Review 5：Can't blame the hotel, the city is horrible, stayed one night for a transit before catching a train next day to Brasov. One of the most depressing days in my life. And probably one of the ugliest cities in Romania.

Review 8：The rooms aren't isolated and it's very loud. Plus the smoking rooms are distributed as being non smoking rooms. The pillowcases were dirty as well.

Review 10：I asked for a quiet room, but we received one at the street side, which is a very busy main street. There was no locker. When I asked for this, they said that only at rooms with a double bed they had lockers. The biggest issue was that the jacuzzi was under construction and was closed and also the sauna and swimming pool were closed. This was not put on the website and since I chose this hotel for the spa, and I also paid for this, I talked about this to the lady. She was very understanding but did not give a solution. After a while she came up with a discount, but in my eyes it was just a small discount so I suggested her another discount. She should talk with her boss and let me know in the morning. In the morning there was another person, but he knew from this and told me I got the price I asked for, so that was nice from them. The breakfast was nice, but they already made sandwiches, I expected to reveive some bread, some meat and some cheese, but they made it for us, that was a little weird, but the taste was very good.

Review 14：I found the hotel a little run-down. Chipped furniture in the room, chipped tiles are not acceptablefor the standing this hotel pretends to. There is the sign for a Chinese restaurant which in fact is closed. I hope it is only a temporary situation and the hotel will re-acquire its past quality.

Review 15：The hotel is in a large renovated 19th century building and the owners deserve to be commended for this choice. it is in the city center, close to everything. I came here four years ago and the quality of services made me come again.

Review 16：Nice hotel, quiet, perfect location. We had to check out at 5 in the morning. The personnel was so kind to make us a breakfast to go. This was a very pleasant surprise.

Review 17：The regular rooms indicate a whirlpool, this is not true! The suites are large, but almost empty. Carpet is worn. Certainly not worth the 4th star.

Review 62：The weirdest thing in this hotel is internet. They need to fix it somehow, because this is not normal when you have to connect Wifi router by yourself in the room with all the wires. Stayed here twice and both times it happened.

Review 63：They make perfect Benedict Eggs for breakfast! I would come back just to eat them again! Everything else was also great! Nice staff, great location, comfortable parking and big spacious room. They also have a nice swimming pool.

Review 64：Having stayed here in 2007 I wanted to see if the high standards remained. I was satisfied although time had changed a bit the conditions, especially in the bathroom. The room was big, clean, mattress very comfortable. Staff very welcoming and helpful.

Review 65：-Although advertised, there is no fitness facility and the pool is verysmall ; but the worst thing about it is that it is dirty- very small parking lot - the wi fi did not work on my computer. I had to use the wi fi from Plaza Hotel across the street (yes, it worked) - quite poor breakfast

Review 67：We stayed in suite 101 and woke up at 1am with loud techno music from club downstairs right underneath the room that lasted until 3:30am! We did not sleep and had to get up at 5:00am to catch our flight. Reception knew of this as we booked a taxi in advance and still booked us into that room, knowing that this was a problem. Hotel should not use that room at the weekends and music was very loud! No reception cover at night (big problem if there is an emergency! You can't reach them! Poor Health & Safety Compliance). Unsupervised (another poor Health & Safety Compliance) screaming children played in swimming pool (open to non-guests) for hours so could not use it!

Review 69：Once 'The Royal Hotel' it is a pity that it has been stripped out and given an uncompromisingly modern interior with no indication of its history - not even photographs. We only took one meal (breakfast) which was disappointing for a hotel of that standard (not a patch on that of the B&B in which we had stayed previously). We weren't tempted to eat there again. Overall good value for money if you are in search of somewhere to sleep in the heart of Targu Mures; there are plenty of places to eat close by.

Review 84：Room air conditioning was ineffective. Shower head could not be adjusted for height. Entrance to hotel was confusing - there are two near identical entrances on either side of an internal access road. I chose the wrong one and found myself in the bar area with two heavy suitcases. The location was central but there was a lot of noise outside in the early hours (Saturday night), despite that I asked for a quiet room.
