Location suited us: pleasant 10 minute walk through trees to the beach for super morning coffee at 2 Passos, then long walks along almost deserted beach and back for fantastic lunch at the same 2 Passos restaurant.

Review 16：Beds very firm. The "double bed" was two singles pushed together...this is not a double! Avoid the bottom floor with the "land view" as will have a dark gloomy balcony on carpark level.Kitchen is dated.

Review 18：You need a car to get to the closest supermarket or a taxi for 13 Euros. It would be good if the hotel had a shop. The wifi is only free for the first 500MB per adult. After this usage, you have to pay 10 Euros per day which seems pretty high. On our booking it said that wifi was free. The children's menu only starts at 7.30pm in the restaurant which is too late for young children. It would be great if a couple of options for children could be included on the bar snacks menu.

Review 19：The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean and our apartment was very comfortable. The swimming pools are fab and our young boys had great fun in the children's pool. The spa is lovely and we enjoyed a relaxing massage in the tent outside by the pool. The walk down to the beach is very scenic through the pine trees.

Review 20：The beds are awful. Incredibly hard! They also put a plastic matress protector underneath the sheet which makes sleeping noisy and sweaty. The aircon is also rubbish!

Review 35：Amazing hotel, amazing staff, they are very polite. Very clean hotel. They deserve to have a 5 star instead of only 4. This is an apartment hotel, includes a big bedroom, i big living room, kitchen, and toilette.The swimming pool is big enough for my daily gym train. Has also other small pool for the kids. The food in restaurant are very delicious. Try every dish and you'll love it. I don't have any favorite dish to write here because everything is delicious. The hotel is 3 min from walk to the beach and Golf camp only 15min. There is a place to walk to have and amazing view of the beauty of the nature (check my pics). I love it top take my family to this hotel and if I decide to go to Faro I will definitely book again. The best thing is to rent a car then you can go out and enjoy local areas such as Shopping, Zoo Marine and many other beautiful places.

Review 50：Beds were too hard for me. Hotel could do with a little grocery shop in order to buy provisions for apartment. We did not hire a car so found ourselves a little stuck. We did adapt but it is nice to be able to buy what you wish. Luckily a lovely couple we met from Manchester gave us a lift to supermarket so we could buy provisions at a fair price. Hotel could do with providing washing up liquid in kitchen or at least letting you purchase it from them. Several supermarkets in area were closed for refurbishment.

Review 51：Hotel was spotless, apartments were very spacious. Really nice veranda with lovely views. Plenty of sunbeds around pool. Staff were very helpful and extremely polite. Breakfast was very good value for money. Also bar has a happy hour from 5-6pm which was good value for money. Beautiful beach a short walk down dirt track beside hotel.

Also the room safe needs a separate lock from reception - and the room has no kettle/coffee maker.

Review 87：Flies & mozzies - tho everywhere impacted last week Oct, not Formosa Park issue only. In Oct not really an option to walk to alternative night time dining options car or taxi necessity.

Review 100：Great hotel for the price. Rooms were very large. It was spotless and the staff great. It is quite remote, so you either need a car or get taxis everywhere which are very expensive. Very relaxing stay and would go back.

Review 101：Distance from the hotel to the beach is quite long and through a very dusty and steep trail. Although there is a free shuttle bus every 1/2 hour from the hotel to the beach, it's small and it doesn't operate between 12-15 or after 18:30. The hotel restaurant is expensive and it doesn't have many options and there are no other restaurants in a walking distance (you need to take the car if you want to buy anything)

Review 112：This 4* apart-hotel is just beautiful and thoroughly deserves its 4 stars. The gardens are delightfully pretty and the pool exceptionally clean. All the staff were extremely polite and courteous, as well as friendly throughout our stay. If they could help, they did. And nothing was too much trouble for them. Unfortunately the sofa bed in our room was broken, but this was dealt with very quickly & efficiently - with a camp bed being brought in. The food was delicious and the breakfast choice extensive.
