Review 1：Great location, the downstairs lounge and outback tables were great places to unwind with some cheese and wine, before heading back to cosy and well appointed rooms.
Review 2：Its a beautiful quite central place, if you want to unwind and relax this is your place. Close to bush walking and restaurants/shops. Was great that it had a spa, wifi and free movies. The lovely couple who look after the place certainly leave you to it, but are available at the drop of a hat should you need anything at all.

Review 4：What a delightful Guest House right on a beautiful tropical flowing stream. Very comfortable rooms in a stunning location, looked after by friendly hosts It is clean, spacious with a relaxing atmosphere and a great large Guest lounge to chill out. Spent 4 nights on our holidays. 10 mins walk to Irish Pub for meals, then walked to Bowls club and caught the free shuttle bus back to Stonehaven. Also close to waterfalls down the road. Was perfect for us. The grounds were well kept and we had a glass of wine sitting near the stream.

Review 8：It's a quiet location, the rooms are large but warm and private. The staff are welcoming and friendly. The facility is lovely in general. The spa was a definite highlight.

I enjoyed a hot spa in my room and also close to lots of different foods. The owners are very lovely and welcoming! It's a very homely place with beautiful landscapes as well :)

Review 12：Very friendly and helpful service. The guesthouse is something very different to where I’ve stayed before, our stay exceeded expectation. The back garden is wonderful and very relaxing. The room is spacious and very clean. We loved all the artwork and props around the place. Location is great.
Review 13：Location was great, the stream running through the back of the grounds is beautiful and is where my partner proposed to me on sunday morning which was just perfect scenery. It was a relaxing weekend and now holds a special part in our hearts and will definitely be back.

The outside of the building looked like it was in need of a good clean & freshen up The lounge area had a "wet dog" smell (x3 resident dogs so guessing they may spend a bit of time there) These are minor & certainly didnt impact our stay will definitely return.
Review 19：Everything.. value for money as it was mid week & last minute. Beautiful king size room with comfy chairs & bed. Huge selection of DVD's to choose from lovely themed downstairs sittingroom with fireplace. Close to everything. Friendly welcome.

Review 21：Spa was not working properly. The water got cold and didn't get hot even after waiting for 3 hours. A weak water heating system is a shame for a hotel that claims to have 4 stars. The room is very simple and lacking some basic appliances like microwave.

Review 37：The guesthouse is exactly as depicted online, if not better. The rooms have a genuine Scottish theme, are spacious and very clean. Beds are very comfortable. The grounds are stunning and peaceful - a manicured rainforest oasis with many fauna. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming. This is a great, romantic adult retreat.

Review 52：The road noise disturbed me in the early morning, a light sleeper, but if we'd closed the window fully I think it would have helped. Would not like to visit in winter due to couldn't see any heater in the bathroom and would find it very cold. Would like warning that the room would be serviced/bed made as we've never had that except in hotels where we are prepared for it. Being private people, we would have tidied up our personal belongings prior.

Free Wi Fi Altogether a most relaxing and enjoyable holiday close to restaurants and town if so required.

Review 65：Perfect location - easy walk in one direction to Curtis Falls bushwalk and easy walk in other direction to all the shops. It's off the main road but you can't hear any traffic. It has a beautiful big garden with a creek down the back. Room was spacious with lovely high ceiling and big spa bath. Highly recommend
Review 66：This is my second visit and enjoyed it as much as the first. I love the grounds and stream out the back which we enjoyed over lunch which was shared with many a Kookaburra. Great location with a comfortable beautiful room for our short romantic stay.

Great if you just want a nice room for a night or two, with so many places to eat near by, although breakfast amenities are available in the huge shared lounge room with a lovely gas fireplace. Lots of old world charm in this place. Very warm and cosy. Host was very lovely also.
