Reviews for Loumaile Lodge

Review 1：I have travelled to over 50 countries. This can easily be the worst hotel I have come across. The entrance is dark and dicey. The staff don't want to know you. The "bellboy" is about 70 years old and dressed in a watchman's uniform. He had trouble in carrying my 10kg trolley bag to my room. HE SAT ON MY BED TO CATCH HIS BREATH! The aircon never worked. There is no mini fridge and no courtesy of bottled water. The furnishings are mouldy and smelly. The carpet is absolutely filthy. I later learnt that even the local people avoid this "hotel" like the plague.

Review 2：No elevator but security helped with luggage Hotel restaurant, whilst theoretically open was never seen serving any food On first day one of the two rooms had a bed that was like sleeping on boards, on our return stay both rooms were fine Minor thing - the shower cubicle needs a descale and tidy up but it all worked fine

Review 4：The room wasn't properly cleaned, there were some cobwebs and the shower had soap scum on the glass. The carpet could use proper cleaning and new bed linen would be a plus. A number of the power points in the room were also coming out of the walls. The internet allowance was also very small. 100 mb for several days stay wasn't enough to check emails for the time I was there, I had to go to an internet cafe. Considering this room was more expensive than the Little Italy which I had previously stayed at this last factor was quite disappointing.

Review 5：The location of the hotel is good in the center of town which makes it easy to get around to meetings. The room had air conditioning which was also nice. The shower had good pressure and hot water. The hotels driver was very friendly and good to talk to on the trip back to the airport.

Review 10：Despite full payment on booking we were charged again on leaving and are having great difficulty retrieving extra payment and costs. Airport transfers were expensive.
