Review 1：Very old fashioned rooms - used /scratched furniture, carpet and curtains are bad. Room is too cold. For price it is ok

Review 3：The staff was calm, reassuring and just wonderful. We were late and tired with an early flight. She set up a wake-up call, ordered a cab and had a packed meal for us.
Review 4：Fantastic location - we were catching an early bus on our last morning, and the bus stop and station was literally just across the road, or through the underpass, at the back of the hotel... 5 minutes. We had taken a room on the top floor (6th) with a balcony - great to be able to sit and watch the comings and goings in the harbour.
Review 5：LOCATION: Center! Walking distance to restaurants and sightseeing places. ACCESS: By car. Use the parking garage Kremmergaarden 15 kr/hour, 150 kr/day), 110 meter walk from the hotel (hotel does not provide parking for guest). If you are lucky, parking at the very limited number of metered spaces next to the hotel for free from 16:00 Saturday – 8:00 Monday (info: early September 2015). No direct train access (closes train station is about 100 kms away). RECEPTION: The staff was friendly. ROOM (618), duluxe double room. On the top floor with a balcony, with a great view of the Brosundet canal, the reflection of the buildings across the river (and on the hills) and the church, the bridge, and the little plaza. A modern contemporary deco with a black and white theme (black drapes, and espresso color furniture), a b/w photo of the fjord on the wall. Simple, elegant and beautiful. It has a 2 espresso color leather chairs, a coffee table, a desk, and a safe. The bed is large and comfortable. Non-smoking property. BATHROOM: Fairly good size, with a shower unit with folding doors (well sealed when closed, water well drained, no leaking outside of the doors). Good towels. Heated floor. BREAKFAST/Buffet (included in the room rate): Excellent choices. Dining area has a street view. INTERNET: Reasonable speed. OTHER: We really like this hotel, modern and good location. Best among all six during the trip.
Review 6：Rooms were quite small, although nice - Shower glass door let lot of water and splashes all over the bathroom - Traffic noise can bother light sleepers - VERY limited parking space around the hotel.

So, do what you normally do when you park in any city anywhere in the world, just don's ask the receptionists if you still choose this hotel.

Review 16：We had a superior room with balcony facing the harbour. The view was fantastic. The staff was very nice. The location is very close to the airport bus stop and Hurtigruten terminal. The dark curtains helped a comfortable sleep during day light in the nights.

We claimed and after a while they found the room for us (first they said there was no other room left). Take earplugs, the hotel is located on a busy junction with noisy traffic during the night/morning.

No privacy. There is a public balcony right outside your big window. Overall, the quality of the room left me feeling cheated.
