Reviews for Amasra Ceylin Bed & Breakfast

Review 1:It is located on the hill, little bit far from city center. But hotel owner can pick you up if you call the reception.

Review 2:I am in Turkey for 3 years and travel a lot. Ceylin is the best hotel among all hotels I had stayed. It is so clean!!!!

Review 3:The shower leaked a lot making the floor slippery and dangerous. The cigarette smoke from the people in the room next door came into our bedroom. Would be a good idea to have a non-smoking floor. Lack of an elevator may make the climb to the 4th and 5th floors too much for some people, but, thankfully, we welcomed the exercise.

Review 4:The views from our bedroom and balcony; delicious breakfast especially the home-made fig jam.

Review 5:Amasra is run by a very personable guy with very good English who really went out of his way to make our trip enjoyable. He helped us do our laundry, made us an excellent breakfast, and gave us some really cool travel/destination tips.

Review 6:If you do not have car, communicate with the hotel maybe they take you , because it is difficult to reach wo car.

Review 7:Staff and the owner is very helpful.. Turkish coffee after breakfast is very good.. breakfast not bad..

Review 8:Amazing views - large spacious room. Beautiful breakfasts with herbs picked fresh from the garden. Lovely family hotel. Only drawback was lack of walking distance from town, although Mehmet gave us a lift in on our departure.

Review 9:Odada telefon yok. No telephone in rooms.

Sahipleri cok ilgili.tavsiye ederim. Otel is located at the top of Amasra, view is very nice. Has balcony, no air conditioner but not hot at night- stayed in may for four days, never get hot.most important point is that otel is very clean and friendly environment. Family-owned business and they are so kind and helpful. Recommended.

Review 11:The hotel is not in the city centre or near shops, but we had a car so this was fine (in fairness, though, its only a 5 min taxi ride away). Personally, we were glad that we didn't stay in the clamour and busyness of the port area, but others could feel differently.

Review 12:Hotel is run by a wonderful family (Mehmet lived for 14 years in Canada, so his English is great!), who took great care of us. Our room was fabulously clean and airy, and had a beautiful view of the Black sea from all windows/patios:D

Review 13:The bed was two single pushed together which was a bit uncomfortable. Location wasn't close to town but the shuttles were fine to take and cheap.

Review 14:The owner was more than very helpful and helped us with any questions we had about nearby places to visit and places to eat in town. Very clean and beautiful balcony view. Great tasty breakfast

Review 15:Clean and comfortable with lovely friendly staff.

Review 16:Road

Review 17:Friendly staff cleanliness

Review 18:We had a suite, which was very roomy. Very friendly staff. Very clean place.

Review 19:overpriced and away from the city center.(good if you have a car )

Review 20:Clean and friendly staff .

Review 21:This facility should not be called a hotel, it is a kind of luxury pension. No elevator.Price may not worth. Should be less expensive.

Review 22:Owner is very polite. Everthing is clean. Owner and his wife tries to do everthing such as receptionist , bellboy, waiter.

Review 23:View to Black Sea is marred by electrical utility lines

Review 24:Friendliness of owner. Carried bag up the stairs. Good info about local restaurants. Standard breakfast.

Review 25:Difficulty to walking down the town as it's a little bit far (1.7km) as the street is dangerous (narrow with turns) Room was a little bit too small No keetle for tea/coffee Lack of elevator (several floors) not very pleasant with heavy luggage.

Review 26:Owners very friendly Room & bathroom very clean Balcony with chairs & table Internet works very well Free car-park in front of the hotel Standard breakfast buffet very good

Review 27:The hotel is right next to the road, and I thought we would have a better view of the Black Sea.

Review 28:The owners were very sweet and helpful. The hotel is outside of Amasra a bit, but that is not necessarily a bad thing. The rooms were extremely clean.

Review 29:Cleanliness of room. Great view from room. Staff willing to help in any way possible and very friendly even though language was sometimes a problem. Facility well maintained so everything worked. Easy parking

Review 30:The hotel is situated outside of the city itself, however the view to the old town and the harbor is marvelous! It can be easily accessed from the main road and the staff in the hotel is extremely kind!

Review 31:Amasra is not a place for people travelling on their own. To reach the hotel or anything around Amasra a vehicle is necessary.
