Review 1：Mosquitos in the room - we got covered in bites for our last night! No air con, in case you are wondering. There is a fan. Gorgeous hotel, but didn't like El Jadida.

Review 3：We had a very comfortable and enjoyable 2 nights in the Capitainerie, in a wonderfully romantic room on the top floor, with view over the fort walls to the sea. All the positive accolades posted by previous reviewers are no exaggeration, and the photos are true to form. The staff are very helpful and courteous, breakfasts are delicious and the whole ambiance is one of unpretentious style.

Review 4：Sound carries very easily and we could here absolutely everything - like someone setting down a fork in the dining room. It was really weird, but we were so comfortable in every other way that it didn't really matter.

Review 5：Every detail of this hotel was carefully designed: the decor was a beautiful sort of decadent minimalism with peaceful rooms, a lovely restaurant and an incredible wood massage room at the top of the building. The staff was lovely and the who experience was like a warm hug on an otherwise cold New Years day.

A gem nestled in a well preserved ancient citymixing influences of Arab, Portuguese and Jewish cultures. If youwant the romantic feel of Bogart's Casablanca, I suggest to drivean hour away from the hustle of the metropolis and stay atL'Iglesia instead.

Review 11：We stayed in the church part of the hotel. It was absolutely gorgeous and with great attention paid to design details. They had a cocktail hour at 7 pm which was a nice opportunity to find out who else was staying at the hotel!

Review 17：There are 2 buildings of the hotel. We went to the church to check in but no one was there. We stood around several minutes before one of the guests said we had to go down the street to the other building to check in. A post stating this would be helpful. Even though the hotel is immaculate and a very nice experience the price is a bit steep at $240. We live in Morocco and have been to many riads/hotels and this was more expensive than almost all of them. We normally see prices of $125-150/nt. But in El Jadida there is not much selection for lodging as it is not a big tourist city

Review 18：They did a fantastic job of remodeling an old church. It is really beautiful. They did a nice job of mixing old with new. Our room was the suite and it was roomy, comfortable, with a great bathroom with shower and clawfoot tub. The location is easy to get to at the end of the medina street with parking at site. Dinner at the restaurant was fantastic. Continental bkfst on the terrace was very good as well. The staff were very professional.
