Hotel Barbara Fiesa is located in the most beautiful, greenest and quietest part of the Slovenian coast, directly on the seaside.
It is situated on the bay between the old town of Piran and Strunjan, about a 5-minute drive from Portoroz, which boasts casinos, restaurants and a marina. The Croatian and Italian borders are about 9 miles away from the hotel.
Hotel Barbara Fiesa features a beautiful swimming pool (closed in July and August) and comfortably equipped rooms with sea view. The restaurant is open all day and serves a wide range of excellent dishes. There is also a bistro on the beach during summer.

Review 1：Room is extremely basic. The sauna and swimming pool are a certain health risk. Mould every where. Most lockers broken, bad smell. The heated swimming pool was cold. No heating in the room.

Review 10：The hotel is very old and needs complete repair, design and overall hotel atmosphere is poor and unwelcoming. The beach at the hotel is not convenient for any stay, it is dirty and too noisy because of the camping located nearby, better to walk along the cliffs to find a more pleasant and clean place to enjoy the sea. The staff is average.

Review 14：The guy from reception desk was very kind. He was not only able to speak fluent English but also provided us every information and helped us with early check in. Hotel facilities were in perfect conditions and fully available to use. One of the best breakfast ever. The price for room and quality of hotel was extremely friendly. I hope that I would have chance to visit hotel again. There is also diving school close by.

Review 18：The hotel is well-situated, the facilities are pretty ok. The staff is very helpful and friendly, overall hotel left a very good impression. We have also recieved the free bigger room upgrade.

Review 19：The rooms are stinking from cheap cleaners. The hotel interior is from the 70's, the rooms aren't much newer. Old carpets on the corridors are very disappointing. Breakfast is cheap kind, very bad coffee and juices. The airconditioner outdoor unit is very loud, and works all night long. Staff is apathetic.Cheap hostel feeling. (unfortunately this starts to be the 3star standard :( )

Review 25：The hotel is not in the centre of Piran it's about 15 minutes walk along the coast... we got a taxi back and it was around 12 euro; this is not necessarily a bad thing but it's worth considering if you have young kids or grandparents etc. because it was that little bit out the parking was free which is a bonus

We found the walk to Piran on a paved / cobbled path past the sea very pleasant.
