for it which is an inconvenience. The wifi could be free or it should be charged per room, not according to the number of persons staying.

Review 30:The staff was very kind and they gave personal attention to all customers. The hotel was very close to congress center, bus stop and media center shopping mall. The room was very clean.

Review 31:I missed a hairdryer in the room, especially now its getting colder it is nice to be able to dry your hair after washing. The beds are nice and soft, but one i the room was a bit sagged.

Review 32:The lady at the check-in is very friendly. It is relevant to know is that she only speaks French, but I do not think this causes any problems, because she explains well even if you do not understand the language.

Review 33:Decor not exactly modern No tea or coffee in room Expensive (all hotels are for F1 weekend)

Review 34:Very clean room and bathroom Quiet - No road or other noise at night

Review 35:The room was facing the sunset so it can be quite warm for a while until the sun sets (it is summer so sun sets at 10.30pm). Need to take bus 17 to train station or bus 1 and 4 to the central area. But it is within walking distance to a mall called Mediacite, good for shopping and food.

Review 36:The lady at counter is very helpful and friendly. We checked in on Sunday and even though she can't speak much English, she tried to give directions to the various attractions. A grocery shop on the same block as the hotel. Definitely ask the lady on how to get to Mediacite and the central area as they are not really within walking distance. Tito is very friendly too!

Review 37:The staff at the reception was very professional and friendly.

Review 38:A little bit expensive considering that you have to pay for the breakfast

Review 39:The comfort of the room and its location

Review 40:We were at the 4th floor with a baby, no lift and steep stairs. Small bedroom, old fashioned hotel

Review 41:a crib for our baby was made available

Review 42:Nothing

Review 43:Staff were fantastic couldn't do enough to help

Review 44:Friendly Staff. Good WiFi

Review 45:No towels en no glasses/plastic cubs in bathroom

Review 46:Gently staff, location, new rooms, quickly heated rooms; good price!

Review 47:Very silent room.

Review 48:Location is perfect. Easy to find. Easy to park car. Clean room.

Review 49:Optional breakfast was pretty expensive

Review 50:Nice, clean room. Good location

Review 51:Room very clean and tastefully furnished Large modern bathroom Balcony

Review 52:A little bit overpriced

Review 53:Basic but very clean. Good location

Review 54:The help and interaction with staff was excellent always accommodating and friendly

Review 55:The recieption

Review 56:The staff was excellent, she helped us with navigating the city and told us about events that were going on. She even ironed our clothes for us.

Review 57:

Review 59:The staff is very friendly

Review 60:Stayed two nights. Overall, hotel is good value for money.

Review 61:The place is quite narrow :)

Review 62:Amazing nice staff!

Review 63:breakfast was a little too expensive

Review 64:the location is GREAT the personnel is GREAT

Review 65:The hotel has a lot of character. The owner is very nice and helpful, she gave us useful information about things to see in Liège.

Review 66:Very small rooms

Review 67:Good location, clean

Review 68:close to city center and free parking, friendly, familiar athmosphere very clean, rooms with a touch

Review 69:We found the two star hotel very comfortable. Breakfast excellent and the reasonable price and good location near Formula One Spa. Thank you

Review 70:The hotel is basic but comfortable and clean and at a walking distance from the city center.

Review 71:Room Location

Review 72:Perfect base for 2 day stopover. Excellent Wifi

Review 73:Inability to make tea in our room. However, the staff brought some up.

Review 74:The staff was so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. Fresh squeezed orange juice! Laundry service too! It was a cozy place with a nice atmosphere.

Review 75:You can not find anybody to serve tea or coffee at night and there is no water heater in the rooms. I also would like to have a smoking room.

Review 76:The lady at the reception is friendly. Although it is a very small hotel, it is nice and clean. Breakfast is very good.

Review 77:Old building, very small sleeping room, nothing special. Okay breakfast, rather expensive.

Review 78:Close to the city centre (10-15 minutes walk), quiet location, friendly personel. Nice, clean and big bathroom.

Review 79:Nothing in particular to complain.

Review 80:We stayed for 3 nights in the Eurotel. It is run by a family owning the hotel. The lady welcomed us warmly, to a degree that you sense that you are being welcomed at someone's home. She immediately gave us directions about room and about going to town, and offered help for anything we would need during our stay. The room was within our expectations, clean and well maintained. It was comfortable, warm, and quite. The room is equipped with a desk and a flat screen with a wide selection of TV programs. Bathroom well maintained and clean. We stayed in the 4th floor. Very silent. There is an elevator for luggage, but not for people. For some people this can be a problem. If I ever go to Liège again, I will consider this hotel.

Review 81:The staff didn't speak english. We were okay because we understood french and were able to communicate fairly easily but it would be hard to someone who doesn't speak the language.

Review 82:The staff was amazing. Always very kind and attentive. The responsible lady helped us quite a lot. The room was very comfortable and clean. We went for a conference and the venue was only 5 min away so that was very convenient but we could walk easily everywhere if we just wanted to go see Liège.

Review 83:Very close to Palais de Congres and city centre. We had small but cozy room. Big and clean bathroom. Lady at the reception was helpful and very nice but French speaking. Nevertheless even basic French knowledge was enough because she could read in your mind :))

Review 84:I really liked this hotel. The staff who ran the hotel were extremely helpful and welcoming. Helped with onward trains, maps etc. Very friendly. The room was very nice and comfortable for the price. It was a budget hotel, but the room was large, very clean and comfortable. A very nice older style hotel with a lot of ambiance.

Review 85:Nothing special.

Review 86:The quality of the service (room, breakfast) and the attention received from the owner. I received much help from the owner because my luggage went lost at the airport during the flight from my country. I could recover it three days later and the attention during this time was excellent.

Review 87:Noisy outside because of building work - but not the hotel's fault.

Review 88:Lovely friendly and helpful staff. Very convenient for conference centre. Pleasant, clean room, and "small" breakfast was excellent value.

Review 89:The staff were excellent. Not only efficient but very welcoming. It is a long time since I have experienced the owner of a property come to the door to bid you farewell. Parking very easy in nearby street.

Review 90:Instructions to the hotel were confusing. There was a street name leftout of the directions. Beds were terribly hard and duvet was terriblythin. Our room was on a noisy street with buses passing every 5 minutes.

Review 91:The patron,Evelyn was very informative and paid a great deal ofattention to her hotel.

Review 92:the price was a little high for the size of the room, a few free comfort items in the rooms could make a difference

Review 93:Breakfast, clean cared for rooms, staff, simplicity, the internet worked well, which is very nice

Review 94:Bed hard as rock, very uncomfortable. Good only for short stays.

Review 95:Decent location, ca. 15 minutes from city center. Clean, elegant rooms. Lots of parking space just outside the hotel

Review 96:Small comfortable hotel with friendly and helpful owner. A good breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice and plentiful supply of coffee. A lift is being installed.

Review 97:Being told to be quiet at all times by the proprietor (even when we were just saying goodnight to her she was shushing us!!!). The bed was as hard as rock. No tea/coffee facilities in the room.

Review 98:It was very clean, had free parking outside and the room was spacious.

Review 99:The price was steep the hotel manager was always moaning there was ahealth and safety risk and the breakfast was over priced

Review 100:The shower was the only good thing

Review 101:Everything s good. In the near future, we gotta come to Liége again and we will book here again with no doubts.

Review 102:Cleaneness and the Owner s welcoming style. Bed very confortable. We were at the fourth floor and silence, with an open window, encourged our sleep.

Review 103:The Hotel was conveniently located near the centre of town, with free parking in the square across the street. The room was clean and fittings in good condition. The hotel is basic, not fancy but perfectly acceptable and good value for money. Staff were friendly, helpful and courteous. Would recommend it and stay again if back in Liege.

Review 104:It would have been nice to have a kettle and coffee/tea in the room.

Review 105:It was exactly as described, including convenient nearby parking. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Review 106:No shops or restaurants near this hotel expect at least a 20 minute walk to nearest shop so keep this in mind if you dont have a car. Food and drink at this hotel is quite expensive.

Review 107:Convenient for airport especially if you have an early flight. Be preparted to use a taxi to get to this hotel from the city (cost approximately 15 euro). We stayed here with our two teenage children and were given a lovely room with adjoining room for the children at a very reasonable cost. Shuttle bus available from hotel to airport but you must book the bus when you check in and it costs 4 euro per person.

Review 108:The hotel accomodated us to its best extent possible. The city itself isdensely interconnected, leaving the problem of early morning car noise. The windows are accomodated to isolate the noise, but we had to sleepwith open windows due to the high temperature that night.

Review 109:This charming hotel satisfied all our needs: very nice owner, largeroom, good price-quality, close to both the old city center and thecommercial area (20 min walk along the river). There is much parkingspace in the neighbourhood. Tourist tax was already included in theprice, while other hotels additionally charge it to you. Breakfast was10 euros, and consisted of orange juice, water, coffee, (chocolate)milk, tea, croissants, pain au chocolats, corn flakes, sandwiches, cheese, hard-cooked eggs, ham and fresh fruits, etc., which, in all, isa fair variety of breakfast foods given its cost. The hotel is also onits way of installing the much-needed elevator.

Review 110:The hotel is very nice and it's quite close to the city centre. The roomwe got was really good. The bed was comfortable, the shower bath was invery good condition, cleaning was done regularly and in a perfect way, bath towel was also provided daily. The staff was very friendly, caringand ready to help in case of describing how to move around the city. Weenjoyed our stay so much that we decided stay 2 more days than weplanned. The biggest shopping mall in Liege, "Mediacite" is a stone-throw to the hotel. We made so much shopping from different stores inthe mall 'coz everything was cheaper there compared to Finland... Themall has Primark, New look, Sportsdirect, etcI have many reasons to recommend this hotel to anyone. It was a very good value for its price :)

Review 111:A quiet and well priced hotel 15-20 mins walk to the old town. Located on the quiet side of the river Meuse. Very friendly and helpful hotel manageress.

Review 112:The hotel is not to big, in the nice, old bulding.Hotel staff was veryfriendely, helpfull and kind. They give all kind of information aboutthe city. The hotelroom was small and basic, but clean and nice. Thereare all what you nead to stay. The hotel is very good situated, nearlyto the old city, museums, shoping center, in the quiet street.

Review 113:Ideal location just about a 20min walk from everywhere, comfortable andspacious room, friendly staff with excellent tips on where to go andwhat to see in Liege.

Review 114:The room smelt very strongly of disinfectant, when we entered the room. Some traffic noise eg. bus route. The motion-activated security light in the vestibule was somewhat intrusive in the night, and not necessary.

Review 115:Good breakfast. Friendly staff. Proximity to city centre.

Review 116:The maîtrisse was really kind, waited for our arrival even if after 11pmand prepared every thing (like chauffage, etc.) so we could stay at ourmaximum comfort. Rooms were spacious and clean. Good value for money

Review 117:Everything was ok.

Review 118:Free street parking. Bus to city center. Great price.
