Review 1：Hotel is geared for large bus tours. No cosy feeling or information for individual travellers. Breakfast canteen style.

Review 53：The Hotel is a little out of the centre but once you get the hang of the walk into Lamego it's really easy. A taxi is about 5 euros but perhaps unnecessary. One quibble: some of the gym machines in the health centre have had it but the indoor pool though small is perfectly fine.

Review 54：This is a quite brilliant Hotel. It's extremely well run, the staff are universally polite and charming, the Hotel is well looked after and the room we had was comfortable, restful and luxurious with a great view over the surrounding countryside. The outdoor pool is really great - a good size and well kept - and the gardens simply but nicely planted. Although it's in the Lamego suburbs, it's ingeniously surrounded by walls and gardens so you feel away from the town a little. The restaurant has excellent food and it's not stupidly expensive.

Review 55：The air condition did not work the breakfast was okay but not great the food at the pool bar was slow and not good for the money it was far away from the inner city the street which is shown on booking.com leads you to a very far away remote place...this was extremely annoying!

Review 57：Although I had booked a room with a view, it was the only hotel on our trip that did not comply with my request. It was not fully booked telling from the garage and the breakfast room which both were empty. Half of the rooms looks towards a valley/mountains, the others towards other buildings. The breakfast was poor (also the worst on our trip), the coffee undrinkable but the staff was nice.

Review 62：Beautiful location in the Duoro. Comfortable well-appointed hotel on a hill overlooking the hills and vineyards of the Duoro. Dinner in the restaurant was very good with an extensive selection of wines. The view from the dining room and some guest rooms is very special.
