Review 1：To few members of staff speak English. To be more of an international hotel this has to improve.

Review 2：A great situated hotel and nice environment. Quiet and relaxed.

Review 3：Poor internet signal, motel was far from everything, no real curtains in the window....only sheers and there were bright lights outside the window. Sink was small and fixtures were in an awkward position for such a small sink. Hot water was very slow to arrive. Heating seemed to only be available during the night this time of year (autumn). A loud party and barking dogs next door prevented me from getting any sleep! TV controls were not user friendly and there were no instructions.

Review 9：Have stayed here twice now. Not all the staff know English, but they know their way around Sumy, and will set up transportation for you. Very clean; I enjoy their cafe--wide selection, inexpensive, artfully prepared (which seems typical of Ukrainian restaurants and cafes generally) . Reminds me of nicer gasthofs in southern Germany. Right on the river.

Review 11：The coziness, cleanliness of the room. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Excellent value for money. I highly recommend it. With a nature and riverview, what more could you ask for.

Review 20：my room was over the café and sleep was not optional until after midnight, chef substituted food at much higher prices without notice. If you want the $57 Grivna steak, not the $450 Grivna steak, ask if they have it first or they will just serve what is in stock and you pay the bill. The steak ultimately was worth every penny, but there's a point.

Review 52：Arrived having booked bath in room only shower air/con not working safe not working both fixed after i was told could swap room but would hace to pay more and still wouldn'thave bath. phned booking.com to complain they phoned hotel and was then told we could move next day to room with a bath. Next day came and after all the trouble as air was now fixed etc decided to stay were we were told reception, they then said we would have to pay more for the room we were in as they put us in wrong one to start, by now lost the will to live so just agreed. On checking out was told how much due as used mini bar and extra for them putting us in wrong was told how much when i asked fo itemised bill was told dont do bills and was told just to pay! what a disgrace, just in case this might be a language problem my wife is Ukrainian so of coure speaks perfect Russian

Review 53：Zdybanka is a quaint small hotel nestled on a river with a great deal of daily foot traffic consisting of people walking to work, mothers with small children playing on the river walk. Great people watching! The food at the hotel was extremely good for the price and the wait staff was attentive and helpful. The desk staff was attentive and helpful as well. I enjoyed my 9 days at Zdybanka!

Review 54：If you have noisy neighbors or other rude guests the walls are a little thin. There was a couple of guys that got drunk and the staff could have stepped in as they were getting rather rude.

I could not convimce them to pick me up at the airport.
