Hostel Pirano sells fast on our site. Located in the historic part of Piran just 1,000 feet from the central Tartini Square, Hostel Pirano was completely renovated in 2015 and has all rooms equipped with free WiFi and cable TV. Town beaches, Main Bus Station, museums and bars are all within close walking distance.
Each room comes either with air conditioning or a fan. They are all simply furnished and have access to a shared bathroom with toilet.
Front desk can help organise activities such as rafting, trekking, scuba diving and snorkeling. Daily visits to Postojna Cave, as well as scooter and bike rental services, can also be arranged.
Portorož Airport is approximately 5 miles outside of town. Croatian border is within 12 km, while the charming Italian town of Trieste is 21.7 miles away.

Review 1：It was pretty, comfortable, new and so clean!!! I saw a staff member clean the staircase with a toothbrush! Vigorously! I have never been to a place so spotless...lick the floor if you like

Review 3：Location is very close to bus station. Very good value for money. Right behind two very great restaurants that ate at :-) It is just a basic room with good working aircon, and two rooms share one bathroom.

Review 4：The "reception " was filthy. The photos of the rooms didn't match with reality. All the sheets smelled weird. Room was small and you could hear everything.

Review 5：It is located good, but Piran is not big so wherever you stay you are close. The photo of yhe toilet was only true photo of the hostel.

Review 6：The room was ridiculously small. We had no space for our clothes and stuff. No wardrobs, no shelves, no dryer. Towels were handtowels, not big enough for adults. It was a special request to get a trash bin. Air conditioning is not a basic equipment, we had a discussion to be able to use it for free. The bed was terribly noisy. Our room was not cleaned for a whole week. We needed to ask new towels and new trash bag. Wifi signal was very weak. We wanted to get some discount, and the owner was rude, and started to haggleing and threatening. We got a little discount finally, but our staying was ruined.

Review 10：Through the location in the very center, the place is not very calm as you hear people in the street passing by. There were no coat hooks/pegs to hang clothes and/or towels. The hostel wouldn't suit for older people (very tiny and steep stairs).

Review 11：Staff was very nice, we had very good contact through e-mail and telephone before booking as well. They explained the parking conditions. Hostel is in the center of Piran, so everything is reachable by foot. Everything was clean and was as we expected it to be.

Review 12：As parking is a problem in Piran, our host was quite helpful, catering to our needs even though we arrived pretty late. The location is optimal, in the heart of Piran, and you've got all the facilities to make your stay as nice as possible.

Review 24：Staff were never present so it was hard to get information, it was like a ghost town at this hostel when we were here. Hot water didn't last long in the shower.

Review 26：Our room was next to the toilet and the toilet would make a horrible noise every time it was flushed. The door was half glass, so the light from the corridor was shining in and you could see the people walking in the hallway.

Review 27：Staff was supernice. They came to let us in and gave us a room in the morning already. Room was big and it had a kitchen and the shared bathroom was close. Location was just a short walk from the Tartini square.

Review 33：Good location. Ok for budget accommodation. Wifi was good. We decided to head to the coast from Ljublijana to get away from the heat wave and glad we did, Piran is a great little seaside town with night places to swim.

Review 38：Looks differently than on the photos. actually it is worse than we have expected. (room for four with kitchen was really small, there were some kitchen stuff missing, the bed was not very comfortable). But still good value for your money, if you stay just for 1 or 2 nights it is great.

Although we stayed there as a group of 4, due tothe booking system of booking.com we had to pay the price for the entireroom of 6.

Review 42：The room was advertised with TV, no big deal but no TV. Our room was an attic on the 4th with very narrow stairs. The ceilings in the room were so low and the floor sloped. No ceiling fan or air con and was hot. The bathroom and toilet was one floor down but the toilet was not working so we had to go down 4 floors to us the toilet. Everyone staying at the hostel had to use the one toilet. No reduction in our fee but it was too much money for what we got and we are not fussy people.
