Review 1：it was too cold in the room (traveled in January). Cleaning staff was a bit annoying coming often. But it is not a reason not to chose this hotel.
Review 2：Great location, there are all available sights nearby, also the street with the nice shops. Also to the bus stop from/to the Airport. Hotel is nice, room is big and clean, bathroom is huge. Breakfast was really good.

Review 6：Reception staff were very helpful especially one lady who went out of her way to help us download our photo files. Our room was very spacious and comfortable with excellent facilities and the breakfast was very good. Complimentary coffee and tea available at all times. Highly recommended.

Review 8：We stayed in a room that had been modernised, so it was really nice. On the weekend, there is a good chance to get a free paerking spot nearby. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast buffet was wonderful (fresh smoothies, waffle maker, glutenfree alternatives, freshly squeezed orange-juice, a variety of bread from a local bakery, fish, cereals, croissants etc.). The location is ideal for exploring the city.

There was also a very long wait for coffee or tea due to thechoice to provide only one self-service machine for the entire diningroom. Review 19：Lovely modern and bright. The underground parking associated with hotel does not recognise a non Norwegian number plate so could not pay into machine... Free for other country plates!
Review 20：The view was the worst ever. And the room was very noisy because of fan or something from outside of the window. There was an empty beer can in the room. The bathroom amenity was empty.
Review 21：The room wasn't cleaned every day. Several stairs to enter the hotel - may be problematic for tourists with heavy laguage, travelling with children or seniors. The room was quite small, and 'twin' meaning two beds put together with little space on both sides.

Hotel staffs were friendly. The room was clean and designed with modern Scandinavian design. Please note that basic room doesn't contain a kettle.

Review 35：- People; helpfull, friendly - Location: 5-10 minutes walking to turist information, to harbor, to bus station, to ferry station, to Aksla stairs, 1 minute to shopping centre and main shopping streets, 3 food shops nearby - Breakfast: NOT SWEET WAFFLES!!! - Tee and coffe; in the lobby as well as in the room for free - Sound proof: my room was basicly on the stairs, opposite to the elevator - I haven't heart a thing! - Building: it is not a usuall "cubicle hotel" as some other city's hotels. This one is situated in one of original "jugendstill"-buildings from 1905 - View: not a direct view over water and fjords etc, since hotel is in the middle of the city and not a modern-y facelos "skyscratcher". As mentioned, the buildind is one of the 1905-dated, so not higher than the others. Nevertheless, I got a view along the street, so I could see theese celebrity jugendstill-architecture - and a pice of water too. So - complete win.

Review 37：The restaurant in the cellar is obviously constantly overbooked and doesn't even let you wait for a table at the bar. Our room was pretty small (still OK, though)Biggest problem, however, was the AC - it was very cold in the room and we coudn't heat it up.

Review 40：Noisy outside. The bathroom was huge and had underfloor heading - lovely in winter but not when it's warm, as it can't be turned off. So sleep with the window open and enjoy the antics of the drunks outside.
