Reviews for Timur Hotel

Review 1:As mentionned by someone, you probably could find cheaper and nicer by looking around town (full of small B&Bs) The rooms are alright, but definitely not the freshest I've seen.

Review 2:The staff is really nice, and, tho it is a very small town, so either way you wouldn't be far from anything, the location hyper convenient. Beautifull small town.

Review 3:I don't think you have to book a place to stay in advance if you're traveling Amasra: there are way more "hidden" accommodations and they're fairly nice & way cheaper. Room was not so clean: bathroom was a bit moldy.

Review 4:Location was easy to find from the bus terminal, had a nice lobby, my room was bigger than I expected for a solo traveler (had 1 double bed & 1 single bed). Staffs were nice, speak English.

Review 5:Great location. Staff somewhat 'detached' but very professional. Breakfasts good and cleanliness reasonable. Stayed one night, then found better and cheaper by myself.

Review 6:-From our experience seemed a bit expensive for Turkey

Review 7:-Great location in centre of town -Friendly and helpful staff -Decent breakfast -Beautiful water views

Review 8:no elevator, breakfast was poor, especially for kids we had to buy the milk from the shop cos they didn't have it

Review 9:room was big enough for 5 of us ,air conditioning and shower was good

Review 10:The bathroom is very small. More of all, the room hasn't been cleaned once in 3 days!! We had to ask for papertoilets and new towels. Finally, it's a little expensiv for the confort and the services wich are provided.

Review 11:Location View on the sea from the bedroom

Review 12:Small rooms. Everything a bit squeezed. AC either didn't work or was set to turn off every 15 minutes or so.

Review 13:Nice breakfast. Excellent water pressure! Good location right in the middle of town.

Review 14:It just isn't a nice hotel. Everything is old and worn out. The room is small with hardly any place to sit other than on the bed. The bathroom needs renovation. The hallway and steps Are dirty. The doors must be banged to close-lock them. The lobby is a Store front where the stray dog off the street also likes to reside. Only air conditioning was working well. Just rundown place.

Review 15:Staff was good. Helpful and professional

Review 16:The room was extremely small and very noisy. The worst thing was the smell of cigarette smoke. It felt as if someone was smoking inside our room. At one point I had to leave the room as it was difficult to breathe normally inside the room. There were cats everywhere, mainly in the breakfast room and of course the place smelled like cats. Also, the television did not work. We asked the hotel staff to fix it. The following day we were able to watch a few channels, but then the signal went out again.

Review 17:The location, right in the middle of the town.

Review 18:Proximity to minaret and Ramadan holiday drumming celebration - starting at 2:00 AM! Small bathroom, poor shower system. Breakfast selection extremely limited. No / slow internet in room. Pricey for what it was.

Review 19:Very helpful, nice staff upon check in; helping us park our car and bring suitcases upstairs. Central and convenient location.

Review 41:Very good location and view from window. Amazing place to stay and visit Amasra. Very nice personnel but only one speaks english so prepare you're turkish.

Review 42:Far too expensive for what it was offering. Tinny rooms. Full of mosquitoes. The widow was opposite house veranda so you couldn't open it

Review 43:Central location, friendly staff

Review 44:The walls are thin, so you can hear when others on the floor enter/exit their room or talk in the hallway. However, this was not happening at all hours and was reasonable.

Review 45:After reading other reviews I was a bit worried but had limited options. For the money this was a prime location and comfortable room only a few minutes from the beach. The A/C in the room was great as well!

Review 46:The room with 2 beds was very tiny, but I didnt go to Amasra to stay atthe hotel so it was good.
