Opened in June 2009, the award-winning Bohinj Park is the first ecological hotel in Slovenia. It offers a filling station for electric and hybrid cars. The hotel's restaurant serves Slovenian and international cuisine, as well as special vegetarian and low-calorie dishes prepared with eco-certified ingredients of local origin.
All rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows which can be wide open, as well as hypoallergenic carpets. Each room is air-conditioned and comes with floor heating, a flat-screen TV, a minibar, bathrobes and slippers.
Guests can enjoy an exclusive wellness and spa area on the top floor of the Bohinj Park Eco Hotel including saunas and a pool offering panoramic views. Guests staying in most rooms also have a free entrance to the Aquapark that spreads over 3.500 m2 and features indoor and outdoor pools, water slides and various water attractions for children.
In the winter months you can enjoy various activities, including skiing, ice skating on Bohinj Lake, winter hiking, ski-mountaineering, snowshoe hiking, winter horseback riding and much more. A storage room for ski equipment is available.

Review 1：The aquapark is small and crowded. Swimming not possible. Jacuzzi should be off limits to small children.

Review 12：This hotel is my opinion should be 3 star maximum. I love the idea of a eco hotel but this hotel is very dreary. The air con in the rooms gets switched off at night making it impossible to sleep in the hot rooms. The towels were all frayed and washed out. The napkins were old and shabby. The pool area was not very appealing. There was only 5 parasols for the whole pool which often meant there was no where to shade in the 37 degree heat. The sun loungers were very old and worn and the hotel just didn't have an appealing feel to it. Again as in most hotels in Slovenia, smoking is allowed everywhere if you are outdoors, the pool, terrace etc. There is nothing to do in the evenings after dinner. I didn't partly enjoy the buffet food either. The veg was frozen veg and there was a lot of processed food which does not appeal to me. For a 5 star hotel I would expect a bit more. I think the pictures on the website make the hotel look quite nice but in reality its a little drab.

Review 13：The staff were all very nice. It is a good location for touring around lake bohinj however there is nothing to do in the evenings. The hotel doesn't really have a lounge/bar just a lobby with some seats which is not very appealing.

Review 14：They should do something about the wifi, because the signal is horrible and also in some rooms the mobile signal is also bad. Checking work stuff was quite a hard thing to do.

Review 15：Except for the horrible wifi, the hotel is very nice. Location is great for hiking. Inside of the hotel is fairly new, so it's quite modern, very clean and the staff is great. The food could be a bit more special, still the self service breakfast and dinner are tasty and diverse. Wine selection is plentiful enough to represent Slovenia as a wine country, but they could expand their selection of beers, since we have much more than just two breweries. Swimming pool and sauna area is quite small but nice and not crowded.

Review 17：The fitness centre in the Aquapark didnt have the equipment it said it did on the website - only 2 old stationary bikes, no treadmills, no elliptical. It was a bit of a shame not to have access to these things on days when the weather was bad. Also not airconfitioned

Review 22：The air conditioner in the room is a central one. The hotel is supposed to switch it on centrally at 6AM and off at 11PM every day. We were freezing during the times the AC was on and had no control over it.

The breakfast food is quite bland. The wellness (sauna and pools) are not 5 stars. The choice of movies at the cinema is mostly for kids. We will not come back.

Review 34：Aqua Park is really poor - it shouldn't be a part of any 5* property. We were really sad when we came down there, then we decided to try exclusive wellness. Also you would expect design to be modern, but there are so many terrible details, that make the hotel looks cheap. Breakfast is not the five star at all, I tried some, but my wife just had a coffee, which was also poor.

Review 35：This was a part of our honeymoon and staff made a beautiful welcome in our room with rose petals, sparkling wine and fruits. Beautiful gesture. Exclusive wellness is something that we will remember for a lifetime - we had to pay additional 40€ but it was worth it - we had a beautiful pool and saunas just for ourselves for a few hours. Modern, all in glass, wood and stone at the roof top of the hotel. Very romantic. Also we tried massages which were very good.

Review 36：The food choice at breakfast and dinner was more 3star than 5star hotel and a big minus is that rooms habe only showers with no removable shower head so if you want to bathe a small child you need to hold him up to the shower. Very unpractical.

You cannot leave the window open as the noise from the small river (havingsmall water flow) and some machines working 24h/day in the factory.Was looking to change the room to the other side ,with the balconies,but the hotel was fully booked so has sleepless nights...The hotelamenities are connected to the water park so you need to pay 10 eurentrance fees.This was not so clear when booking.

Review 102：Spa area is divided from the hotel and it has 4 stars, I would say 3, everybody from around hotel can enter (when they pay some small fee which is not the problem by itself, but with the full capacity in the hotel, it's not the place for enjoy and rest) so pool is overcrowded, saunas also, just not 5 stars spa service and facilities. We booked 3 nights and left after 1.

The water park was a welcome activity and we enjoyed it for several hours with our kids. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Very modern locker facilities with wristband locking mechanism. I enjoyed the conservation efforts of the hotel.

Review 118：We travel a lot, but we never experienced that you are limited to enter the sauna only once a day. That doesn't make sense. I'm sure it wasn't the case the last time we were here. This might be the reason we won't come back again. I would love to know why is it limited like that. Also for the 5 star hotel free wifi is mandatory, instead of asking additional 5€ per day.

Review 120：This ECO probably means - we save on everything :) The rooms were cold, the heating is off when you are not in the room and when you get back in the room you enter in a freezer. Personal is polite but not flexible enough to solve customer problems or complains. You have to carry your luggage. Food choice for HB was a little bit poorer compared to other better Slovenian hotels (4star).
