Review 1：Breakfast on the first day was very poor, no staff in Breakfast room, then come up on a tray, was not at all happy.

Its in low season, so we got good price. This is much better than 3 stars hotel standard , also better than i expected.

Review 7：The communal areas seem to have been updated recently as the restaurant and snack bar look very modern, but the rooms could definitely do with with some TLC. But as they were clean and comfortable I can forgive! The restaurant was a bit expensive so we didn't eat there but did have coffee etc in the snack bar. The only downside to the location is that you are really limited to where you can eat if you choose to eat outside the hotel, if you don't want to drive! The pool was closed as it was October but it had gone black and looked really filthy!

Review 8：The location. Difficult to beat such an amazing location especially as my husband is a surfer and I thought it would be cool to sit outside and watch him in the waves! The rooms were big with all rooms overlooking the sea from their own balconies. The rooms were divided into two separate areas with the bathroom in between so the kids could sleep in their own beds in another room. Good size bathroom, and lots of clean towels. The beds were comfortable. Nice breakfast, a reasonable selection of cold foods. Generally I really liked this hotel and the staff were all really friendly and chatty. Wi fi worked in my room but was advertised as public spaces only so that was a bonus. Free parking.

Review 10：Excellent location, overlooks attractive beach and you can easy reach from here to Sintra's points of interests and Cabo de Roca and .... Great pool really great (the biggest that I saw in hotels). Clean, good breakfast with ocean view. Actually all rooms have large balconies and ocean view. Very nice beach and you can walk to the far end of beach(south end) and reach to very attractive, hidden area of the beach.

Review 11：We don't like to complain, but on checkout mentioned that our room was stuffy and the air conditioning was not working well. The staff admitted there were problems with the a/c . Why didn't they just tell us that before we unpacked ?

Though the lobby and restaurant give you the impression new and modern interior, the same can't be said of the rooms. The air conditioning wasn't working and the cupboard had no shelves. Review 25：We had some broken furniture in our room, and it felt like everything needs to be refreshed. Matrass is weird and every day we woke up with pain in the back. The safe is locked with the key, not the code. Breakfast has only cold food (and toasts), if you want an omelet or scrambled eggs - you can order them for an extra price. The cleaning was not very thorough.

Review 26：This hotel has an absolutely amazing view of the ocean! To look at the sunset sitting on your balcony - priceless. All the rooms have an ocean view, but the higher your floor is - the better. The location is good only if you have a car - it's close to all the Sintra palaces and museums. The hotel has it's own free parking. The pool is good! The hotel restaurant is good but pricy. They gave a couple of colouring books with pencil sets for our baby, that was a very pleasant surprise. The overall experience was actually good!

Experienced this problem in Egypt a few years ago and my wife got an infection. Staff were not that helpful and hotel refused to accommodate a refund or discount. The pool was huge and the waves crashing over the wall from the sea was fabulous. we ate in the restaurant which also has the same view and the cafeteria so fantastic all round! We both had a Reflexology session which was excellent and not expensive. Oh and one of the best showers weve ever had in any hotel we have stayed in.

Review 59：I am disappointed by the way my complaint is being handled by Arribas. It was not a big complaint, just lack of agreed service on day of departure. The hotel does not seem to be willing to resolve it to my satisfaction (refund of the money paid for service not delivered) although it has been nearly a month from my request. So if you have no problem during your stay it is a lovely place, but if something is not to your satisfaction, the hotel is not forthcoming. To be fair, this is the first time ever I had to complain to the hotel so it may be a common practice, however it is very disappointing.

Review 60：Our experience of this hotel is mixed. During our stay we enjoyed hotel's hospitality and the location. The rooms are nice and the sea view is breathtaking. A lot of activities to be had near by e.g. surfing. Also the swimming pool is awesome (100 meters I think). The food was delicious and the staff very friendly.

As the rooms all overlook the massive (public) pool I can imagine that would be quite loud in the main season. The breakfast was a good value for the price - all except the coffee. Review 130：Either we were unlucky or the restaurant left a lot to be desired. Badly organised with waiters rushing about empty-handed and food sitting on the pass going cold. Suspect also using cheap ingredients and not cooking them well. We gave up and went to a local restaurant instead.

Review 131：Excellent room on end of top floor, nice quiet public spaces, nice terrace to sit with a sundowner, fantastic swimming pool with excellent attendant who always seemed to be able to produce another couple of loungers even on a very busy weekend. Good place to base yourself for Sintra, Mafra and other attractions - the Tram when running is a great way to get to Sintra.

Review 132：The location of the hotel and the awesome view over the ocean. Fantastic swimming pool with salted water. The neighborhood full of restaurants in Praia das Maças where we ate delicious fresh fish.
