Review 1：Service on refund I booked a room but unable to make it and unbeknownst to me was charged anyway

Review 2：I like the rooms but was only reserving in case I didn't find a better deal but didn't end up staying and was charged anyway

Review 4：The Staff was very nice and helped me get my heat going when I first arrived. The room had everything as expected and clean. There were more options than expected nearby and the 5 Freeway is 3 blocks away.

Review 5：The room was too warm, the AC froze the bathroom area but the rest of the room was a little warm, and the bathroom ceiling was covered in spiders and spiderwebs, the tub was dirty, the walls of room were very dirty and the sheet on one of the beds had stains, I had to ask housekeeping to replace sheet.

Review 13：I was bit almost every night and was trying to figure out from what. I woke up at 2 am and found a huge bedbug on my pillow and found 5 more crawling around on the bed. I took a pic off it and should the lady at the front desk and she just kinda blew it off. I loved that it was close too where my kids live at but i would not recommend any body stay there. For a few dollors more i will just stay some where else.

Review 17：The TV reception was snowy and the HBO channel picture was extremely poor and barely visible. The furniture was old and chipped. Motel is located in a high crime area of Chula Vista. Maid Staff were only able to supply 1 face cloth even after a specific request was made for one more.

Review 19：Did not have my booking right on there end. Tried to turn on heater, on the air-cond unit,didn't work. Had to choose either the loud noise the unit made or try to watch TV ? So I choose to be a little chilly and watch TV. Reported it to front desk that morning, she made like it could not be true. Moved to another room when one became available.

Review 21：The room was filthy. It appeared as though it hadn't been cleaned in years. Two huge spiders on the wall. Ants in the sink. The tub was grimy. The door had dirt and grime all over it. The trees outside damaged my car with seeds falling out of the tree. Very shady people renting the other rooms. The whole hotel and pool area smelled like marijuana. Poor breakfast, not even worth walking down to get. One towel in the bathroom, and attitude from staff when asking for more. The TV remote didn't work. The door had to be chained and locked bc it did not close properly. Absolutely disgusted with this hotel and I wish I could get a refund. My son got seriously sick during our stay and I am sure it's from the cleanliness of the room.

Review 23：My older daughter was asked if she knew where to buy heroin. We had ants in are restroom and vanity area. They had actual tenants that stayed on the property as live in and they appeared to me as being on some kind of narcotic.

Review 27：Very basic continental breakfast (pastries and juice only); cereal and fruit would be a nice addition. Wifi worked but was extremely slow, so I switched back to my mobile network for internet. TV was unplugged in our room when we arrived but could not be plugged back in due to security mechanism on the TV, and after-hours maintenance was not available to fix the problem. No iron/ironing board (description listed this as available in the room).

Review 28：Bed was very comfortable and clean. Room was clean (except for a few rogue ants). Staff was friendly and moved us to another room with working tv after we informed them that our room's tv didn't work (see "didn't like" section). Bathroom was clean and shower had good water pressure. Room had microwave/fridge combo (didn't know room came with that). Local area around the Inn felt safe.

Review 29：There is almost no Wi-Fi reception at the second floor. Because of Comic-Con 2014 in San Diego the room was very expensive, too expensive for its facilities.

Review 64：Aftter searching online, I decided to stay at Vagabond due to the location and the cost. The room was comfortable and clean and they offer a decent Continential breakfast in the morning plus in room coffee, microwave and fridge. The 2 staff members that I spoke with at check-in and check-out were cordial and helpful. Additional note: I stayed at the Vagabond due to the fact that the area I live in had what is referred to as a planned electrical power outage from 10pm to 6am the following morning. Since It was a chilly and rainy night, I decided to make this stay a mini-vacation,,,it was a lot better than spending the night at home without heat and power.
