Review 1：-Noise level was high due to the building being mostly concrete and open

Review 2：-Location was perfect for the Bio Bay tour we took at night -Plenty of restaurant options just down the road -Easy access to a beautiful beach -Open air lobby/bar area

Review 3：We came to El Blok to spend our honeymoon. And it was a big mistake, guys! It is not a 5 * hotel at all. The style of the hotel is minimal in everything. In your room you won't find such unnecessary things like wardrobe, phone, Tv. So all the clothes were left in a luggage. And to tell administration that there is a hole in the ceiling we had to go downstairs. They changed our room to another without a hole and gave us a bottle of wine ( for apology and honeymoon together). We ask for adaptor- they didn't have it, said they would find, but again seemed they had forgotten. There is no beach where you can swim near hotel (port for small boats). First day on breakfast we had: fruits, cold omelette, coffee, granola with yogurt, bread, jam, butter, cheese Philadelphia, 2 types of juices. On the second day we had all the same without yogurt (manager said they had just forgotten to make it). On third day again without yogurt (manager said they left it outside and it was spoiled). I don't eat eggs, so had just coffee and fruits. The last day we asked a girl on the reception to call a taxi for 10 A.M. (Ferry was at 11 A.M.). So when we were checking out, taxi driver came, said hello to us, we said to wait a while. Then when we were going downstairs with our luggage, we found out that the taxi driver left. Returned to the girl on the reception, she said:"Another taxi will come in 5-10 minutes". We asked why she let him go and she answered:"It wasn't my duty to call a taxi". And she was shouting on me. So this lady doesn't know was hotel service is. Taxi came in 20 minutes and with good luck we were on time on ferry. The advantage of the hotel is really good chef of the restaurant, that is open for a dinner (not included). By the way the island is beautiful and there is a lot of to do on it, recommended to visit, but please choose another hotel or guest house to spend your holiday!

Review 4：Bad General staff assistance. Rude and not helpful, especially morning staff people who tried to rip us off on car rentals on the island !!!!!!!!! Very bad!!!!!! One exception as we were pleasantly assisted by one Jamaican girl during the afternoon staff routine. Breakfast was dull and exactly the same for 7 days- no options to chose from.

Review 5：Great location! Amazing rooftop for sunset views and lazy sunbathing at poolside! Good cocktails.

Review 6：No telephone in room nor wifi or cell phone reception. No front desk person at night -could be tragic combo in night emergency. No light over room desk. 2 person room but only one chair. Bathroom so cramped that virtually impossible for me (5'10"ft,170 lbs) to use toilet comfortably. Rooftop"pool" really a cold "hot tub" in size and shape….

Review 9：Awesome Architecture , Service cant get any better. Rooms are perfect and anyone saying that there is no place like home obviously hasn't stayed in this Hotel. Everything was so clean , that we though that is was brand new.Service after Checkout was even better, they let us use a full bathroom and shower by the awesome Ocean View Pool until we waited for the trip back to PR.

Review 10：I was there for a wedding and luckily I had the dress with me because the maid went into my luggage and mixed my dirty/wet clothes with the clean. Also, our last night our AC stopped working and had no one to go to until the next morning.

Review 18：Room needed a dresser/bureau for clothes. The noise from the Malecon over the weekend was very loud late into the night. WiFi coverage outside of the lobby was very poor.

Review 23：Great atmosphere, the cleanliness and the comforts of the room, great staff, Best bar in town with a great mixologist "Ommy", everything its almost new definitely I will recommend this hotel.

Review 24：Need to figure out how to minimize sound from lobby/bar area up into guest rooms- would not return if this wasn't fixed. On a less important note, little things like bartender as well as the manager engrossed on the bar computer instead of engaging bar patrons or at the very least cleaning dirty glasses next to me and wiping down the counter after the couple next to me left. Bartender made a great drink, not that friendly. Not lookig for a new friend, just saying...

Review 25：Spotlessly clean, for the most part very friendly staff, restaurant food is amazing and the waitress (just moved from big island I think in June was one of the best I have ever had) continental breakfast included in the rate was very good. Lots of thought put in to design of rooms- fabulous linens, mattresses and pillows.

Review 26：The hotel needs to focus on the details. Every morning, they seemed surprised that people actually showed up for breakfast. Sometimes, it wasn't completely served until 9:15 or 9:20. Seriously, how difficult is it to remember to put out napkins? Or a pitcher of water? Every day, you had to ask for something pretty basic. Numerous kinks to work out. Aesthetically, they don't get high marks for first impressions—the ground floor elevator area looks like it has been turned into a storage facility, and the panel on the side of the pool was just propped up the entire week I was there. The plants on the roof looked weedy, tattered and tired. Plus, there were no cartons water in the rooms all week, and hot water seemed to be an issue with a number of guests. I could get hot water, but it often took 2-3 minutes for it to get warm enough.

Review 33：The place is understaffed. Check in time is 4, we got our room at 5:15 because housekeeping wasn't ready. No tea/coffee in the room. No phone to call front desk. No closet in the room, just a few hooks to hang clothes. The bathroom didn't even have hooks. Front desk is manned by a single person and we always had to wait a while to talk to them.

Review 35：The hotel is new so it's still working out some kinks. While we were there the wifi was down and the pool was being repaired. Though the pool was quite small (more like a large jacuzzi), it would have had a nice ocean view for lounging purposes. Also note that the rooms did not yet have room numbers, so you needed a good memory to find your room again.

Review 36：Great location, room, and staff. The room was very clean and had a partial ocean view from the balcony. The concrete panels on the balcony let in light, but provided privacy. The morning breakfast was freshly made and tasty. This hotel was close to everything!
