The guest rooms at Focus Hotel are designed by different artists, such as a writer, a cartoonist, and a jewelry designer. They include cable TV and a private bathroom with free toiletries.
Every morning, Hotel Focus serves a local and international buffet breakfast. Throughout the afternoon or in the evening you can have a drink at the on-site bar.
For a small fee, guests can store their bikes at the hotel.
Central Kortrijk features numerous historic buildings, such as the town hall and the Belfry of Kortrijk. The Kortrijk Xpo halls are a 5-minute drive from the hotel.

Review 1：no opening window in room television very small with few channels

Review 2：Breakfast was very good quality room was clean Good shower staff were excellent and very helpful

Review 3：Woken up repeatedly during the night (from 11 pm through to 4 in the morning!) by a group of drunken migrant workers staying in the hotel. The same workers had made the shared kitchen into a bad student house kitchen! Yuk!

Review 7：Price on the website suggested that we were paying by room not by numberof people. Rooms were not clean enough and not enough toiletries.Mosquitos were biting as there were no window protection and no air-condition. So if you wanted to have a comfort of opened window you wouldsuffer from mosquito bites.

Review 9：We were very disappointed that for all 3 days of our stay we had no hot water or heating. The attitude of the owner was also very disappointing and he was reluctant to give us a partial refund due to no hot water and heating. He seemed more worried about paying a commission to booking.com than our experience.

Review 10：No heating or hot water for 3 days. Owner couldn't get it fixed but was initially suggesting 15% of our next stay! When we argued the toss he suggested we just leave - we said we didn't want to not pay but pay a fair rate for the room - for what we got.

Review 16：we didn't realise we had access to a kitchen until half way through our stay: a leaflet in the rooms with information about hotel facilities, and perhaps a town map showing shops, would help. when you book, a map or directions that show the underpass from the railway station would be very helpful; we walked a long way from the train to the hotel because we didn't know about the underpass

Review 23：Less than 5' from the station and with individually styled rooms, of sorts, with arrangements made for a late check-in {so I'm v glad I rung to say that I would be late} it would be hard to fault this hotel. It's unlikely I'd visit Kortrijk again but if I did I'd stay again.

Review 24：Little ventilation in room, windows did not and were not designed to be open. Hot July so it was a hot humid night in our room too.

Review 25：Very modern and well equipped rooms. Great bathroom and wifi was good too. Breakfast was very good. Staff made a great effort to welcome you, all appreciated.

Review 26：Hated the fact the windows dont open. Tiny slit of grill for air. Room hellish hot and oppressive. Booked hotel annex and was put Iin hostel several doors down street. Room not as descibed or like photo. No tv no sitting area no iron no coffee machine. Searched for 5 persons and this came up. It was to sleep 8 but was described as being for one person no where to cchange selection to reflect 5 persons. Actual cost was 50 % higher as was charged per head.

It's very personal, artsy and slightly unsettling. It's definitely unlike anything you will find in a chain hotel. Staying at Focus is an experience. I would love to return.

Review 55：We were there as a group to participate in the Tour of Flanders sportive and watch the race. We booked transport through the Hostel also for ourselves and our bikes. Everything was organised extremely well, the staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable and there was a safe place to lock away the bikes. The hostel was close to town and very close to the railway station. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

Close to the train station but on the other side compared to town center so a bit of a walk to town amenities. Very good value. Stayed in the annex that was under construction. Very modern. High speed internet. Will be even better when construction is over. Stay here if you're on a biz trip and really just looking for a good bed, clean sheets and decent breakfast.
