Review 1：Location was not so great - 20min away from the center in a bit dodgy area. Althrough it is an hotel, the room was not made during our stay.

Review 3：The hotel is about a kilometer from the main part of town, requiring a bit of a walk or a taxi.

Review 6：The hotel is very good for visiting Baikal! The administrator was very nice and helpful, greeted us well, arranged laundry in a short time. The facilities are great, there is banya (pity we didn't have time to try it out), breakfast was very filling and tasty. Nice big rooms, clean. Nothing to complaint about. I would surely recommend it!

Review 7：It was a nightmare. We booked an apartment because we were 5 people, for which we payed more than a regular hostel, but the woman in charge told us the apartment wasn't available. Instead she put us in two bedroom and added a matress which she insisted was a bed. She was extremely rude. And now I received an email where she stated we weren't there, so booking.com wants to charge me cancelation policy. Now I have to waste time contacting booking.com to tell them we were there and paid. AVOID AT ALL COST.

Review 10：Except the staff, everything was bad. No internet, dirty and cold rooms, dirty cups and spoons .... No English. We had to wait 15 minutes for someone to open the hotel door in the middle of the afternoon. Once you check out, the only toilet available are the medieval wooden box in the garden. There are no words to describe to describe those.

Review 37：The hotel is about 300 meters from the main street, which makes it very quiet. It is family managed, and the staff is extremely kind, they accommodate all your needs beyond expectations; their hospitality is outstanding. Although we do not speak Russian and they do not speak English, we could communicate by speaking with gestures. The hotel is made of three structures with guest rooms and the owners' house around a central court where a few cars can park. We were on the second floor above the cafeteria and the supermarket (which belongs to the same structure but opens on the street side) and we had also some view of lake Baikal. On our floor there was a large veranda in common with 3-4 other rooms with a microwave, a refrigerator, and a few wooden benches with seats. Anyhow, if there is something you need that is is not already provided, Galina (the manager-owner) will make sure you get it and right away. One last thing that made our stay comfortable: although it was June, the night temperatures were still quite low, but contrary to the hotels in other Siberian cities where we had been during the same trip, at Dauria Hotel the heater was turned on.

Review 38：We were in the self-catering apartment. A kitchen sink would have been useful but we managed using the handbasin.

Review 39：Galina who ran the hotel could not have been nicer or kindler. The shop was probably the best in Listvyankia. Nice views of Baikal and surrounding woods. Good heating system.

The owners were very helpful the family apartment with 2 bedroomshas views of the lake from bedroom and has a real rustic wooden charm ofski lodge wonderful !! Review 45：Make sure you agree with the owner about the costs of all the extra facilities like bikes (we thought it was a per day cost but no it was per hour!) and banya. Location is not the best. What you have to know about Listvyanka is that the village is quite long, the city "center" with the main bus stop, most of the restaurants and market is on the right and the Baikal Museum and ViewPoint is on the left, between there's several km and Dauria Hotel is almost in the middle, so you will have to walk quite a lot (especially for reaching the ViewPoint), nothing impossible, but it's something you should know when visiting this village. Renting a bike is surely a good option (wether you stay in Dauria or another hotel).

Review 46：The owner was friendly, even though he wasn't speaking english. The room is cosy with a very specific style and you have everything that you need. There's bikes, banya, wi-fi and a view (a bit far) from the lake. It's really a nice place to stay.

It is a bit of a hike from the main bus stop but once you know where you are you can just flag down a bus for the return journey. Review 51：Open, friendly, polite personel. Comfortable (low)middle-budget family hotel. Perfect location - almost in the center. They have just cafe, but for breakfast it's enought. for lunch and for dinner in Listvyanka there are a lot of nice places with good and tasty food.
