Opened in August 2013, Hotel Stefani is a 5-minute drive from Sibiu International Airport and 20 minutes walk from the Large Square and the Brukenthal Museum. It offers free WiFi in all areas, rooms with cable TV, and à la carte restaurant with traditional Romanian cuisine.

Review 1：The telephones were not functioning for incoming calls. The staff said they would address the issue but I do not know if they ever did because I found an alternative way of speaking to my family in the states.

Review 2：The feeling of safeness, the cleanliness of the room, the complete friendliness and support of the staff.

Review 3：Unfriendly and disinteressed staff. Bad location in an industrial location, Train Lines on ohne side, trucks on heavily travelled other side. Poor breakfast.

Review 5：The only con is: there is no elevator and I just had a recent injury on my leg and was hard to climb the stairs.

Review 6：Before we got to the hotel, the staff sent us an e-mail to let us know they will accommodate our requests(in our case: make sure the beds are matrimonial and not single beds and that the rooms are non smoking) and called us to makes sure we are on our way so they do not give away our rooms(forgot to call them and let them know we will be there later than the time we specified).

Review 13：At the front desk, while waiting to check in, we were having a laugh with our friends when all of a sudden the receptionist interrupted us in a rude way asking us twice: "is there something to laugh about?". Very awkward and totally unprofessional. Sorry for having a good time and feeling relaxed in our short stay, Hotel Stefani! Will certainly not book here a room anytime soon.

Review 16：The apartment we rented was spacious, clean, and very nicely furnished. We enjoyed the big living room and the privacy in the individual bedrooms.

Review 17：We didn't had air conditioning in our room, no big towels for shower in first night (only small), no slippers, shower a little bit small. We left message to clean our room but didn't do it. We had to discuss at reception about this. Next day was fix it.

Review 19：The only thing which might disturb a light sleeper is the proximity to the railway - however there were only a couple of trains during the night.

Review 20：Very convenient for Sibiu airport - just 5 minutes drive. Friendly and accommodating staff. Spacious, clean and comfortable room. This was my third time to stay here, and has become my number 1 choice when I have to bring people to the airport.

Review 21：The water in the bathroom had no pressure, but managed to serve the purpose. It took me time to find one outlet behind the desk for charging my batteries. It was funny in this so well looking room...

Review 22：New well built with high standard in mind. I liked to park my bike behind the fence. It is small yard that has place for few cars, but there is allays place for a bike. The main attractions are at 3 min drive.

Review 23：In the room (suite) we stayed the wireless signal was very poor and most of the time didnt worked out at all. Location of the hotel is not exactly ideal when you visit the city but it works just fine if you are by car.

Review 27：Huge, clean & comfortable apartmen. The staff help to change our rooms as we make some mistake in booking arrangement and very helpful. Private secured free parking is also a bonus.

Review 28：We had a bit of a problem climbing the stairs, as we were checked at the 2nd floor and our bags were heavy. They are located near the railroad so i'm guessing that for the guests in that part of the hotel the noise is a little bit of a problem. Where we stayed it was ok. It was a bit far from the place we worked, but it is not very far from the center of the city. A cab drive will take about 8 RON (2 Euros) from the Hotel to the City Center.

Review 29：Stayed here during a business trip to Sibiu. We were very well treated. The reception and restaurant staff was very helpful and nice. The rooms are big and clean, although the whole time we stayed there we never saw the cleaning lady come and make our bed or something like that. Perhaps they don't clean the room for a 2 night stay. The wi-fi works very well in the room and has a great signal. We didn't take the breakfast option and as far as I saw the prices in the a la carte menu were reasonable enough for us to eat it without prior reservation. So, overall the Hotel was nice and we would check here again if it were to pass through Sibiu.

Review 41：WE stayed here because I had an early departure from Sibiu airport. It is only five minutes drive away. The rooms are large, with bright, comfortable, modern furnishings. Receptionist friendly and helpful. We arrived early on Sunday evening when a baptism party was just beginning, so the receptionist placed us in a room on the other side of the hotel from the party, so we would not be so disturbed by the noise.

Review 45：I was surprised by this hotel because it is rated as a three star hotel. The room (202) was more than I have expected: very clean, very big, comfortable bed and a big bathroom. I was lucky though to get it as a last minute deal on booking.com and payed half the walk in price for a double room (202 is actually a triple room).

Review 46：The noise from the restaurant is way too loud if there is a party downstairs. The vibrations go through all the building. I highly recommend ear plugs. If you have them, your sleep would be perfect. I also, didn't like the fact that you have to exit the building to access some of the apartments in the upper floors. During summer I think this would be great, but during winter time...not so much. Maybe if they closed the terrace... Poor breakfast, one type of bread (not fresh), joint long table, no intimacy while having your meal. The noise from the TV did not go very well to the ambiental music (Christmas carols) in the restaurant.

Review 47：Great space. We booked a suite with 2 bedrooms. Each with their own TV, closet, desk etc The rooms are very clean, plenty of towels. Own closed parking.

Review 52：advertised close to Sibiu station. This is misleading as it is Sibiu Turnisor station not the main station (4km away). There was a convenient train from Sibiu to Turnisor at 1940 in the evening and returning at 0700, but there are not many trains. Otherwise you need a taxi

Review 55：The hotel is pretty far away but you can get to the nearest bus station in 15 min by foot. This was not a big deal anyway, it's very easy to get there. Their wi-fi stopped working a few times but it was only temporary. ;)

Review 56：The two-bedroom suite was big enough for four people. Clean, pleasant, comfy rooms & very nice staff. Also, the price was fine for what we got. It was better than I expected, I totally recommend it.

Review 63：- The absence of a window net. It would have been nice(r) to get to sleep with fresh air from outside instead of machine-provided one or none of the above. - Half of the breakfast. I understand that, even lower positioned, "Fares" can provide some decent, healthy teas - even with one bag per cup -, but "Fanta"!? Come on, guys! I've seen better in much worse hotels. The yoghurts were also horrible. Zuzu is, by far, not the best - cheap - option available in all/fruit varieties. Try to improve a bit the wursts, too. - The male part of the restaurant personnel. Either he had a bad day from early morning or (I am more convinced) he was simply bored beyond limits/could not care less. Consider also we were just a few in the breakfast area of the restaurant. - The limited number of "quality" TV channels actually available (= not counting the blatantly useless ones). - The shower-head (three modes, all weird) and the actual water pressure in the shower. - The lack of slippers (I personally don't care that much about the robe). It's a rather minor item that can surely add some value to the - existing - good quality services. Fixing/alleviating/mitigating these minuses (and maybe a couple more) would easily place this nice hotel within the "3+ high-quality" ranks.

Review 64：- All the reception desk personnel. Smiling, friendly, witty. Corina, Sonia (the very nice professor-improbable replacement), and... please, forgive me for having forgotten the name of the lady on duty upon my noon departure (yeah, my booking.com perks). The only caveat - at least one of them had no idea about the buses one could get from near the hotel to reach city center or buses in general. And at least one of them had no idea I actually had an AC machine in my room, therefore I would need a remote control as well. Yet they were lovely. Course, not the buses and/or the machines, I mean. - The female part of the restaurant personnel. Smiling, witty, prompt. Welcoming = not caring I entered the hotel through the restaurant (my first time there, so understandable). - One third of half of the breakfast. Decent (= should have been some more options) eggs, ham, cheese, butter, tomatoes, coffee (not great though). The semi-surprising meatloaf was quite good, but not exactly to my taste (I do not fancy garlic in this kind of products). Others may justly appreciate it. - The room (well sized for a single), almost in its entirety - bed(room), bathroom, related accessories/items alike (with one or two exceptions, mentioned within the minuses column) - and the quality of sleep that I got... Nice, functional sink and sink area. Practical, tightly closing shower cabin. Decent to pretty good quality toiletries. Lots of - very clean - towels. Great mattress (the harder kind, the one I like) and pillows. Fully functional, quite powerful AC device. - The overall cleanliness and pleasant smell on the hallways. - The parking lot.

Review 66：Hotel Stefania is a new hotel. Roomas are very clean. The bed seemd soft at the begining but finally it was perfect. Bathroom was very clean. They had room for family with 4 beds.

It's around 30minutes by foot from the city center (we needed to move around fast anddidn't want to lose time so we took a taxi for 7-10ron trip thattakes 5-10 minutes) and the fact that it's close to some traintracks. However, I can't say this was an issue as during the nightthere are few trains.
