Enjoying a peaceful location in a picturesque small village of Ravne v Bohinju, in the middle of Bohinj Valley, Apartments Tubej is set near the forest and pastures. Each room features handmade Alpine furniture, a fireplace, plasma TV and a steam sauna.
Located in the centre of Bohinj Valley on the outskirts of Triglav National Park, Apartments Tubej is 15 minutes from Lake Bled and 7 minutes from Lake Bohinj. You can enjoy views towards the Triglav and the Bohinj valleys from Ravne, which is 2,350 feet above sea level.
Free covered parking and free WiFi are available. The Tubej provides a sun terrace with deck chairs and a hot tub that is available at a surcharge. Massage treatments can also be arranged. A log cabin for picnics and barbecues is also available. Guests can return to the house on their skis and sledding trails pass by the house.
Bike, ski equipment and 3D archery equipment rental can be organised on site. A biking track that goes all the way to the Bohinj Lake passes the house. It is also a perfect starting point for excursions to the mountains.
There is a nature park with various animals located next to the property. There are various indoor and outdoor swimming pools and a modern spa centre available in Bohinj, which is approximately 0.6 miles away. The Vogel ski area can be reached within a 10-minute drive.
Within a radius between 350 feet and 3.1 miles you can find various restaurants offering traditional Slovenian and international cuisine. Breakfast can be served upon request.

Review 1：The apartment was dark, every room lit by a single bulb only.In thekitchen: dirty dishes, no salt, the refrigerator was switched on only onour arrival and did not cool. In the bathroom: miserable towels, nosoap, weak water flow, even the hand soap was diluted. In the bedroomthere was a hole in the wall.The place was supposed to include a sauna,of which there was no sign. We were requested to leave our shoes at thebottom of the stairs and were offered old and dirty slippers to use.Outside, the place to sit was among the washing put out to dry. Webooked two nights and the owner asked for payment in advance!The place was so depressing that we left after one night, although we paid for two. On top of everything, the apartment which boasts 4 stars(??), was highly overpriced. ראו הוזהרתם! מקום דוחה ברמות.

Review 3：The place is over-rated. It's far too expensive for the little it gives. It's far away from anything, there was little equipment available, the coffee machine was broken, so was the fridge. The sauna facility they advertise is a glorified shower cabin with sauna options. (I believe it's called false advertising)

Review 4：The place is in a serene little village uphill, with great views, away from the world. They have sheep in the yard, our kids could feed them grass. And they made us laugh with the possibility of having sex on a haystack for 12 euros (it's on the list of additional services, no kidding - see pic).

Review 5：The outside of the property is nothing like what is shown in the pictures. I'm not sure how this can be rated four stars. The pictures must have been taken many years ago because the trampoline is missing the protective net, the swing set was in bad shape, and there was no teepee or archery setup. I let my kids pick where we stayed this time, so you can imagine our disappointment. The hot tub was filled with mosquito larvae and nowhere ready to be used if requested. Beware also that you will hear every sound in the apartment from your neighbors. I would recommend finding something in town or at another location.

Review 6：The apartment was clean and comfortable. The kids enjoyed petting the sheep everyday and visiting the cows and horses up the hill.

Review 7：Although the building was beautifully restored, the finishing touches were a bit lacking. For example, the towels were small, well used and mismatched, the space in our apartment was a bit cramped for a family of five. Anything longer than the 3 nights would not have been feasible.

Review 8：The view and the opportunity to explore Lake Bohinj, which we may not have done otherwise.

Review 9：All other reviews are absolutely true... we thought people are exaggerating but it's the truth... water flow very very weak. there is not really air conditioner there... the owner told us that no need for air condition... lol... one night we didnt had hot water(!!!) and the owner blame us for using too much water... The rooms are not so clean and on top of all, one should consider the location... its not an easy way to drive ...

Review 11：Location is too far from everything! You have to drive ten mins up a hill to get to it -this is ok if you want peace and quiet! An possible better for skiing! There was no kettle, so had to boil water in a coffee maker lol, doable but long winded- and no toaster so had to make toast in a breviel maker lol! Hot tub, not jacuzi -we paid €10 each to sit in for 30 seconds as there was a thunderstorm instantly after we paid! So we went inside! And didnt get our money back lol

Review 12：Very clean, wifi was good and was nice and peaceful,and nice steamroom shower! Althought i have made quite a few negative comments, our stay was lovely! And if you can deal with the minor things i have mentioned then you will love it! Its very cosy and we wer on the top floor,lovely apartments just feel a bit out of the way!

Review 23：The mattress was not comfortable enough. another importent thing: We did not know that the proprietor wants the full amount and a sum of money in case of damage at check in. He claimed that he asked "Booking" to write these Terms on their website but they did not agree. Necessary to regulate this matter to avoid any unpleasant surprises on holiday which supposed to be fun and relaxing.

Review 24：A quiet place very close to beautiful Bohinj lake. well equipped rooms and kitchenette. The highlight is the shower with sauna. The owner is freindly and honest.

Review 25：Wish we would have known to bring drinking water since the water was non-potable. The first night we arrived later than planned due to traffic and found our room had been double booked, so we had to be taken to another lodging at midnight 20 minutes away to stay for the night - away from the friends we were meeting at Apartment Tubej. When I had e-mailed the previous day to confirm the room and our arrival time, I had no response from the owner and no indication there was a problem with the rooms/booking, despite later acknowledgement it was received. Very frustrating, especially with 3 tired kids in the car.

Review 26：Beautiful apartment and friendly host. Nice outdoor tables for BBQ and available trampoline and kids' activities.

Review 27：The services were far from being as described. Much facilities were not present or broken. The room was not clean and the owner very unfriendly. When we wanted to pay by credit card - as indicated as possibility when the booking was made - the owner did not accept this and forced us in a very agressive way to pay in cash. In sum, the offer is very poor, taking the price of the apartment into account.

Review 29：Staff was impolite, and very hairsplitting. (Counted cutlery one by one at checkout.) Baby cot was extra money. Though advertised as 2 bedroom apartment, it was only 1 bedroom + small living room - was very small and uncomfortable for 4 adults and babies. Pictures on booking.com are misleading - they are about other apartments. Bedroom very dark and absolutely no view (could see only bottom of shader). Double bed and sofa (to be opened as 2nd bed) was both uncomfortable. Furniture unfinished at some places. It was a complete disappointment, doesn't worth the money at all.

Review 33：We stayed in June when there was a great discount on the apartment.Check the 'important information' section as short stays are subject toan extra cleaning fee!The place is clean and very high-spec with a crazy shower/sauna in the bathroom. The views are stunning and it makes a great base for walking, skiing etc. we had a car (useful as it is 1km up a steep hill from the town). There is outside seating to watch the sunset and the ski tow is only a short walk away if you go during the winter season. The whole area is stunning and this place made a great base to see it from. The owner was also good at recommending activities and places to eat.

Review 36：Apartments Tubej is located in Rovec a rustic settlement about 2 kmdistant (200 metres elev.) above the town of Bohinj Bistrica. Theapartments are located in a restored 3 storey building featuring modernwood burning stove heating with steam showers installed in the bathroom.A nearby building supplies electricity via solar panels.The building isstill very much a work-in-progress with work ongoing to add a centralgames / facilities room in the historic basement and a Californian stylehot-tub at the rear of the building. In winter, the apartment offersdirect access to the Kobla ski runs, although snow chains would likeablebe advisable for access after heavy snowfalls.
