Hotel Fortuna sells fast on our site. The Hotel Fortuna in Băile Tușnad is located in green surroundings between the Harghita and Bodoc mountains. All rooms have a balcony and beds with orthopaedic mattresses.

Review 1：A cozy rustic hotel with excellent restaurant and friendly staff. We liked everything, you could see that the owners were trying to make us feel comfortable. We will definitely come again.

Review 3：Very very nice family run hotel with much character and great atmosphere. There is a lot of attention to details that made our stay very pleasant. Beds were super comfy. There is a restaurtant downstairs with fireplace. Very cozy... Food was to a high standard with traditonal Romanian and several game dishes on the menu (wild bore, deer). We will definitely come again!

Review 4：I traveled with my mom and stayed here during the weekend. We had quite a lot of stuff happening lately so we were hoping this will be a relaxing time. However, we had the bad luck of encountering the loudest group of people ever. This wouldn't have been a problem, but they sang (screamed) up until 4 am right beneath our window. All the rooms face the same way, so we couldn't get transferred to another room for the night. While I get it was not the hotel's fault, I still feel the staff should've made them move their party on the terrace, where no one had any windows and everyone would've been happy. All in all, it would've been a pleasant experience if not for this awful night.

Review 5：The location is gorgeous, about 15-20 min walk uphill from the train station. The staff was friendly and the room clean, so nothing to complain about here.

Review 6：Excellent location, away from the center and surrounded by the forest. Great food at the restaurant, good quality and fair prices. Fresh air, helpful staff, nice atmosphere, it's a very good place to "charge your batteries".

Review 10：The area is great, the facility has a garden available. The restaurant terrace was a great place to spend time and the parking lot is freely available and well managed. Food was good and there are some special hungarian foods available.

Review 16：The location is great, right by a major road, but without being noisy. There is a beautiful forest right behind the hotel. The rooms were charmingly decorated with antiques, and the architecture of the place was very nice.

Review 17：- the mattress was bigger than the bed frame, so we kinda slide to the center of the bed - old TV set, we had to get up from bed to turn on/off the TV. - NO Wi-Fi signal in the room.

Review 20：They have amazing bathroom designs - river rocks for tiles and stylish showers. The food in the restaurant was excellent. Everything was clean and well taken care of. The staff and the owners were very welcoming and this more than anything made our stay special.

Review 23：The room had not been aired in weeks, at least, staff very unfriendly. They even forgot to clean the room (at the bathroom ventilation system was weak, the towels were still wet).

Review 24：- There was no buffet breakfast available (which can be the case) but at first morning our attention has not been arisen for the opportunity to have 4 type menus - The bathroom, especially the shower was outfashioned, still can be used, but not really comfortable -

Review 25：- You can feel yourself close to be at the middle of the forest with excellent air - The garden of the hotel is extremly nice, with wide variation of flowers. It is wild and still safe even for children who would like to play just guarded by natural limits - During wintertime it can be really a lodge just at the valley station of the ski-lift

Review 26：You have to pay extra to use the sauna and the outside hot tub. The wooden floors and tub in the bathroom combined with the lack of a window means it will never be dry.

Review 47：Superb place to stay. The owner has lovingly looked after every detailof the place, using local craftsmen and suppliers wherever possible. Therooms are clean, uncluttered and have a lovely little balcony. There isan excellent restaurant with great options for breakfast and eveningmeals and an outdoor terrace. There is also a back garden area withseating. Massage and sauna facilities are available and the hotel is ashort walk (10-15 mins) from the centre of Tusnadfurdo/Baille Tusnad(where there is a wellness centre, local shops and mineral watersprings). The staff are great and obviously echo their boss'attitude to customer service: creating a relaxing and hospitableenvironment for guests to stay in. I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed mystay here - highly recommended!

Review 48：A little understaffed, as the receptionist was also waiting our table - maybe because it was a quiet evening with few customers. (we were the only ones having dinner)

Review 49：Situated aprox 1,5 km from the center of Baile Tusnad, lies at a foot of wooded mountains, right at the exit towards Miercurea Ciuc. Rustic ambiance. Balony, small but private, overlooking the mountain) Basic bathroom furnishings, but all was clean so no problem there. We only stayed for one night in June. A sky slope right by the hotel promises also winter sports.

Review 50：Fortuna is a bit tired but more than adequate as a comfy, warm, affordable location.

Review 51：Once we wiped the furniture down (it was covered in a fine dusty powder) the beds at Fortuna were the most comfortable we'd had in rural Romania. The restaurant is basically Hungarian but in my opinion some of the best food I've ever had at great prices.

Review 52：They have three dogs who are mostly friendly but can bark at night orthe early morning. On one morning there was no staff to be found forabout 30 minutes.

Review 53：We really liked everything about this place and will stay there if we goback to Tusnad. We were warmly welcomed and well taken care of for mostof the visit. When we were in the common rooms or restaurant they wouldstart a fire for us and several other such "extra mile"efforts. The food was FANtastic and highly recommended.

Review 54：The bathroom (especially the shower) is in need of some renovation, with missing doors to the shower cabin and a shower "fixed" with a garden hose... Other than that, it was all good, and will stay there next time we visit Tusnad.

Review 55：We stayed here twice in the last years, and we were pleased every time. The rooms are well decorated, with a lot of wood and other traditional items. The food and drinks at the restaurant are very good. There is a sauna, a nice garden, a ski slope, a terrace, etc. The location is very nice, at the edge of the town, near the forest. All roms have a balcony and a view of the mountain. It's quiet, clean and relaxing.

Review 56：the staff was always there for us, ready to assist in whatever we wanted, but some of them did not seem to speak any languages different from the native one.

Review 57：A beautiful area, in the bosom of the mountain. The hotel is furnished with exceptional taste for detail and provides cosy atmosphere of warmth and domesticity. It is clean and at very reasonable prices; a variety entertainments - sauna, Finnish bath, ski slope, ice skating rink, etc.

Review 58：Everything was fine. The owner and the staff were extremely helpful. They picked us up at the railway station and provided us with useful hints for hiking tours in the marvellous surroundings. The rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated. Diner and breakfast are delicious.

Review 62：- Liked that the hotel was beautifully ornated with wine and palinka bottles. - the food was out of this world; for our first meal we ordered toast with meat fat, paprika and onion and even if it wasn't in the menu, they were able to serve it with great palinka. - close to Ciucas Lake Club Aventura (adventure park for kids and adults). - close to the beatiful lake St Ann and Balvanyos's bigger adventure park for kids and adults (9 zip lines "tiroliene"). - great sleep quality due to the clean and fresh mountain air. - the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful - good pool table:)

Review 63：No wifi as promissed, the staff gave wrong password and explained its working, but it didnt work on 5 different smartphones and computers. Big windows with no curtaines , at 5am we woke up and couldnt sleep, hotel in bad shape generaly.
