Set a 20-minute walk away from the shores of Lake Bohinj, Hostel Bohinj is located in the middle of Alpine village of Stara Fuzina in the Triglav National Park. It offers accommodation in simple Alpine style.
Hostel Bohinj’s rooms are fitted with solid wooden furniture and offer beautiful panoramic views. They provide access to a shared bathroom facility and many rooms include a private washbasin. The apartment house is separated from the hostel building.
A large living room with a traditional tiled stove and satellite TV is provided, as well as a fully equipped kitchen which can be used by guests for free. A large garden surround the house. It includes a barbecue terrace, free Wi-Fi and a private parking.

Review 6：We arrived late and after check out time, but the hostess had been so kind to leave the key somewhere for us. But it was a bit odd that we did not meet our friendly hosts or anyone from reception the following 2 days, until we were about to leave and called them up to ask how/who we could pay for the room.

Review 7：Good quality for the price, comfortable room, balcony near room where I could have a sigaret with my coffee, hostel is not to big, free parking, located in authentic village with chaotic narrow streets and some facilities, but no huge hotels, casinos, Mcdonalds or tourist-circus, mostly eco tourism. Beautiful mountains, lake and waterfalls just some kilometers away.

Review 8：Everything was perfect about out stay here. The owner is extremely friendly. It's a few minute drive down to the beautiful lake and town of Bohinj. There are lots of things to do in the town like walking, paddle boarding, paragliding the list is endless. The hostel is a perfect distance away from everything. It was extremely clean throughout with a fully equipt kitchen and the shower was superb. Amazing views of the valley through every window. Highly recommend this place

Review 9：A great hostel in a beautiful village! I was surprised, that it is rated so low, because the room was nice and clean, as well as the bathroom and kitchen. A great cost quality ratio in my opinion. Besides that the location is great, near the Bohinj Lake and nearby hiking attractions. The owner is also very nice! I can only describe the hostel with superlatives and I'd recommend anybody to stay there.

Review 11：Everything is so good! The village that the hostel locates is lovely and peaceful. The staff is helpful and responsive. Though it takes 15 mins to walk to the lake, the journey can be quite enjoyable.

Review 12：The location was perfect for me. if you like nature this place is for you. They have a beautiful lakes, streams, and waterfalls all within hiking difference. There is restaurants, grocery stores, and tourist all within walking distance from the apartment. The wifi worked awesome. Great experience. I will be returning.

Review 24：Very friendly owner. He helped us a lot with information about the Bohinj area. Super clean and new bathrooms. Kitchen is also brand new and functional. The best of all is the view from windows - mountains from each side, and the fact that you can start hiking from Hostel without using car.

Review 25：First off we booked a room in the hostel, upon arrival we had received an upgrade to the apartment next door. The place is a bit hard too find when you get there at first, but basically you can't go wrong in the village, all roads are very connected, and very narrow.. something you want to note before you set off to the place with a camper. With the apartment we received 2 passes for the skibus that therefor was free, great service, in addition we got a coupon for 20% discount on our skipasses. Overall the whole apartment is very clean and neat, it has all the facilities you can expect from a holiday apartment and you won't miss anything. Location wise the apartment is well situated. It is fairly easy to get back on the main road in case you want to visit some other towns. Walking to the skibus is less than 5 minutes. Both supermarkets can also be found in under 5 minutes walking distance. If we have the chance we would definitely go back here!

Review 26：More like a home than a hostel, we had a double room on the first floor which had its own sink, mirror, cupboard, bedside tables etc. There is also a lovely large kitchen on the ground floor with a big dining table (very well stocked with utensils, if you like to cook) as well as a common lounge area. We also saw a second kitchen on the top floor, which also had a large table for groups - so plenty of space for guests. Bathrooms were immaculate, in fact the staff take pride in keeping everything VERY clean (so guests follow suit, which is a nice change!) On our second night there were two large groups in the hostel and we felt a bit outnumbered, but upon speaking to the owner they offered us one of their apartments next door. It was SO gorgeous we ended up staying 3 more nights!! Everything was just so comfortable and the location is fantastic - close to the lake as well as other walking routes (and of course the skiing). Everything you want in a mountain retreat - winter or summer this would be a fabulous place to stay. They couldn't have been more helpful with providing information and even made calls for us re. a hire car. Thank you so much, we will definitely be back!

Review 28：What a gem of an accommodation. Like a home away from home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend it. Very comfortable and clean. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need (except a toaster, but you can toast in the oven) and there is a nice living room as well. A great place to meet other like minded travellers and/ or relax. Beautiful countryside as well. We hope to return one day.

Review 29：We were there in early October and we were almost alone- just two moregroups of two were staying at this large hostel. We never actually seenthe staff, we just talked with them using the phone in place. We werethree and got a room for fiveall alone in the upper floor- meaning wewere the only ones using the shared bathroom. Room and bathroom werevery clean, kitchen in good condition. The near by restaurant isexcellent, and there 10% discount coupons in the hostel

Review 32：Bohinj lake and mountains are beautiful. The aparmant was fully equipped (there was even coffee and tee bags too). Everything is rather new inside. The restaurant in the near is quite good. The lake and the hiking paths are near.
