Review 1：No hot water! The property is a bit noisy and one may wake up at 6am, but it is noisy anywhere. The location isn't that close, need to walk 8 minutes to bq mall.

Review 4：The location is close to the city center, the cathedrale and restaurants. The view on the sea is beautiful. There are a lot of tricycles or jeepnees in front of the hotel, very easy to move somewhere else. Quiet room.

Review 11：The water pressure for each room's bathroom needs to be improved. Water stations per floor should at least be provided. A simple breakfast is also recommended such as the famous silog dishes of the Philippines.
Review 12：The attentiveness and availability of the owner was highly appreciated, friendly and helpful staff. Great location for my business trip, walking distance from Aldea, BQ Mall etc. plus the St. Joseph's Cathedral. The view from all the room's deck was very relaxing and worth the money you pay for.

Review 19：I had to make a call to let our guide know about our pick up next morning and the hotel said they had no outgoing call facility anywhere including the reception!! Our tour pick up at 7:15am and I requested the staff if we can get breakfast by 7am. They refused saying breakfast can only be served after 7:30am. They even denied my request to pack any bread. Really disappointed after having wonderful hosts in Puerto Princesa.

There's a kitchen/dining area with crockery, hot water etc. Lovely staff, really helpful and booked a day tour to chocolate hills and other local sights for us.
Review 35：There aren't many facilities - but that's fine for the price, and the location so close to restaurants and the city centre. A breakfast option would have been good, but no great loss. The A/C units are placed at bed-height, right next to the head of the bed, which can make things a little noisy and uncomfortable sometimes - but this is easy enough to counteract with tweaking. Overall, nothing at all that spoiled my stay.
Review 36：The view - by far the best view I've had from a budget hotel room, and really terrific to wake up to every day. All the rooms look out over the bay, and it's just idyllic. Staff were friendly and the room was basic but comfortable. A/C was efficient (if oddly-placed), and the bathroom was fine, with an electric shower for quick hot water.

It´s not really touristic. That mean if youmade the sighseeing tour, there is nothing to do if the evening. We weresent to one restaurant that had a good standard and there was also onlyone Bar/Disco you could enter without feel uncomfortable. During theday you see a lot of poorness, all the time someone was begging formoney. I think it´s better to be in a resort.

Review 112：What I like most in Matig-a is the location. It is very accessible to the mall and to the pier. Aside from that accessible also for vehicle such as tricyle. Price is reasonable and the hotel is clean and good enough to have a satisfying stay in Bohol. If I will be given a chance to go back, I will still be staying in the same place. It is not that elegant but it's neat.

Matig is at one end of the town and it is easy to walk from there to the city center. It is also close to Panglao island - in fact you can walk there - and very close to one of the best restaurants in town. We like it there very much indeed.
