Reviews for Best Western Town and Country Inn

Review 1:Seemed a little older and run down, though it was clean. Toilet plugged, and their maintenance didn't come unplug it, they just brought us a toilet plunger to do it ourselves.

Review 2:Bed and pillows were comfortable. Location of pool pretty centered. Hot breakfast was pretty good! Seemed clean.

Review 3:All was good.

Review 4:Everything was wonderful. Fast internet, big flat screen tv, free breakfast, friendly staff. One of the people in our group left his wallet in the room when we checked out. We came back three hours later and the housekeeper had turned it in... all cash and cards were there. THANK YOU !!

Review 5:The thing that I didn't like is that the tv didn't work. I was told that someone was working on it and it should be working soon. The next morning the tv still didn't work.

Review 6:The checking was easy and quick, parking in front of the room was possible, clean and spacy room, bathroom was not possible to heat, so we went in in wintertime, it was very chilly in the bathroom.

Review 7:Their policies are a disgrace. They have free coffee, soap, shampoo, use of the hair drier and ironing board etc- all in there for the convenience of the customer right? Who would think that a couple of bottles of water in the cooler would incur a charge - particularly an $8 charge without any notification what-so ever that there was one.

Review 8:Breakfast food was less than expected --potatoes were cold and dry; breakfast burrito had very little stuffing and contained mostly flour tortilla; only one choice available for yogurt.

Review 9:Location

Review 10:Didn't like having to cross busy road even at traffic lights toget to the hot tub & swimming pool & exercise room .(Dangerous to be honest, as can't rely on drivers to not turn atlights even when you are signaled to go as a pedestrian !) The factthat the extra space needed for the coffee maker was not close to theelectric socket - so you had to move the coffee maker each time - toensure here was space for personal items on left side of basin.(Remember the room is for 2 people !)

Review 11:Spacious room with all facilities like microwave, fridge & coffeemaker. Breakfast was good & nice variety - especially liked thefresh fruit & yoghurt availability,

Review 12:Nothing comes to mind

Review 13:Very friendly staff; stuffed up the booking and there was only one bed for the two of us but without hesitation they brought bedding so I could sleep on the couch. Very much a "no problem" attitude delivered in a very friendly way.

Review 14:Excellent location, right next door to Depot Grill which is a great restaurant! Bed was very comfy, room was clean and despite being on a main road, the room was quiet. Breakfast had a range of continental items and some hot options.

Review 15:If there's an outside pool, we didn't see it. Rooms aren't large, but there is room enough for 4.

Review 16:Location in Cedar City. Nice restaurant in walking distance. Staff most friendly and helpful. Breakfast area clean and roomy. Nice to be able to sit outside. Good laundry room.

Review 17:Clean room, friendly and accommodating staff. We would definitely stay here again! While it was nothing fancy, it certainly met our needs and we were able to get our requested adjoining rooms which was great. Easy walking distance to whatever we needed. The pizza place around the corner is awesome!

Review 18:swimming pool just open from 8 til 10...didnt really get the purpose of it.that is time for breakfast and get ready to go hiking ...gym the same...poor breakfast for price

Review 19:clean and good space in the room

Review 20:Checking in took longer - front desk staff wasn't the most efficient / they were understaffed.

Review 21:Room was great- very clean. Beds were comfortable and wifi was decently fast. Very comfortable stay.

Review 22:Business Center printer was out of toner and wouldn't print our boarding passes. Although we notified them they never were able to remedy the situation.

Review 23:On Friday night, the Millard County high school track and field team came in. They arrived at 9:15, and were VERY loud. Banging doors, loud talk, no thought or courtesy for others. Then the next morning at 6:15 the same thing. VERY disruptive and rude.

Review 24:We loved all the scenery and things to do! People very friendly.

Review 25:Some of the amenities (i.e. dining) in Cedar City itself leave much to be desired.

Review 26:The best part of this hotel was it's location in relative equidistance to the major national parks in Utah. They also have a very hardy breakfast buffet that is complimentary.

Review 27:All comforts available, short drive from freeway. Cedar City is a good stopover point when driving back or visiting the Kolob Canyons area of Zion National Park

Review 28:noisy aircon/heating (if you need it off course)

Review 29:big rooms, clean rooms, good beds. friendly front desk staff, somebody gave me a superb adress to have diner !

Review 30:Affordable. Good location. Outside is dated but rooms are clean with comfortable beds. Didn't hear the noise of neighbors at all. Crowded on Easter weekend and couldn't get breakfast table but I am told it was good. Service was good - had phone call immediately after check-in to assure everything met our expectations

Review 31:Booked motel for indoor heated pool, but the pool was so cold we were not able to swim for more than a few minutes. Ventilatin system as blowing extremely cold air which made the experience even worse. Staff stated the the pool temp and air was set at the temperature as instructed by Management. Very disappoint

Review 32:Room and common areas very clean.

Review 33:We basically just stopped in Cedar City to sleep on our way from Colorado to California. This hotel was comfortable, easy to find from the highway, and the breakfast was very good.

Review 34:There aren't any free weights in the work out room. Non-cardio options were limited The curtain didn't completely obscure the view into the room from the outside.

Review 35:The hot breakfast was surprisingly nice. The room was clean, and it was nice to have the refrigerator. The hot tub was a nice place to relax after snowboarding.

Review 36:A lot. The hotel doesnt have a military discount that beats booking website prices. The breakfast in the room was very expensive. We paid over $60 for two people. The staff at the front desk couldn't offer any way to make up for the inability to utilize a military discount in some other fashion. Offering us a fresh baked cookie but no complementary breakfast, gift card for the bar, or discounted dinner seemed childish and silly.

Review 37:The room. The availability. The facilities. The cookie.

Review 38:We had a room with neighbors who blasted? their TV until 1am and then again at 4am. Was it our neighbors or are the walls paper thin? Hotel rooms are accessed by the outdoors.

Review 39:Room was clean and beds were comfortable. The breakfast buffet was very nice.

Review 40:The jacuzzi appeared to not be very clean and it was full each time we tried to use it. The heaters in the pool room were not on the 2nd night we were there.

Review 41:The breakfast included with the room was quite impressive.

Review 42:Bathroom light was on the fritz, but that was all. Really enjoyed the stay.

Review 43:Breakfast was very nice. Beds were cozy and rooms were adequate size for the price.

Review 44:Vanity area where the coffee pot sat had no outlet so you had to move coffee pot to restroom or nightstand to use. Only outlet in bathroom would not accept hotel blowdryer due to mirror location. This was discussed with staff on checkout to be looked into.

Review 45:Location was good, Room was comforable on 2nd floor. Vanity area outside of restroom is nice when more than one person staying. Great variety at Breakfast buffet with courteous staff.

Review 46:Room not big. We had a room in a corner of the building and it was very dark.

Review 47:Staff was very friendly and gave us good advice about restaurants. Breakfast was nothing special but okay. Location was good when you're traveling around.

Review 48:There was only 1 bathroom outlet and it was covered by the mirror frame so I couldn't use my blow dryer or hair appliances.

Review 49:Excellent property if not for the unusable bathroom outlet.

Review 50:When I searched hotels for Bryce Canyon, this hotel popped up first as recommended. Unfamiliar with the area, I booked it. Upon arrival, I learned it was 90 minutes away. The hotel let me cancel the second night. This issue is not with the hotel, but with Booking. The hotel was really lovely and I appreciated the flexibility of the staff.

Review 51:Clean, updated, quiet, spacious

Review 52:This feels a little picky--because they offer a "free" breakfast, which is very nice. However, the hot portion of the breakfast was disappointing. The eggs don't seem to be eggs; the sausage doesn't seem to be sausage; the hash browns don't seem to be potatoes. T With a few pennies of cost or even a small fee, we could have had a quality breakfast. While we appreciated the convenience and cost, I think management should consider taking the hot foods up a few notches.

Review 53:The closeness to the Shakespeare Festival was great. The rooms are nice, clean, and comfortable. We liked the breakfast to get coffee, tea, fruit, and cereal. The hot waffles were good and the variety offered plenty options to start the day.

Review 54:We could not get the room dark enough as the drapes did not close all the way and left far too much light in. The indoor spa was much too small and the pool water was ice cold. The breakfast was passable but we did not partake in it. The foreign tourists smoked outdoors, and the seating area was not enough. We wound up going back to our room to have a breakfast we brought from outside. When we returned from the Festival, we had a difficult time finding a parking spot near our room.

Review 55:The location was close by to the Utah Shakespearean Festival. The rooms were clean and for the most-part comfortable. There was a Sizzler restaurant kind of on the property..

Review 56:Need a towel bar near the sink/dressing area

Review 57:This is a very nice, clean motel where I've stayed several times before. It is convenient to downtown, the campus and to the mountains. The beds are comfortable and they provide a refrigerator and a clean remote for the TV. Over all, it is a great value for the money.

Review 58:Cleanliness, the fact that our room was on the ground floor and easy access to downtown. Next time I would have liked to attend the Shakespeare Festival that is world renown. You did not advertise this event enough.

Review 59:We avoided the outside pool because we heard it wasnt heated.

Review 60:Comfort was very nice, clean, lovely pools, location is right across from the City Park which happened to be hosting the Renaissance Fair at the time. Also Sizzler restaurant is on the same corner property which is a great plus. The donuts served at breakfast were very good!!

Review 61:It rained once. But I got over it.

Review 62:This is one of the best facilities I've visited. It offers the usual necessaries at an affordable price, with the added feature of being utterly hospitable (imagine that!), accessible, clean, quiet and attractive. Maybe the posies don't mean much for some folks, but for the personal touches mean that somebody cares about this place, not just a commercial asset but as a temporary residence that feels like home. The staff was responsive to our needs and were quick to replace a defective refrigerator--very important because my wife has medicine that must be refrigerated. High marks also go to the people who designed this place, because it seems like a cove, serene and safe, where people can enjoy their liesure. Good job!

Review 63:Nothing

Review 94:Friendly staff and great breakfast.

Review 95:Cleanliness and excellent bed

Review 96:The room was very well appointed. Lovely linens, and quality bed and furniture.

Review 97:It was a bit loud. There were a lot of young kids making a lot of noise outside the room and main street is pretty close.

Review 98:It was just an overnight stay but very clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend location and price!

Review 99:Heater only always on or always off. Carpet badly stained. No breakfast included.

Review 108:Helpful staff. Excellent Mexican restaurant nearby.

Review 109:Small rooms

Review 118:Clean. No smokey smell. Close to Shakespearean festival. No complaints.

Review 119:Nothing really.
